crypto and Europe.

I'm just...
Yes sir, we can hear you Kevin if you want to try you can too.
Hello Pablo, then can you guys hear me?
Yes, perfect.
That's perfect.
Cheers.
All set so one more minute and we begin.
Welcome to this X space from BingX.
My name is Pablo and I'm going to be the host during today's space.
I think of course everyone that is connected and logged into this space in which we are going to try...
We, I'm not going to be doing all of the talking the our main guests are going to be talking about this.
The idea is to talk about the BingX EU and the Mikalai sense or Mikar license.
It depends on what you usually read about this and also talk about building the future of crypto in Europe.
But let's start with the beginning and I will welcome our two guests.
I will present each of you and you can say hi to the audience.
So first of all, Kevin Lee, the Chief Strategy Officer of BingX. Hello Kevin, welcome.
Hi, hello again Pablo and GM, GM everyone's in space. How are you guys doing?
It's actually first time to do an official BingX space here.
So I'm really excited to talk about a picture.
Nice, nice, good to know.
Yes Dan, let me introduce you first because you need to know exactly who you are.
I mean most of the people already know, but also with us we have Daniel Lai who is a Chief Executive Officer at BingX EU.
Now you have the floor Dan. Hello.
Thank you Pablo and I am the CEO of BingX Europe.
Happy to be here. Thank you for the introduction.
I don't know if I lost Dan, it's only me or anyone else.
Okay, I'm still here, sorry.
Oh, there you go.
Now we know we have a lot of, I mean nowadays it's all remote and global.
So we are connected in every single place, different place of the world.
So connection can be tricky in each place, but I believe it's going to be okay.
Okay guys, so let's begin with the round of questions.
The idea is to talk with you Kevin and with you Dan about this amazing milestone for BingX EU and also for the brother brand to have the the megalyses in Europe.
You know, it's been announced a couple of weeks ago and the idea is to explore a little bit more and deeper about what's the future of crypto and Europe
and what's the future for BingX EU regarding Europe and the operations in that region.
So let's begin. Firstly, I will ask Kevin from the perspective of BingX as a global brand.
Why was establishing a regulated presence in Europe and important strategic priority for you?
Okay, yeah, thank you. Well, first of all, I would just like a huge congratulations to Dan and the BingX EU teams is a huge achievement and is a truly a team effort.
But yeah, to answer your question, Pablo, obviously crypto regulations been a hot topic for like a few years now and from the global standpoint we've been always looking at, you know, like different region with the addressable audience
and also like the maturity of the respective regulations framework.
And you can tell right some some some of the region I'm not going to name names for sure, but like some of the region have like huge potential like uses around but the framework like way we can actually operate at a
space is not as mature at other regions. And on the other side, like there's some region that's may have really good like a licensing regime, but like they they they
adjustable market is not as like attractive like EU is like it has like a right balance like in my point of view, it's just like it's a huge market.
And at the same time, we took about like like regulations always come off like from Europe, but also like we can see like really objectively it is one of the most mature and comprehensive and and where we got a consistent
group around the globe. So yeah, so I think this is like a very natural progression since we we've been like make directly the space out direction globally.
And I'm not sure this is not the only region that we've been looking at, but it is probably the one of the first regions that crossed the finish line.
So again, huge congrats, but more to come in this space.
Good thing you're giving for the answer. Yes, and then do you want to add some because this is probably one of the hottest topics. I mean, as soon as as the announcement of being ex EU license was on the table, all the conversation went over to OK, regulation, Europe, and how are going to be doing the things.
And then so I don't know if you wanted to add something to what Kevin said.
Yeah, thanks, Kevin Paula for the congratulations and you're right to hit on the addressable market in the EU. We're talking about and actually to be more precise the E.E.A. there European economic area.
We're really talking about an addressable market of 527 million people, right? So that's colossal.
As to you know, this beaker project itself personally, it's been a labor of love and it's also been an eye opening experience for me right because we're literally within a larger company building a smaller company from scratch.
And so it's been a huge part of the process, you know, HR operations, custody, tech, Info security, everything, right? And so we're really building the whole house here. And so it's been really satisfying that way to see the house be built from its very foundation. And now, you know, it's a good looking house if I may say so.
I think this is a first big, big foray into a really regulated space, a really mature space. So we're really happy to step into this regulatory framework because what it provides is certainty, right?
As a certainty, you have a stakeholder in the regulator who is working with us, you know, over time to discuss with us, you know, what are the products we can offer today, what are the products we can offer in the future, right?
We're talking about just assets, we're talking about features, we're talking about, you know, tools that users can use, let's say potentially just to use an example in AI, right? You know, that is the discussion that we can potentially have with the regulator in the future as to how that might work in the regulator framework.
I think things are pretty exciting in the sense that you have a partner who is also a regulator in the EU working with us to map out a very workable business plan.
And then personally for you, this mic authorization because you've been behind this whole process and I know personally that it was not easy as it should because it's not something that you can ask any friend to get.
So for you personally, how was it to finally achieve this this milestone that than are you there? We lost him probably.
Okay, I move ahead until Dan gets back to the conversation for you that probably are listening about what we are saying about being X or being X EU.
It's two different entities, of course, being X is focusing on the more global scope and being X use focusing on the European continent.
I don't know if we are having any issues. Let me check. Are you listening to me? Okay, or we lost all the connection?
No, I have you. Okay, okay, perfect. So let's move. Kevin probably Dan is the one that is not Dan. Are you here also probably not.
Okay, Kevin, let's move into another another questions.
