• Account info: username and email you provide at registration (password stored encrypted)
• Download history: Space links, titles and timestamps you request
• Device info: browser type (User-Agent); IP addresses are stored only as a daily-salted hash for abuse detection — never in raw form
• Usage data: pageviews, clicks, scroll depth and dwell time (our own first-party analytics plus Google Analytics, both using anonymous IDs only)
• Analytics data is retained for 180 days by default and then deleted automatically. You can opt out at any time via window.ifyTrackOptOut(), or by enabling Do Not Track / GPC in your browser

3 How We Use Information

• Provide core services: process downloads, generate AI transcripts and summaries
• Account maintenance: authentication, download history
• Service improvement: analyze usage patterns
• Security: detect and prevent abuse

4 Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We only share it when: 1) required by law; 2) protecting our legitimate rights; 3) service providers (e.g. payment processing, analytics) process data under strict confidentiality.

5 Cookies

We use cookies to maintain login sessions, remember language preferences and analyze traffic. Our analytics identity uses two random-UUID cookies (ify_vid, a 1-year visitor ID, and ify_sid, a 30-minute session ID); they contain no personal information. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect some features such as staying logged in.

To opt out of behavioural tracking, run window.ifyTrackOptOut() in your browser console, or enable Do Not Track (DNT) / Global Privacy Control (GPC). After opting out, page behaviour is no longer recorded; account features (downloads, transcription) are unaffected.

6 Data Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data: bcrypt password hashing, TLS encryption in transit, JWT authentication. While no method is 100% secure, we continuously improve our security practices.

7 Your Rights

• Access & correction: view and edit your info on the profile page
• Deletion: remove records from download history, or contact us to delete your account
• Export: download your records via the "Export CSV" feature
