Yeah, it's up there already. Where? If you scroll up to the top of the screen. Uh, wait, the top of the screen. I got a balance book. Okay, I'm scrolling. If you get that, you'll be able to see the post. Okay, thank you. I'm looking, I'm getting all this other, oh, I got the contact thing. Oh, I'm joined. And then, okay, let me just join again. All right, all right, well, it's somewhere. I'm not on this. I'm not on X conversations much, but it's nice to be. So there's a link above our head. Oh, oh, oh, oh. That's a nest. So it'll say my name. It'll say replying to bridge to my, my hand. Oh, I see. Yes. I'll say pick up Alan's book. That's where your pick is. Oh, okay. I get it. I get it. I see it. I see that now. Thank you. And I'll also announce a couple of events I'm talking about. Yeah, we'd love that. I mean, there's more people showing up so I can wait. Yeah, we'll wait a little bit. But I could get well away to give a little background too. If you want, we'll just make small talk here. It just takes a few minutes for everybody to pour in. We're feeling pretty quick. So we're doing good. Yeah, it'll get fuller for sure. We're waiting on AJ's going to be here. Adam, he'll be here. And he said, oh, good. Adam, good for Adam. He is a good guy. Yeah. He's going to be working with Neil and me at the new living expo in Morin County in April. I hope everyone can make it. Oh, he had recommended I told him to do that. Yeah, thank you. He was talking to me about it. And I was like, he should totally do that with them. And then something else, well, I guess I can wait. But I'll tell you I'll repeat again. November 7th, I'm hosting a panel with Danny Sheehan and Steve Bassett in person in New York City at the New Life Expo. So if you want to see two of the great advocates of disclosure, I would. I would. I think three. I mean, well, those guys don't really get into the experience that much. I mean, Steve is open. They're both open to it. But their thing is legislation, which is important. In fact, you know, so it's all good. I'm just reading Hollywood's last Experiancer column on substack. It was good. Yeah, it's amazing. She's really wonderful. Really. Well, when the phenomena doesn't end, when the event is over, when the contact is over, that's like a really key point. It doesn't the phenomenon itself, the continuation of the phenomenon in someone's life doesn't end after the adoption or the contact. You hold that thought, Alan, because we're going to talk about that. That's one of the things that we're going to talk about that is on your list. And actually, I'll just go ahead and do my introduction for you now. And everyone can catch the replay of it if they want to hear it later. The people that come after that. But you guys, OK, so Alan is one of my favorite people. Thanks. I am totally parcel when it comes to Alan. We became friends about six years ago during our days. And really late nights, he used to stay up real late with me on Clubhouse. So that's how I know Alan. And we've become friends over the years. And something you guys may not know is, Alan is actually the reason I'm out here speaking in conferences and serving that part of my mission. So one of the things that he's helped me do, and Alan helps people all the time with all different things. He knows everyone. He always knows who to connect with. Who he's very much a bridge between the consciousness star seed, uphology communities, and always has been. He's been out here in the trenches, paving the pathway for everyone for decades, and has a very passionate heart about all of this. And he's helped me serve this part of my mission. But if you know Alan, you know he's been exploring the wild and wonderful world of consciousness and contact, experiencers for decades, right? And he's the creator and host of new realities. If you guys haven't heard of that, definitely go to YouTube and check it out. He's also the author of making contact. You can find the book above our heads if you want to support in that way and really support yourself. There's a list of all of his friends that he had write chapters in that book with him above our heads that you can read. And he's really brought some of the most incredible minds and perspectives into these conversations, brought them together to have the conversations. And Alan is so curious. He's such a passionate person. And he's always exploring what's possible. So when you hear him, he's got, every time you hear him, there will be a new concept, a new way of thinking about things. And he brings that, you bring that curiosity, Alan, to the table. And then you put it into words for everyone else and give us enough to think about and feel and feel into. And I always, always, always appreciate that. And tonight. Yeah. You're welcome. You're welcome. And tonight we get to explore some of all of that together. So I'm really excited. And Alan, welcome to We Are Experiences. Well, thank you. This is being recorded, I see. And can I get a copy and maybe put this on my podcast too? If I don't know if we can download recordings, but if we can, I will ask for a recording. Well, maybe I could record this on another. And it says if we can, I think. Yeah, this will be pretty quickly. Now I have those into a, yes, you can download more than two hours even. So yeah, that'll be available to you. You'll tell me how to do that. OK. I will get it to you. So it's simple. And all you have to do is transfer it to your own. It'll all be all set up. Oh, great, great, great. OK, so let's start the conversation. What would you want to begin? AJ showed up just in time. There he is. He's always here just in time. The guy, the guy himself, the man, the guy person. And that was Jenny, Alan. That's one of our other good friends. OK. Thanks. Nice community here. I appreciate everybody. We have a beautiful community. The first topic, Alan, is what happens to our consciousness when we experience contact? That's what you were just going to go into. And also after, right? So that's the first topic you wanted to go over. What happens to our consciousness when we experience contact? Well, yeah, I mean, people have talked about this a lot. I mean, I think one of the best people to listen to is Whitley Strieber. You should definitely get him on here. Because he is the deepest. I think he is the most