Let's see, I think everybody that's here is familiar with how the spaces are go. So scroll down here a little bit. I am not gonna read through all the guidelines. I'm gonna lean on my co-host a lot tonight. I wanna thank Trish. She is really gonna take the reins on some of the topic here tonight. Because a lot of it has some stuff to do with what she specializes in. So and it just so happens that I'm kind of stuffy and everything. So I'm sure you all would rather listen to her a whole lot more than me and she'll. So with that, I think I wanna start by our honorary co-host. I'm really looking forward to going over the rest of this book with you, Cindy, Charlie Kirk, what a fantastic human being. Right? And I love that he lives on through you, Cindy, as you go over his thoughts, his beliefs, and his morals with us. It's just wonderful to be here. Thank you. Thank you for being here. I really appreciate you, Shell. You're an amazing woman and setting a high bar for us. You're a good example. So as you follow Christ and we follow you too. So with that, we are going to be talking tonight before I introduce Trish. We're going to be talking about chapter two. It kind of, it flows out of chapter one. It continues on that, you know, nothing doesn't create something. Like you can't, only God can do that. And that is such a difference from our today's the worldview and cultural revelation that's going on to try to undo that completely. They're trying to undo God's divine ordering. The postmodern thinkers, they reject completely that a creator exists. They have, they replace God as creator with all these new age different things and self proclaimed realities and truths. And it just, it ends up taking you right back to before the Spirit of God hovered over the waters. And everything was darkness and chaos. And if you're paying attention to what's going on in this world, oh my goodness. Did you all see some of the stuff going on in France yesterday? So sad, so sad. But that's what happens when you abandon God's divine order of things and his perfect plans for us, we end up right back at chaos where darkness was and the Spirit of God showed up to hover over that and bring order and peace. And instead of lawlessness, we have a love and a righteous law. And it is so good. It's so good. So with that, Trish, I know the chapter starts out, really with four pillars, the atheism for years have tried to stand on. And then we move into a case for God and why his way is better. So yeah, what are you looking forward to tonight, Trish? And I'm just going to hand it over to you. Tell us what you're excited about and run with it, my dear sister. I'm glad to have you here. Hey, hey, everybody. So I think this is one of the most important chapters in the book. And it's only chapter two. So it's going to be interesting to read ahead and see what is in store for the rest of his book and in Charlie's thoughts on the evidence of God existing. And his central argument is just like Cindy just said, nothing can't create something. And the existence of our universe calls for an explanation. And so he goes into a lot, kind of like science part of it and discussing the Big Bang Theory and some other things that creationists have studied. And so I'm definitely excited about discussing a little bit about that. And a little bit more about the atheism. And before pillars or some questions that he sets up, and then he gives his answer. So yeah, I'm going to discuss a little bit about that tonight. And I'll pass it back. Well, why don't we open with prayer real quick and you can just take it away. So with that, Father God, we come to you. We thank you for the space and place tonight where we can come together, learn from you, explore the book that Charlie Kirk wrote, his last gift to us. And compare it to biblical truths and come to our own decisions. Thank you that this space is not about denominations and one person being right or wrong or telling other people what they have to do to conform them to our ways. But this is about you and your word God. So conform us to you in the image of Christ Jesus. Lord, give us open hearts and open minds to hear what your spirit would say to us tonight. And Trish, anytime you want me to help with something or you just let me know. Otherwise, are you there, Trish? Hello. I'm here. I'm nervous indeed. Oh, Lord, give her peace. It's OK. You know what, if it helps just have a discussion with me about it, like where you're at, tell us, what's the four pillars atheism that they have leaned on in the past and that are really being proven by scientists to be not a pillar at all. The pillars are crumbling, right? As they come into more discoveries. Yeah, so I was actually going to bring up like the presentation of that and see if you could go through those questions for me. Would that be all right? The questions. Hey, God, let me, let me. Sorry, guys. I think you're talking about the group discussion questions later. Just take off with what you got. And I'll fill in for you wherever needed OK. You got it. OK, so the four major pillars of atheism that Charlie points out, he has four major questions and which he believes is a non-theistic explanation that we must address. Charlie's goal with these questions is to challenge the idea that belief in God is irrational while disbelief is automatically the more scientific position. So those questions that he set up in the book are, so there's four questions. And then so I'll mention the questions and then give his argument. So where did the universe come from? Kirk argues that the universe requires a cause beyond itself. And this is where we'll get into the scientific part of it with the DNA and the quantum physics. With quantum physics, I'm not going to go into tonight. I think that should be reserved for another space because there's so many different theories that people explore. And it would definitely require a little bit more time to go through it all. The next question is, why is Earth suitable for life? He points to the conditions that allow life to exist as evidence of design. How did life begin? He questions whether non-living matter could produce the first life through natural processes. And how did consciousness and morality develop? This is one of my favorite questions. Kirk argues that human consciousness, moral awareness and spirituality are difficult to explain without a creator. So the important distinction with all of this is Kirk's arguments for God existence is not scientific proof that every alternative explanation is impossible, but the origins of the universe, the life, especially consciousness and morality are separate questions. And scientists and philosophers continue to debate aspects of them. And some of the questions that we're going to ask at the end of the space is going to revolve around those questions. We're going to have you guys answer them in what you think. So one of humanity's biggest questions is where did everything come from? And is there evidence that God exists?
