because of huge booths.
Yeah, I mean, it's a convention.
I'm sure it'll be kind of more hopping tomorrow
but they're just sort of setting up the booths.
And then I look at the main floor,
which is kind of odd because normally you kind of have
these sort of like an auditorium style, right?
Where you have seats and you're looking at a state.
This one is more like round tables
and it almost feels like it's a bar mitzvah, you know?
You're gonna go to the women's table?
Are you gonna do the scavenger hunt?
Okay, do you know where the women's table inches?
Do you want me to put it in the nest?
I'm putting it in the nest.
What's in the nest?
I mean, there's some woman who might want to know.
I came, I flew with Terrance, he was on my flight.
And then Tiffany is here.
So we shared a cab with Tiffany, an Uber.
And so she's here.
There's a lot of people here.
There's gonna be a lot of people here.
Tomorrow night, tomorrow night at the higher Regency,
five to seven, 30.
It's an in between, it's an in between, you know,
you don't miss it.
It's the woman in between meet up.
I'm posting it now.
Well, I'm here with the strategy.
These are the only important ladies.
I don't know why he's crashing it
but you know, he's crashing it.
No, it's advocates.
No, every woman's event is advocates of women
and the advocates of the women
which are the people who pay the bills.
That's the whole point.
Oh, you see what I mean?
We need someone to pay for the next meet up.
You got it?
That's advocating for the next meeting.
I got it, I got it, I got it, I got it.
Everyone gets a part of supporting women
and I every single dish in other lives.
You got it?
Who should do the number?
I did see the panties for best point.
Jump out girls.
They have a workbook.
They have a workbook.
Is the premier sponsor is jump out girls.
Okay, cool.
Where's the men support group?
There was none.
And to providing everything, count for nothing.
There is no men in the tank.
Yeah, then your grandmothers could pay.
We have, how about boomers?
No, no, you're not a boomer.
You're a Gen X but white men in Bitcoin.
How about that?
That's the most hated group in the world of all time.
I mean white men in Bitcoin, I mean, come on, man.
Hey, Puncher, did you ever watch married with children?
Oh, yeah.
Remember the group they had?
It was called No Maim.
I think it was No Maim.
It was Owl and the Guys.
It was just the name group against women.
I don't know if you remember that.
I remember it.
That was funny.
I don't know if you remember that.
It doesn't have WMAB.
It doesn't sound good.
It doesn't even have a nice jingle.
Like, wasp is better.
White angle, sex and perspitarian male.
Like, that's a wasp and that's category.
But it's not a category that's exists.
So I say, when did providing everything start to camp for nothing?
Why would you say that?
Who talks to you like that?
Because white men throughout history
have pretty much provided everything.
I don't know if you're joking or if you're being cynical.
Dead balls on serious.
Yet we're the most hated group and we're
the most discriminated against.
There are actual balls on the book against us.
OK, do you want me to say a little bit about Puncher?
You're right, bro.
Do you want to share the exact same thing?
They're all the great things that the get a paralegal.
Get a paralegal.
Let's sort it out right now.
Parallegal.
Why would I need a paralegal?
Because if you want to make change
and something that's discriminating on you in the legal code,
then you have to get a paralegal.
See, there's the thing.
We don't give a shit.
We still overcome and adapt.
That's the thing.
We don't overcommon and litigate.
We just go wild.
We bear up and provile.
Why not litigating?
The man provides.
Period.
OK.
Power to the people, Puncher.
Power to the people.
Oh, shit.
Just go to the meeting, professor.
I want you there and I want you to have a lemonade with it.
But don't put merch.
Don't eat merch.
You know, Terry's, please.
So the other thing going on, there's
another conference in New York, the treasury conference.
And that's also exactly the same day.
Mark Moss was on our flight, not on our flight,
but he was like right in our area,
and he was going to that conference.
There's multiple conferences right now.
And there's another one that I heard of that's coming up
in February.
I don't know if anybody's going to it.
It's called the sovereign conference in Miami.
So put that one on your radar too.
Ew.
Who's hosting?
No, depends on who's hosting.
Miami sounds disgusting.
But it depends on who's hosting.
It's at the bottom.
It's at the bottom.
And Fontan Blow has a hotel.
And I know Saylor, Natalie Brunel, and Terence are involved.
Oh, that even though it's Tuthacween.
Natalie Brunel is the queen.
If anyone is a queen, it's the Brunel of the Natalie.
And I've never had a matter.