experienced experiencer out there. He's the most lucid that I've met. I mean, there might be people that have really lucid. I'm talking about gray type experience with grays. But what happens to someone when they make, well, we know what, I mean, let's see, it's been shifting really. There's been, I mean, in my book, I qualify like the contactee from the Abducete. It seemed like there's, and the Abducete's, of course, had some traumatic experiences because, well, I mean, OK, I'll say, imagine you're, I'm not to this group, but I'm talking to regular people out there. I would say imagine if you're in your house, the doors are locked, the windows are closed, you're laying in bed, drifting off to sleep, and suddenly somebody's something that's the foot of your bed, that is traumatizing, even if you're open to the whole phenomena. And I think that trauma has to be worked through then, or at least dealt with, or realized somehow, and acknowledged. And so what people, and then, of course, there went, when the contact experience happens there, there's people's sense of reality, they're missing time, the distortions of space and time itself, the merging of objective and subjective realities start to happen. And that's traumatic, but the reason it's traumatic is because we live in this world under these assumptions that your consciousness is separate to you. That's your own inner space. And my consciousness is my own private world. So the phenomena, one of the things that's showing us is that's may not be true. People can come in, or things can come in, you get downloads, you get words, people channel. There's all sorts of things demonstrating the porous quality of consciousness. So that's the thing. People use that word consciousness a lot, but people have a very mediocre definition of consciousness. It's like just awareness. It's just my awareness of this. And in my PowerPoints, I say, I don't know. It lacks the visual here, but I said consciousness to most people is like the old telephone. It was hooked to the wall and how wire and the, it would only do one thing. That's what consciousness looks like to most people. But I come along, that's let's talk about that phone in the 70s, 80s. I come along and say, I have a phone that can take pictures, that can see movies. I can make airline reservation. I could do all these things with my phone. And if your phone, if your idea of a phone from the 70s, 80s, it's just something hooked to a wall in a room with a wire, you would say that's impossible. Phones can't do that. And here I am, you know, 20, 30 years in the future saying, well, phones are doing that. So the disconnect is the understanding of the equipment, the modification. So I use that to kind of make the analogy. People think consciousness is juxtapone thing. And it's not. It's an infinite amount of possibilities. This thing we're calling consciousness. We can remote you. We can remote you. Remote sense. We can get into other people's heads. We can't, if we learned how to do it, and they were open to doing that. Of course, there's a whole ethics behind that. But consciousness is yet to be defined as capacity to be the agent of, let's say, contact or more. Are you following me? Does this make sense? My 100%. And I love your analogy. It's hilarious, first of all. My dad had the first phone in a car. And it was like a giant box thing that had a cord. And then he had the first cordless cellular phone. And it was like a brick with a big huge antenna. So I love that analogy. It's better when it shows slides because it's funny. Especially people who remember the dial. The dial. We are actually moving. Oh my gosh. I mean, I grew up with that. Pretty excited. I said, oh, I want a dial. I want to call. I just remember thinking when it was really young. I want to use that machine. So I don't know. People born in the less maybe, and after 2000, no idea what those phones looked like or were. Or it's like, for us maybe, Bridget, looking at those phones on the wall with the two pieces. You have the one in your hand and the one you're talking into. The only reason I know what that looks like is because my grandma had one. It was not connected to anything. But I remember her telling me stories about it. And then she said, we like pictures. I've like, be in a switchboard operator. Right. So that's how I know about that stuff. Right. So look how far we've evolved. So I think we have to evolve consciousness even further. We don't even know the capacity of this thing that we are. I mean, it's hard to define it because everyone uses that word like its God or like this. I don't think we have yet to come up with a real definition of this thing called consciousness, am I consciousness? Or do I have a consciousness? So I'm not saying I have an answer for that. It's when new words come into the culture, it takes a while for it to find its place of meaning. And I think that's what we're playing with with this word here, consciousness. Because it means everything and maybe even nothing to us. And of course, you can't even talk to someone who doesn't have an idea what it is, what it might be. So anyway, consciousness is key. And I always say this. This is my favorite quote by John Mack. I knew John Mack. He was a brilliant, brilliant guy. I hope everyone knows who John Mack was. And if you don't look him up, he was the psychiatrist. He was the Harvard Psychiatry Department started to talk to experiences and say these people aren't crazy. They're having a real experience. Something real is happening to them. And of course, Harvard tried to get rid of him. They said, you can't say that in an institution like Harvard. And that's where Danny Sheen came in the picture. And he stood up for John as a lawyer, as a constitutional lawyer, who said, John has a right, freedom of speech, to express how he feels. And so anyway, I think John Mack still plays a really key role in the whole world of experiences. I recommend his book, Updouchon. And I've just been rereading it. It is so brilliant. I'm sure people know about that, right? Well, I recommend your book, Ali. Oh, your book, who has John Mack in it. That is one of my favorite chapters. Wow. Yeah. Thank you, because I knew John. And of course, he died an accent in England, whatever happened. I mean, it wasn't conspiracy, I think he truly, but anyway.
