AI 内容摘要

**Overview:** The hosts discuss whether Americans are too hard on their political leaders, agreeing that expectations are often unrealistic given the complexities of government. They explore how leaders overpromise and underdeliver, the problem of expecting government to "take care of us" rather than create opportunity, and how disinformation makes it impossible to even agree on basic facts. **Key points:** - Expectation management matters: politicians who oversell and underdeliver inevitably disappoint, while underselling and overdelivering would build trust. - People often place unrealistic hopes and dreams on politicians, forgetting that government’s role is to run the country and enable opportunity, not to provide wealth or act as a caretaker. - Leaders aren't omnipotent — even a president like Trump faces a process, Congress, and messy realities that make simple promises hard to keep. - Because Trump lost in 2020, the public gets 12 years of him (as president and candidate), causing fatigue and reinforcing overly sharp criticism. - On issues like the war, communication has been poor, but it's hard to judge success in the middle of things when we don't have full ground truth. - Many problems (e.g., government spending) existed long before Trump, so blaming him for every issue is unfair and unrealistic. - The deeper problem is that we can no longer agree on objective facts — real information vs. disinformation — making policy debate nearly impossible. **Conclusion:** We should hold leaders accountable but recalibrate our expectations to what's actually possible — and focus on restoring shared truth before demanding perfection.

Welcome to the conservative actions had welcome to the circus. Love that song five finger death punch If you're wondering how it is that I run so many miles it is listening to music like that That is like an absolute energy boost here and that's Chris knows. He has something like that It's like man. I'm about to crush something But today I wanted to talk about are we too hard on our leaders? It's something that someone posted and it really made me think There is a lot of nuance that's involved in government and I do think sometimes I think we are probably A little bit to I'm not gonna say the word I was thinking of But it begins with the day and ends with no I'll just say we're too anal about things pause I know but is it in our expectations actually realistic Considering what it is that we're actually facing as a nation and I think sometimes some of the stuff that all of us have thought and even said Might be I think a bit unrealistic based off of our current circumstances So I definitely wanted to talk about that and of course any weird crazy things that you're all gonna talk about We'll probably give that a role as well because that's what we do brother beach. How are you doing today? I am wonderful and I appreciate it. I think it's interesting Concept for today. I think it's a great idea. I think there's there's definitely to be said I will just say that you know a good thing as a manager of any sort is a thing called expectation management So you know, there's that whole idea of undersell and over deliver If you do that people aren't gonna be too upset. They'll be excited But if you oversell and under deliver then by their very nature they're going to be disappointed Well said brother brother Chris. How is it out there in Vegas? Actually cooler today we have some monsoons coming in so it's not running hard, but it's sprinkling a little so We do guess we do get water in the desert sometimes So it's like three degrees then yeah exactly. It's probably like 93 degrees, but that's actually it was a really good guess Which is still cool for us this time here because it's you like 114 but on this topic. Yeah, interesting topic I I agree with a lot of what Beach said I Think the problem is is you have to understand what a politician's role actually is understand their position when we put our hopes and dreams into these people Like they're supposed to provide us wealth and take care of us It's where everything goes wrong, right? And that's the problem with a lot of the youth nowadays They see the government as a way to take care of them Versus the government in running the country and allowing them to have the opportunity to be successful They want the government to take care of them and that's always a bad situation that leads the bad things and societies that we've seen over time So it's kind of where I'm out on this should be interesting topic of course We can talk about tons of so much crazy shit Tyler Robinson video that was docked docked that can't us was Manipulated all the other stuff you guys want to chat about that come on up. Let's have a conversation That damn can this go ahead Cassie. How are you doing today? I'm doing good. How are my beautiful people today? Wonderful awesome. I Wanted to thank Jay for a post he made and speaking truth and and In defense of someone I consider a very good friend But I think I just wanted to thank him and let him know that that meant the world to me Thank you I thought you were gonna bring up the title she said she saw the title once you wanted to say pause And that made me giggle a little yes, and then you added the anal to it that made it So this stuff that we hear from people is it's like you're expecting the sun the moon and the stars and it's like The best you're gonna get in eight years is you know, hopefully they don't completely wreck everything is just I mean, I'm joking of course, but it's like I think sometimes I think we're expecting a bit much And I do think that they do like be said they do promise too much and maybe they need to say less and then deliver more But this isn't like this isn't just this isn't a party thing. This is kind of our leaders and it's like Because I look at my local leaders who I don't particularly care for and I look at I look at the landscape of where we live and The my biggest issue is With what you have you're not doing enough now that's one thing Because this is the thing that really bothers me about what government has become all of us that are in our fifties or younger You do realize that at one point government functioned with less money and they were still able to you know Keep the trains moving all the other stuff But now when you look the amount of money that they spend is ridiculous and the result is garbage but Still you have to say some of it there is some nuance to it because just because Donald Trump is president doesn't mean I say it Therefore it is there's another process that's involved and as we know our Congress is not the best But it's just not as simple as this is what my agenda is this is what I want and this is how I'm gonna get it done Those are nice things to say but you then actually have to do it and I think sometimes And I've know I've done this too Sometimes we've made and part of it is because Trump's Trump situation is a little unusual in that most presidents we get eight years of them They're gone but because you lost in 2020 we get we're gonna get 12 years So you've heard him for 10 years so and let's be honest technology has changed so by now most of us are just sick of hearing his voice but in reality when we look at the things that People expect I do think some of it may be too much and I do think that on on like I don't want to talk about a Ram but I will say this for the war. I do think some of this is It's very hard in the middle of something to see the finish line and to know what's gonna happen to get to the finish line And a lot of the stuff that I hear and all this have heard too is just like man We're not really good. We may not even know the answer then to the question of whether this was a success or not and I feel like on the war and I've done it myself and yes the communication has been bad But at the same time all you have is What's happening on the ground and we don't know what that is we