Again, sure, yes.
For the second time, but yes.
I, you know, like I always look just to make sure
because I've had that happen and then I was like,
what the heck is going on?
Something is fishy.
It's rotten and then Mark.
Absolutely.
I'm just having some coffee trying to get my brain
in the year here.
Yeah, you and me both.
My third, so I third that.
Well, I'm trying to start like the time
we're supposed to start.
Marlon has been delaying these to where they don't even start
for another 45 minutes.
But he is out of town for two days.
So you guys are stuck with me for today and tomorrow.
Hey, that'll work.
Like I said the other day,
you're just the best co-host ever.
I'm surprised Carol didn't say anything to him yesterday or Friday.
That's funny.
Yeah, I was going to give him grief on there,
but you know, whatever.
I didn't find the right opportunity to slide it in there.
I feel like, well, you know, people are saying.
I was waiting for it.
And then of course, you know,
I was going to disavow all knowledge of it, you know,
just to kind of keep it going.
Right.
Well, what do you have to this morning?
Jewels, he says, getting coffee like me and Terry.
Well, today is an off day.
I'm going to go out and get some things done around the stores
and around the house here.
So, yeah, one times.
Now when you say stores,
what do you mean by that?
I mean, like grocery store.
I have to I didn't go this weekend.
So I'm going to pack up on some stuff here.
And of course, I read my proverbs this morning.
And isn't it good?
Yeah, so far so good.
Yeah, last night with the boy, you know,
proverbs one.
So then tonight will be proverbs two for him.
You know, and he's heard him before.
He hears him every night.
So it's a good routine.
Yeah, I did proverbs two and some 33.
Since there's a hundred and something on them, I think.
Yeah, we did.
We do proverbs one,
Psalms one, you know, in our little reading.
And then he usually passes out.
He always likes me to read Genesis one.
He just loves hearing that for some reason.
And he'll he'll go at the end of each.
Each one he'll go on.
That was the first day.
That was the second day.
You know, he loves doing that.
That's adorable.
Yeah, cute to hear him in the background, you know, on Tuesday night.
And so they were.
Yeah, tomorrow night we're ending out in gospel of John.
What's weird is this morning, like I always do, I was, you know,
just let the Bible kind of open where it's going to open and read whatever is presented.
You know what I mean?
And they am first thing right there in Luke 12.
And I put part of it right up there in the top.
But you to be ready for the Son of Man is coming at an hour that you do not expect.
I thought that was pretty awesome to open to that one today.
Yeah, that is that's the deal where you just kind of open it randomly and whatever pops up pops up.
Right.
Yep.
And like it's God telling me of all people, but when he's gone, I'm like, you know,
isn't that something you really need notice?
Oh, it's sorry, Jules.
You're getting the advance notice.
I just think we live in the most interesting times right now.
What a great time to be alive, huh?
Yeah, yeah.
You know, it definitely makes you think.
You know, because I mean people, I think, forget that God destroyed the earth before and with the flood.
I know only eight people let he chose to survive.
And because the world was full of sin, I would dare to say that today's world is worse than before.
You know, so it's interesting when you read through because that's chapter 12 of Luke.
And I just read verse 40, but if you read on through the rest of the chapter, it's pretty heavy duty, man.
Luke is a great gospel.
Well, you're right about that, though.
There is definitely no shortage of evil right now.
It's just coming out of the woodwork, isn't it?
It's the unfortunate truth.
And it's hard for us to say folks on what's right.
And that's why you know, I mean, because no way by now at the end of the space is I always try to tell people,
put God first in your life. It makes all the difference.
And there's a lot to that.
What does that mean putting him first?
You know, and because there's so many distractions, that's hence why I always use that hashtag distraction that we are parted with nothing but distractions to keep us away from what?
To keep our focus away from God essentially.
You know, well, the devil makes it.
He never takes a day off.
He never goes, well, you know, today I'm going to take a day off and not really do anything today.
You know, it's a constant.
Yeah, you know, the co-head deals with all these spaces and all the crap that we talk about, all the political nonsense.
You know, I mean, I've got it on my dang timeline.
I pinned, you know, the whole thing that I believe that there is no political solution to fix the real time dismantling of our constitution republic.
The only solution is we, the people putting God first. I believe that.
Yeah, I absolutely have to take a break. I was so need, you know, need deep in it that if you look at my timeline, you'll notice there's no politics on there because sometimes you just need to step back and get outside and, you know, get that nature in.
Feel life and not all this craziness.
Yeah, I mean, it's nice out here in Tennessee. It's raining. Well, now it's kind of sprinkling, but you know that refreshing smell and stuff after it rains.
