It could be whatever question about the model when it was released or whatever, and then I got
points of answering it correctly and then I announced the winner and the winner of
the week got to get challenged the next week, but pretty much all my one every single week in a row.
Så, jag tror att If you're in the club and it's like, oh, it's close to seeing like 5 minutes, order your cyber cab
and you can ride after the service is kind of close because you can order it before 2am
but it still will take you to the destination even if that destination is at 1 hour away.
So it will drive you to 3am or whatever, no problem, just make sure to order it before
but that's awesome. I mean, Alex, yeah. Can you, I remember, like, you could, it would
it would pick you up afterwards sometimes too, right? As long as you book it before that time,
isn't that how it's working? So if you book it before 2, but it can't get to you to like 2.30,
it'll still go no matter what. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, you can totally do that. That is no issue.
As long as you order it beforehand, but when I was in Austin and I tried to do this or not
order it but just check if I could order, it kind of started glitching a bit right before closing
and it gave me the option to order then the order option to order disappeared and then it came
back again so I don't know, maybe that is fixed or maybe that's just a van road issue, I don't know.
But it's cool. So it's only like closed for 4 hours now, the service. So I think we're going to have
the service operating 24 hours soon. Can you still say that they didn't do this like 3 weeks ago
when we were all there? Because that I felt like that was kind of needed. I think it stopped operating
at 10 pm. Like these were just like 2 weeks ago and then limit was like 10 pm. And now all of
sudden it's 2 am. So yeah, it's pretty cool. You guys have any thoughts on this? Yeah, I mean good news.
That means they're not only confident in the software, but also when you increase the hours,
you also are going to be increasing how many cars you have to clean and
I'm sure they're rotating cars in and out based on certain whatever circumstances they have.
So increasing the hours is definitely a big deal in my opinion. But I think it's really like
after the 2 am is when things get really crazy because that's when you have all the people who
didn't do the last calls. Or you have all the people who did do the last calls and they're
just completely wasted and those are the people that really need a safe ride home.
So it's good that they're going out to 2 am and hopefully we'll see 24 7 soon.
According to my analysis, 2 am is later than 10 pm. You are correct, sir. This is very much
correct. Well done. But yeah, that's true. How do we continue from this?
Anyways, I had something on my mind, but I kind of forgot it when Omar stayed in that fact.
So that kind of threw me off, to be honest.
Yeah, so it should technically be, some of the things becomes a bit better at night.
Such as energy cost is usually cheaper at night. Also, I don't know, but it seems like it's not
as much traffic either. Nothing is better at night. Every hour you increase the service past midnight,
people get exponentially more fucked up. The guy who stayed out until 10 is 10 times less
fucked up than the guy who stayed out 11 12 1 am 2 am. By the time you get to 5 am and 4 am,
I mean, yeah, that guy's fucking blacked out. The bars have closed two hours ago. They probably
already threw up in one of their shoes. And now they need a cyber cab. You got to make
sure not to hit this guy when you're picking him up. Yeah, it's a challenge. And having less
traffic, operating at higher speeds and making sure you're not hitting anybody,
making sure you're not hitting any pets. Yeah, it's a challenge for sure. They have to be very
confident in the software to be running this late, to be honest. I mean, heating anyone, I don't
see that as you have seen how fast a cyber cab or the more wife of that matter reacts. As soon as
you even showed the intention of stepping into the road, it immediately breaks. Like, yeah, it's not
even fair to call it superhuman because it's not human. It's just like way, way better at reacting.
So I don't see that issue. Yeah, the pets issue. Had I solved that in like three weeks, all of
some of the trainers, this new good model that doesn't kill pets or have way more already erased
all the pets in Austin. So that's a non-issue now. I don't know. But yeah, they've actually got a
video on the robot tax. He's safety page. You can see some animals running out into the street.
They're able to avoid them now. So I mean, yeah, it's easy to say no, it handles it, but
in the dark, there's not a lot of sunlight. People can be hiding behind things. People are drunk.