don't know what that looks like and things change Missing creep as beach and others are said but it's like Sometimes people have it seems like Donald Trump is the foil for every fucked up and horrible thing that's happened in America is happening in the world That's the part that's way too much because as we know We had problems before Trump came down escalator We had problems before look George W. Bush was president We've had problems for a while and one of them is the government spending too much money But I think the other thing too is I think the other thing is with us I think our expectations haven't been met But I also think at times they've been a bit unrealistic. I'm show so glad that old birdie is coming up His birdie's one of the people that I would like to talk to because he's someone like myself that is definitely a critic of the president I'm curious though. Do you think that we are too hard on our leaders? Falcon or do you think we need to be even harder still? I don't think the leaders are the problem. I think the inability to Decide for what disinformation is versus real information is the problem now Please elaborate because I don't disagree necessarily can't you give me like an example? Yeah, I mean we're no longer fighting over policy. We're fighting over Actual facts. I mean we can't even we can't even decide if the people in Minnesota were eating the pets, you know, I get more people who argue that the pets were really getting eaten You know like I'm not even joking. I wish I was joking So we can't even argue over like What's going on if if it's so if they're so good at creating information that we have to fight about for months How do we get to like fight about policy or you know how to what do we do about this problem if we can't agree that The actual problem is something that's real that's that's That's where I think it is is is I think Trump is unfortunately, you know I you know anti-Trumper because I just think he's incompetent But I think that the real root of it is okay so information's now being attacked and We can't have anybody be the arbiter of what real information is because that would kill the first amendment What do we do? What do we do right you guys have lost faith in the mainstream media At the Falcon Institute, you know, we used to help people who were scared of spiders Now we're trying to help people that are scared of facts And we've learned that the facts are coming through the mainstream media So we're trying to help these people along And introduce some facts to you so that you know eventually you're no longer scared of them But it's hard work hard work over here The Falcon Institute that that was glorious Brian. I'm not gonna lie Go ahead christen and beat 12 plates, sir Well, the first of all the media is not the beacon of truth and that's the issue There was a time but not anymore I do agree with you on some certain certain things I think the biggest problem is that people don't even understand policy anymore People don't understand economics people don't care about spending people don't care about any of this crap And the thing is are so laxed as you own our lives because they just want everything to be ran The all they care about is the social issues It's still social issues that seems to get people to the ballot these days. It's the Screaming about trans and school and I'm not saying these aren't valid things to be upset about but when that's the only thing You're upset about like which party is like doing this and this and that we don't even talk polls anymore Don't and people don't understand it and that's the biggest problem to me And until we fix that you're gonna have a weak voter base on both sides They're just gonna get played when it comes to social issues should be an important part of your voting thing It should not be the only thing you vote for especially when it comes your local communities and school boards and stuff It's getting ridiculous, but that's politics. That's where we're at in this time I thought that's great answer Chris go ahead beach Yeah, no, I mean I was agreeing with with Brian there There there is definitely a problem and I've said it before that when people do not know what truth is Then how are they supposed to discern what's right and what's wrong beyond that you have other You know foundational issues and one of the biggest things is the populations under lack of understanding the role of government government was never meant to be a babysitter not necessarily where people are are free and have individual rights because with those rights comes responsibility You know if you want to have be able to do all these things Then it's on you to free can pay the way So what we have is a bunch of people that wants a lot of things but don't want to pay for it And then of course you have a bunch of politicians that are more than willing to promise you that's exactly what they're gonna do You know they build large programs to To do these things But these programs are garbage on their face But then like anything in the government once it is built it doesn't go away And those are some of the biggest reasons why you see that Yeah, we had a much smaller government in the past and thing you know Nothing ever got done perfectly But we're like you know We were able to do the same things for for half the price or a third of the price to what we do now Obviously inflation is a thing But it seems like we're getting a lot less even you know in normalized dollars than what we used to pay for What's because there's a whole lot of crap that's nothing more than than slogans and then whether it's a government and worker or an NGO Or something else that we just throw money at Where it's it's not an essential function of government. It really has very little impact But it costs money and But this all comes back to the fact that people want to be cared for But they want to be adults at the same time And if any of you ever had teenagers or maybe some of you young adult children that are like Um, I'm an adult. I can do this this this this and then they still say by the way kind of 20 bucks to go do it dad It's like it doesn't work that way. So you know When you start adulting then you can start doing those things the same thing goes with government When you can start being the individual and be a response for yourself Then you can have what you want the government's not there to give it to you It's there to ensure that nobody can prevent you from doing it under your own accord Well said brother. Well said david welcome. What you got forced brother? All right I'm fantastic man. It's been a while You're asking if are we Too hard on our leaders that I would say no given that you called them leaders I mean in what giant quest are we going on if you're I never understood the concept of the leader of the free world You know like is this is this Lord of the Rings are we are we all going somewhere? Is this a cult now of course if you are truly free then you wouldn't need some clown To jump in front of you with a baton and say we're going in this direction. No, of course The quality of the civilization is not dependent upon the number of things you can vote on But the number of things you can't vote on and guess who understood this are forefathers So we say that That which is being led if we want to be generous about our so-called leaders Is totally different in character than what our forefathers imagined and and in the worst direction So no And we can see this in the past you know five ten years uh Basically our so-called leaders Veritably locked the civilization down and not just trampled on all of our rights but completely ignored them And what happened nobody went to jail these people are all criminals I mean they absolutely what they did wasn't just Ignimaneous I mean it was if another country had done that we would have considered to be immediate immediate active war Our grounds were in immediate action
