other traders.
I have a community that is there to study for that purpose.
I also work, I teach, like I taught people physically at the same period in academia in
Aboujana, Nigeria when they want to learn trading in a San Francisco.
I did a beginner sessions or advanced sessions.
And therefore, I also run like my chance, I must like a much and foremost exchanges in
a San Francisco.
Your guy, your plug, if you don't want to go to the stress of P2P, you can definitely
work with me.
So it's good to be here once again.
Thank you so much for having me.
Whoa.
It's for me.
Shaikizi, you're now the one that worked for us for the evening one and only.
So now that everybody has already known and known you and known about the little introduction
about you.
I like to ask a very, very tricky and funny question.
Even though it's hard, but of them, but crypto passes for X.
What are the biggest differences between the crypto and for X markets?
And what should crypto traders understand before making the switch?
Flag quality switch?
Or before going into for X or crypto?
What should they know basically?
Okay.
So let's take a step by step.
Let's take a step by step.
The first question.
Crypto versus for X.
Right?
Yes.
Yes.
What are we get to know between crypto?
I would try to know which one is better or what?
What are we known about crypto versus for X?
Distinction.
Different.
Distinctions.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Interesting.
Interesting.
You know, interestingly, I tried both markets actively.
Even though we share exactly based off my experience.
I'm not some, you know, textbook bullshit.
I'm going to say.
Google it.
Google it.
Just see a whole lot of definition and differences between crypto versus for X.
But then I want to tell you based off experience.
So I was out with the crypto market, which is the main market that, let's say I have
more expertise on it.
Oh, I have a more built on the Sun.
So the crypto market is basically where you trade digital assets like Bitcoin and Ethereum.
That's what you're trying to do.
You trade digital assets like Bitcoin and Ethereum.
The first market is basically a dynamic price for X.
You realize what's for X?
Because you would add.
You do it.
This is the fact that we are hearing for X.
It's called foring exchange.
It's not for X.
I asked you to take out the Muslim on Instagram.
Say for X market.
Come on, teach me these for X.
Oh, I don't.
And that is for us.
We're not defined when it's for X because it's a foreign exchange market.
And basically what you trade in the for X market, you're trading the relative value
of one currency against another.
Now, let me tell you how how do you have been influenced or the major difference between
them, which is basically what moves these markets.
And the crypto market itself is basically the prices in the crypto market are basically
influenced by market sentiment and liquidity regulations.
To consult like because obviously you are trading digital assets and digital assets
they usually have like it took on supply.
They have market cap.
And now right now they are finally ETFs that we built around some major assets.
Major crypto assets.
Yeah.
And then they also some crypto specific news.
And I was in one of that in that influence the crypto market is Trump.
So those are the.
Trump.
Trump are most times a lot more.
But I think these these a lot more influences dying down so Trump.
Trump specific guys.
So those are the back of the mind that Trump is a key factor in the crypto market.
But now let's get up to the forex markets.
The forex market now is basically controlled by you know, the prices basically respond
to interest rates, inflation, employment data, central bank policy and economic expectations
in the sense we would have said maybe we are the country in Nigeria.
Our engines was the reason they were able to say you know we get levels for the international
markets in the sense.
They are in the parts of forex market.
But then we look at his forex market is basically we are ready for a market basically
trading.
We're looking at the trick currencies of countries that are strong.
Does they have strong economy economy?
Economy.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So on the key difference about the forex and the crypto market is that the crypto market
is a 24-7 market.
Right now when you weekend and the crypto market is the movie you can really keep to market
and make money.
But if we're not market is it 24-5 market.
What I mean is this first market is about 1 to day and 5 days, 5 days a week.
Crypto market is 24-7.
Any day, anytime, no words you are looking for, take a trade.
You understand they are not losing.
They're not a leader.
Market are shut down.
But forex market it has closing time.
You understand and for the market actually can change across different groups.
You understand.
And that thing is the volatility of these markets.
Now for the crypto market, crypto market kind of experience extreme price movements that
they are very volatile.
And you know the reason for that is maybe because of particular liquidation areas or maybe
unexpected news.
But then the first market is visually more liquid because it's really more liquid and most
times most of the forex pays are not really that volatile as some crypto crypto pays.
And so what we want to really know crypto crypto market is very volatile.
I mean you just don't repeat as volatile or maybe you just don't repeat as volatile.
But then the crypto market is way volatile and the forex market.
But then volatility is wanting but then the first market is more liquid and the crypto
market that's another thing to have in mind.
And so both of them are volatile but then crypto markets experience more extreme volatility.
But then for a market is more liquid.
In case you don't know what liquid means, what I mean by liquid means there's more
money, there's more money.