And I mean, there's something awesome about it. You know, we got a nice big plot of land and we just cruise around and chill out.
Tennessee is absolutely gorgeous. I've been there a couple times, but a woo. Yeah, you're very lucky to be in that area. It's beautiful.
Yeah, my wife and I spent a lot of time trying to decide where we were going to go. We were actually, which is weird.
So we were living in Nevada and we found a 40 acre off grid, the property that I had our own power our own well, I mean, it was so awesome.
It was a huge place. And so we made an offer. They accepted it. We opened this grow and we were waiting for Escrow to close.
And so we went to visit my daughters in New Mexico. And while you know, just waiting for Escrow to close.
And then we were about five, five days, I think from the closed date. And that's when this is in 2020. This one, COVID, the whole thing hit and the world shut down.
And if people didn't know all the banks, all the stuff, everything, they closed every single deal. So like all real estate agents, you know, we're turmoil because all of their deals that they had pending the clothes, they just, they fell out of escrow.
And then later months later when we could reopen it, nobody knew what the heck was going on. And so of course, being around my daughters, my wife and I decided to just wait it out to see you. You know what happened until we leave them.
And then we kept on looking and looking and when it finally got better, then we were looking at Tennessee and my wife, we reminded her of actually where she's from in the, in the, in the Alps in Germany, you know, just a real small village. So that's what we got here.
Were you able to get that 48 years back? We're open that deal.
No, no, that was out in Arizona that we were looking so, you know, it is what it is. So you know, it's what, what are you going to do? We're supposed to be we're going to be, you know, it's all in God's hands.
Here we are. And we actually super lucky are our church that we found happens to be right up the street from us and we're out in the middle of nowhere like to have a church out here.
He just wouldn't put it, you know, out, out, out where we are and they ended up being, you know, really sweet people. And so anyway, here we are loving it out in the middle of nowhere hard to find us, which I wanted it to be that way.
Yeah, there's nothing like living in the country. I've done the city thing. I've done the HOA thing, you know, and but now I live in a wooded area and see wildlife most every day and no cars or sirens. And it's just so peaceful and I wouldn't trade it for anything.
Right, right. We had to go pick up my body. They came out because he bought a house out here. So we had to go pick him up at the airport in Nashville.
Oh my gosh, what the stress of that, you know, and I've lived in big cities, but I was just like, get me out of here. I can't do it. Nashville is you can't even recognize Nashville from like 10 years ago to now. It's all higher rises. It's just another city.
Yeah, I was in Nashville. What was a couple of weeks ago when I was traveling at the airport and stuff and they had a guy playing a guitar at a restaurant there and it was a nice airport. I'll give it that.
Yeah, nights, I guess if you're in it and just going somewhere, not nice if you're trying to pick somebody up. It's just bad.
But less is best sometimes. Seems like older, I get the less drama, you know, just just whatever is easier and more laid back. I kind of fall into, you know.
Yeah, I know. Well, I want to bore people with all this kind of stuff. I know people come here to, I guess, share information or what now we have the election right around the corner.
I don't know if people have voted early. My wife and I we don't we vote on the day of voting. You know what I mean? So, I know people want to talk about those kind of things, but.
I see Jen came in here. So again, to remind people that just coming in Marlin is out at sea for today and tomorrow. So you're kind of stuck with me hosting for him.
So if you have something important to tell us, I know there's lots going on. I saw that horrible plane crash in Florida. That was, you know, a heavy audio from the poor lady. Oh my gosh, it was horrible.
It was so bad. It felt so bad for obviously her and the other pilot and obviously the passengers and her family and just they hear her voice. You know, it was just her last few moments, you know.
And it was bad. Yes, it was. Jen was here. Now she's gone. Hi, Loleen. Oh, Jen is back. Hopefully you guys can hear us. We're sitting here talking. We all have speakers and stuff, but hopefully down below, you all can hear these spaces. You never know what's going on all of them these days.
They've been a little quirky to say the least last week or so for sure.
Yep. Like I said, the internet's under under fire right now. There's there's a lot going on that people are realizing.
But you'll see if you haven't noticed on your phones and any absence of tons of updates constantly be thrown out there because they're going to stay ahead of what's going on.
I suspect that some of the conservative leaning sites are probably spaces are probably experiencing some tactical deal for folks.
The ones that are on the left are probably doing pretty good.
Right is right. Right. You're going to do all three. Good morning, Mad Dog.
Morning, my friends. How are you this morning?
I'm just shooting a breeze talking about living in a big country. Talked about the Bible, you know, just normal thing.
Trying to stay away from politics, but I'm sure you'll throw some politics.
And not necessarily. That was a great space Saturday. Thank you for that. I really enjoyed that.