People do stupid things. People have scooters. So to do this in a driverless car and be confident that
you're not going to run anyone over, they make it look easy, but it's not easy. I think they
crossed four million miles last night on the robot taxi safety page. So it's last month at the
beginning of the month, they were at one million. Now they've hit four million. We're getting close
to the end of October here. So a lot of those miles are in the night. Some of the miles are in the
rain, and they've still been managed to have zero airbag deployments. And Wager would probably ahead of
four million just based on what they've released at the Q3 airings call. But yeah, I mean,
I agree with Omar too. I don't know if you saw this Omar or maybe Alexander, maybe you saw
this too, but there was one of those party trolleys, and it ended up, at first people thought that
the cybercab door hit the trolley, but from post that I've seen, they actually ran into the
cybercab, which is interesting. So it's all kinds of just random shit that can happen at night.
And I was in there. I think you underestimate how dumb some people are. People will just,
like even in my small hometown, it's nowhere near the, I'm not a pedestrian crossing the street,
that downtown Austin has like dude, we, like people just don't pay attention. They'll just cross
the street like randomly, who gives a shit like right in front of cars. So I can't imagine what
they have to deal with in Austin. It's probably a nightmare. Yeah, well, that is kind of, I think that's
kind of fine. So I need some data with them. Miles that we're doing on the Robo
Taxing Network because I had a time which the right took. I had a mileage. It took. I had a price
and the time of day and so on. So I kind of put all that into Grook and did some data on that. So my
average speed was 17 miles per hour, probably not on the network. It's 17 miles per hour,
even like on an average speed, that is not like for any given moment, it can be higher, it can
be lower. But when you say 17, right? 17 miles per hour, average speed. But that's just like an
average, you take the mines and divide it by the time travel on the network and so on. But in
town, given like if you're on like Congress, you're driving, that can be a bit faster,
but on the smaller streets. It's not that fast. If somebody steps out, I think the side of the
cab can't be able to stop in time. And that is also been seen. I mean, we haven't had any
personal injuries as far as I know. Nobody has been hit by the side of the cab.
So I think we would have seen that kind of by now. I mean, it's still been operating in a dark
for a month, an hour so right. So I think it's pretty safe. It's hard, but I feel it's safe.
I would say, this is just me speculating, of course. But I would say it's more,
like not even software-based now that they're comfortable. I could be wrong. But I think I would
feel like it's more operations-based. Because when you increase those hours and everybody's
calling rides, they get home, you're going to need more cars. You're going to need more people
to clean the cars. There's a lot of things to consider, especially as they keep on increasing
the geofans, they're just going to need more and more and more. That's interesting, right? Because
I reposted this video from Tesla. It's almost like two years old now by that
robot that vacunes the cybercad. I co-poster, it's like, is this real now? And just crickets.
A lot of people saw it, and liked it and commented on it, but crickets from Tesla. Nobody said
anything. So I don't know. I mean, that robot, I think that is needed if they're going to scale to
ridiculous levels. It kind of becomes nightmare if you don't have stuff like this.
Wes Spencer was in here because he posted something, it was a while ago now, maybe like a month and
a half or so ago. But he found, he's really good at finding these permits and stuff for
the depots. They're going to do and everything like that. And inside, he found one for, I can't
remember if it was Dallas or Texas or Houston or I mean, Dallas, Houston or Austin, but he found
one where they registered for a permit to build for a building. And inside the building, it did list
like some kind of cleaning equipment. Now we don't know if that's actually the robot suckers
or not, but one could speculate that they could be doing that, but I do agree with you.
Yeah, I wonder because they're only really made for the cyber cab, right? Not the model Y?
Is that right? Yeah, but it shouldn't be that hard to just do it for the model Y as well.
What do you really need? The thing I, because I only saw trash in one robot accident, I wasn't
model Y. I was just like, aluminum, foliage or whatever you call it.