You understand.
So the simple analogy between what I'm just trying to say is that for Bitcoin as an asset
the price depends on how the market values Bitcoin.
Bitcoin depends on how people see what people pass.
You can see that now we cannot see.
So it's basically human perception of it that gives its value.
Value yeah.
That's why you can see the way that Trump comes up and say Bitcoin is good and Bitcoin
is light because everybody is based on Bitcoin.
Everybody believes that Bitcoin is good.
The market will certainly go up.
And Trump as a commodity Bitcoin is bad and Bitcoin is crashed because we both
feel that are listening to the canals.
They cannot hold it.
You understand.
So basically of how people passives it.
You understand that for Bitcoin as an asset.
Well, for let's say a pair like EuroUSD for example, because that's the Euro economy
and the US economy.
Economy.
Between these two economies.
So now trading a pair like EuroUSD.
What you need to be asking yourself is the Euro becoming stronger or is it becoming
weaker in relation to the dollar.
So trading EuroUSD now you are not going to take your trade by as based off which of this
currency is becoming stronger or weaker in relation to the other currency.
And you know the US, since they are currently at the top of the world.
Now based on the time the US relies you know always stronger than you know.
You understand.
So these are like the key differences between you know the crypto and forest market.
I hope you guys were able to understand that.
Thank you.
They give a really good knowledge.
And I hope the community are taking notes because this is where most of the questions from
the quiz where you're going to win the $100 going to come from.
So let's move on to the other question.
And that says how do the forest markets operates and what role do banks, central banks,
institutional institutions, retail traders play in currency price movements.
That is the market structure.
I said how does the forest market operates and what role do banks, central banks, institutional
and retail traders play in currency price movements.
Overall we are talking about the market structure.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
So how do the forest market operates?
Yes.
And what role do banks, central banks?
It's institutions.
Yes.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
All these players in Forex, that's the banks, the central banks, institutions and retail
traders play in currency price movements.
Okay.
Okay.
Very good.
So now what Facebook is talking about, Facebook won the international standards.
The forest market is a global network.
Yes.
So it's not as if once and try it's not like it's controlled by once and try it's
not one person.
And there's various ways that come together to make up the forest market.
And these are the main players.
I want to do something.
Which is why you just said central banks number one, the retail traders, businesses,
hedge funds and let's say commercial banks and the rest.
So for central banks, which is the key guys, the main players.
The key players.
Yes.
No, I'm going to give an example with the US Reserve and the European Central Bank.
Now, these guys, the influx of the forest markets, all the currency, the influx of currency,
its own interest rates, monetary policy and communication.
And we're going to talk about these interest rates, monetary policy as we proceed in
this session.
I believe it's part of the same thing to talk about.
So yes, that's a happy bet on that.
It's on the side.
Why the commercial banks and dealers, what they do is that they facilitate currency
transactions for clients and they trade with all their institutions, contributing to
price discovery and liquidity.
Basically, they're just controlling how money is coming to the market and how money is
living.
That's what the commercial banks.
And then we have the hedge fund and asset managers.
These guys, the trade for profits.
You know, any hedge fund or asset managers, trading for profits in a sense.
The trade currencies to the profit from markets, users and potential international investment.
See, there's a lot of deep things when it comes to trading in this financial markets.
It's more than just by you say, hey, but we get to, we get to understand this of this
thing as we proceed.
Where are you trading?
Where are you trading?
Which is people like me and Shaikis.
Shaikis.
Shaikis.
Shaikis.
Well, yeah.
I'm just, I'm just, I'm just a retreat with that boss.
So we just read that like, what we do or how we participate in the market is our
part, speed through brokers.
You know, somebody are assessing, why we have to assess the market basically through,
you know, them providing liquidity for us and maybe all the counter parties, but then
you notice, yeah, if you want to trade your first market, you have to get a sign up
on that, you have to sign up on that, you have to go into the market with your tender
$1.
Oh, Shaikis, kind of into that.
As well.
You know, you understand.
That's why we get to, you know, those shady things we have are broken down.
But then that's just basically it's, yes, and so the thing is, let me give you guys a
press example.
So let us say for example, now, if the US, let's say for example, the market expects the
US Federal Reserve to, you know, caught interest rates, we'll talk about interest rates
later.
So you can understand what's interest rates mean.
But then let us expect them to caught interest rates.
And then there's not a strong reflection report that, you know, make sure that we
believe that the rates will mean high for a long time.
Now, how that will affect investors is that investors might decide to, you know, revise
their expectations in favor of the dollar.
And if the rates will remain high, the dollar will strengthen against, let's say, for example,
Euro-USD, for example, yes, you're right.
And then that will push.
