Good afternoon, good morning, depending on where you are, welcome to the conservative hour. Today, we're going to talk about the state of kind of the world a little bit because there's all kinds of fires and crazy and wonderful things, I guess to some people happen, but a lot of people seem to be really on edge. Elections, wars, apparently people believe there's blackouts coming, people are prepping for whatever it is they're prepping for. Apparently, a lot of countries have been telling their citizens to prep for certain things and it's obviously freaking out people. I don't really understand some of it because I understand the Iran stuff and even whatever's happening in North Korea, but it seems like everyone is on edge for some reason and maybe it's just because there's a lot of things happening and we just don't really understand where this is going to lead. With that in mind, we will get to Brother Chris, how are you doing? Hey, good morning everybody. Should be the top of today. I'm doing good. Yeah, there is a lot going on. There's a lot going on in the Middle East. There's a lot going on in Ukraine and Russia. There's a lot going on all over the world. I think some people, a lot of their panic is based on this app. Japan gave a water and water and what a well. I forgot the exact order, but that wasn't because of the actual Pacific weather that we're going to have this year. So they're going to see some massive hurricanes, tsunamis and whatnot. So they said to brace, brace for it and have water and food stored. So some of this gets blown up proportion, especially on this app because this app is nothing but hot garbage these days. It's getting really bad and speaking of like the world gone mad, like people have gone mad attacking people that I like on this on this on this app. It's getting pretty crazy. Some of the crazy conspiracy theories and all the crap that's going on. It's getting ridiculous. So anyways, let's get into it. It should be a really good conversation to do. Appreciate you always first brother locks. How you doing? I'm doing good brother. Nate, how are you doing? What's going on, Chris? Everybody else? Man, I'm great. It's just it was a little chilly this morning. It was like 39 degrees. I was not happy outside running. It was angry running today. Yeah, man. Yeah, there's this a lot of crazy shit, man. You're hearing you're hearing the end of the world type of shit. Everybody stock up. Everybody get ready. Everybody would it's like a COVID 2.0 on steroids, but I blame the packer fans. Probably them. But you know, I got to throw that in there. For a stack of fans. Hey, man, is this much how you hate to steal his brother? We hate that we hate the packers. I don't blame him for everything that's wrong in the world, though. Dave. I do. I do. But uh, thank you. That's different. I blame the Yankees for everything. Yes, the Yankees are the evil empire. That's different. But yeah, man, go ahead, bro. But yeah, man, like you're you're hearing all the stuff like be ready, be prepared. What are you doing to get prepared? Um, like it's like COVID 2.0 on steroids. That's like I said, and it's like, I don't know. You, we see it like, remember terminator? Um, when at the end, they knew it. And then the robots come in taking over us. You know, should like that. But like I said, man, like Chris was saying earlier, this is the internet. You hear all kinds of bullshit. You don't know what to believe. And you like I said, you don't know what to believe. If this guy's right, this guy's right. There's a lot of haters on this. There's people on here. They got nothing else better to do just to sit on the app, make fun of people all day. But anyways, but at the end of the day, sometimes you got to look at it like this. You got to look at it like, you know what? There's so much we could do. And at the same time, we got to leave it in God's hands. You know what I mean? I mean, whatever happens happens like, you know, God will, will help, will help as long, you know, if you believe in them and believe in our Lord Jesus Christ. That's the way I look at it. But anyways, um, one more thing I got to say, and we always got to say, say like this. Just remember everybody there down. Let's go. You go always bear down. I knew key would be here. And definitely one of the people I wanted to hear from because I'm sure you've heard the same things and and do you, do you have any idea where this is coming from? Or do you think this is just mainly a social media thing? He. No, no. So like a long time ago, and this was actually a very long time ago, my, my actual interest. And I know most people don't know my backstory, but my actual interest after leaving the military was, um, FEMA was the federal emergency management agency. I believed it outside of like public service, like police and in military. I think that I mean, obviously FEMA completely trashed what I'm talking about here with what they did to the conservatives after that hurricane. But, you know, the idea that there's a, you know, if there's ever an emergency that you need some sort of management and coordination was something that I focused on for a very long time. And it was interesting because for a long time, they actually were recommending 90 days of food and water, water being actually primary. And then it just kind of disappeared from the website. It was kind of like everybody's anxiety that was talking about it. It got, you know, it, I guess it just seemed like too much. Um, but yeah, the standard has always been 90 days, right? Like it's never changed. You always need 90, 90 days, um, food and water. Now it doesn't have to be like, you know, you're not even flaming yons every day, but you got to think of your caloric intake on a normal basis and then fresh water, um, you know, cause it's usually dehydrated food that you're going to keep, um, you know, just in case the power and stuff like that goes out because most people don't, don't actually die from, you know, and long term, you know, problems that actually don't die from the reasons most people think it's usually, um, you know, like where they're trying to obtain water, but they don't have a filter and the water's dirty and then they get it, you know, they'll get a disease. And then there's no medicine available. So I've really been, I've really been excited that we're actually talking about this. I don't know how much it really pertains to like any real conflict happening. I just think that the standard has always kind of been 90 days. Like we have to have 90 days of food and water for each family member. Um, the water part is actually where it starts to get complicated. Um, most of us probably, no matter what the impacts would be, these would probably, at least from my research in the United States. You, you would only really have regional problems, right? Like the, the idea that the whole nation would somehow be under a problem at the same time, um, you know, outside of a major military conflict doesn't really exist. So, um, yeah, but I'm excited to have that discussion. Um, you know, Nathan, because I don't know why people, like why are people saying that this is new? This isn't new. I don't know if someone can look back in the way back machine, but it used to actually be 90 days. Um, they actually recommend if you do something, like if you're, um, older or disabled, it could be as much as six months, right? Like as much as six months. And it's not really like I was saying and you know, I'll shut up, but it's not really about, it's about just sustaining yourself until it gets back on track in the realistic version inside of the actual research is don't like look at it. You know, it's bad, I guess to say this, like you plan for 90 days, but the actual expectation is never for there to be something that lasts longer than 30 days. Um, you know, now I know COVID kind of, you know, people always yell at me about COVID. I'm not talking about like that sort of stuff. I'm talking about like if the electric goes out like there's, you know, there's almost no way that they're not going to restore electricity, um, you know, within two weeks, right? 30 days maximum. That's the normal circumstances. So, but yeah, I mean, it's a, it's a good topic because now people can start thinking about like what they're actually going to get and dehydrated, um, food is, um, you know, it's a good, it's storeable, right? Like I have some in the basement because, um, you know, I made this joke and, you know, I was, I was listening to Alex Jones for a long time. I started to have like panic attacks and, you know, I ended up my whole basement's full, um, storeable food now. So I think I overdid it. You know, I have like probably a year, but like 90 days is, you know, I think is reasonable, um, at bare minimum, um, probably 30 days everybody should be looking for. So, but yeah, I mean, Nathan, this is, I always thought everybody knew this, right? And everybody's having like a, you know, a hysteria attack or something. So, I don't know. What do you think? I think that you should always be prepared because especially after COVID, um, how crazy things got, um, to be out. I'm not being prepared. Scott has always been prepared. True. I'm just not a boy scout because that'll be weird. Um, just to not end. Excuse me, sir. I'm sorry, man. I just couldn't, I couldn't get with it, man. I was too busy playing baseball. I couldn't do the boy scout stuff. Look, the Catholic church and boy scouts, I made it out completely fine. All right. That is a miscal. Hey, and you, you absolutely need to know, listen to me. Like, I'm sorry for cutting you off. You have to know a boy scout, dude. Like they can, they know how, and these, um, what are they? Eagle scouts? If you have rope, they can do, look, I'm just telling you, you got to look into it because there's been times where I've needed it not. And I didn't know how to tie the knot and they know how to tie some knots. So I'll shut up. Yes. But before y'all go in, I'm going to get to the chief because we haven't heard from the chief in a while. Let me get Penn cached and then we'll go to chief and then we'll go to crookie. Hey, Nathan, can I say something real quick, brother? Uh, really quickly, sure. Um, I posted some, I posted in the purple pill that, um, the governments are telling their citizens to do a stockpile for emergency and all, this is of all countries. I just want to throw that in there. Thank you. Appreciate you. All right, Penn, what are your thoughts? More serious today. There's always a risk. Fear, bond, green will take years off of your life. Uh, you can't be prepared for every scenario and to stress out about it or over thinking in advance whenever these things come about. It's actually just introducing more stress, more cortisol into your body. Stay fit. Walk with Christ. This life is temporary. If something really bad does happen, you exhaust your supplies or someone aggresses against you when stuff hits the fan, then you go to heaven and this temporary life is over. So God bless you all. God bless the Jews. They're wonderful. Have a great day. Amen, Ken. Uh, it was. I was so shocked because usually he has something funny to say. So he threw us a curveball, but I would like to talk to, uh, yes, I would like to talk to the chief next. We haven't heard from the chief in a while. Chief, how are you? And welcome back. Good. I'm doing okay. Uh, it's interesting subject. It's something that's right up my lane after 30 years in law enforcement. You know, I can tell you, as you've seen out here in California, what unpreparedness looks like with the Palisades fire and the Eden Canyon fire, uh, a failure of leadership. And everybody in addition to being prepared yourself, you ought to be asking tough questions of your local officials, whether they're ready to go because that, you know, the thing about preparedness is, you know, everybody talks about it. It's one of those visual things. You have to be vigilant. You have to be preparing all the time. You have to be doing tabletops. You know, the best thing you can do is not be a burden by being prepared yourself. I don't overstate, uh, emergency is ever since Y2K, I never take a lot of stuff seriously. I just am writing for a few weeks in case I have to go it alone, right? And it happens. My power goes out regularly because I'm in one of those lanes when we get Santa Ana's, uh, where they shut down the power because they're afraid of fires. So I was out for three days just two weeks ago. So it happens all the time. But I, each individual needs to take responsibility and be prepared for us. I figured we said it 30 days is a good, is a good window. Uh, and he's right. Uh, these are usually localized disasters in the United States. If Florida gets hit, everybody else helps with our mutual aid system. And if California gets hit, normally we'll get help. A lot of the bigger states can, uh, can usually manage most of their emergencies. It's, it's a smaller states that don't, they're not resource rich. That really need to pay attention to what's going on locally and at the state level. I'm going to do an interview in a little bit. And that's one of the questions I'm going to ask a corner is, how is he ready? He's running for corner in Ada County, I think. How is he ready for a mass casualy instance or a natural disaster? Uh, how, how, what would he do if he was the corner? And those are the questions you ought to be asking your politicians. Certainly they didn't ask me or bass that. And they didn't ask the county officials here in LA that and they all failed, right? So though, that's, that's what you really need to hold your local people accountable. Because when it comes to a disaster, as I'm sure he can say, it is that initially response that will set the tone for success. You can't count on FEMA because FEMA just doesn't have the resources. Local people have the resources first and they got to be managed appropriately and properly. But like I said, you can be part of the team by making sure you're ready to go, uh, and not be a burden on the system. Thanks. If we appreciate you, Kroki, come on in here brother. What are your thoughts? Oh, I don't know. I mean, I came in here and you guys were just like, and just delving into like the worst case scenarios I've ever heard of my life. And I got a rock. You guys know, I'm very much acidic. Uh, but like it's, it's like the stuff I focus more on is like, you know, like the cost of living going up in next year. It's really, really going to be bad. Like, you know, today I was actually having like, there was a, we had a meeting about like economic development in my, uh, in my duties as a, uh, school janitor, I guess, uh, having a discussion about, uh, ag, agadomic, uh, you know, viability and the fact that like you're going to deal with people who aren't paying attention to a local ship because I keep trying to tell you, like the local stuff's the important shit. And everybody's focused on all of like this national shit. They have no control over and they're not focusing on the local stuff that is going to affect them more, especially as you're about to watch. Like next year, you know, whether you like Obamacare or not, and why don't you remove next year's when everybody's going to be really, especially if you're in a red district, going to be grabbing your fucking groin and your wallet because that's where you're going to start seeing like the pinch for a lot of people and local governments try to, you know, maneuver around that stuff, especially when it comes to rural hospitals and stuff like that. And I'm not trying to be negative. I'm a very positive person. I'm just saying that that's where you're really going to start seeing a lot of like the issues come up. And unfortunately, like what I was talking about today.