No, I didn't.
I think I saw her across a room, but I didn't actually
ever touch her face.
That didn't I wear touch her face.
I'm just sorry.
I mean, shake her hand.
Well, I think you need to, I think the words you're looking
for are we're not worthy.
We're not worthy.
We're not.
I think it's the, I'm just going to have nothing
in Fedoming Conference.
No, no one does drugs.
It's pure, it's pure things.
Yeah, pure things.
Fred, you're given one of the early talks.
What track are you in?
Main track.
I'm out the, you know, the main, the main Bar Mitzvah stage.
But yeah.
Are you like the one of the, you're, I think I'm the first one
of the first ones, you know, like I think they're
interesting.
Do you want to see how specific I'm going to Bar Mitzvah?
Professor, I could do that.
No, I could.
Yeah, I did feel like it's like a ballroom or something, you know,
like, not really barmitz, but
why don't you be like a real estate conference, you know,
like, you know, something like you'd see in the big short
or something, you know, one of those kind of deals.
Real estate agents are sharp.
Right.
What's your, what are you going to talk about?
Like give us a broad stroke.
Well, I got a presentation.
It's all made.
My main, my main thing is to be under 20 minutes.
That's my number one problem.
So I got to go fast.
I have, you know, like 40 slots.
OK, what's the title?
What's the title thesis?
30 seconds.
Bitcoin, 1 million.
That's my title thesis, you know.
So that's, you know, I basically coming in, I'm going to say I'm going to prove
I'm going to try to convince you of three things.
And because I was told this once that I went to this, I get invited to this conference
called demo.
Does anybody remember that?
I don't know, probably not.
But it was a really big deal in the Bay Area in the 90s and early 2000s.
But demo, Chris Shipley organized that out.
And it was, you know, they invite a bunch of tech companies, you know, new tech companies
to go to demo.
And you could demo your blood.
And it was a kind of a big deal.
So they had, they, they, they set you up with the coach before the, before the demo.
They said, we want to kind of review your pitch.
And we're going to improve your pitch.
So I remember this woman said to me, so Fred, there's
always, you always have to do the best presentation.
You say, I'm going to present three things during this conference.
I'm going to present to you one.
I'm going to present to you two and I'm going to present to you three.
And then you go one in order.
First, I'm going to present one that I'm going to present to that I'm going to present
three.
And then at the end, you do a recap, one, two, three.
That's it.
So I'm going to use that same formula.
Hey, Fred, what in, in your put notes, what does a cheeseburger cost at Bitcoin 1 million?
And my foot notes that Bitcoin 1 million, a cheeseburger, what's it cost today?
But I'm not really familiar with that.
That's what kind of burger you got.
Probably I'm in a state of $15 for a good cheeseburger.
15?
Absolutely.
You better rest out.
I'm going to be in a 15 much.
I would say double was kind of my gut feel.
I don't think cheeseburgers are going to go up that much in, in, in, you know, in the,
in 10 years, you know, that's kind of my gut in nine years.
I don't think, I think cheeseburgers are the least of your problems.
That's a rough pacing inflation, I guess.
It's the question.
Why do you think that there's all kinds of different inflation, right?
Primus is, you know, Bitcoin's going to a million.
And by Bitcoin, puncture, I mean, DTC, not your Blake to be coin.
Okay.
Bitcoin's going to a million.
And that's my first point.
My second point is that in 10 years, my second point is that no other asset class is going
to do a 10 X in 10 years.
No other ask.
Like, you put your money in stocks, you put your money in real estate, in gold or in bonds,
you will not, you could do okay.
You're not going to do 10 in 10 years.
Bitcoin will.
And my third point is right now is a great time to buy Bitcoin.
So those are my three points.
And I'm going to go three.
So that's it.
I think that's a reasonable hypothesis.
You buy the, Bitcoin's going to go up 10 X in 10 years.
Well, technically it's more than 10 X, right?
But yeah, I mean, do you think it'll go to a million within 10 years?
I mean, it doesn't have to be exact.
I do.
Yeah, I do.
I actually do.
Yeah, that's what I think too.
And I think, you know, listen, I think most people, at the end of the day, we're all,
we're all focused on the short term.
Like what Bitcoin is going to do next week, this year, et cetera.
But, you know, for those of us who have held it for a long time, you know, we know the
power of it.
And I think, you know, at the end of the day, you know, we're talking about Terrence
is sort of like, if you really believe in this asset, your kind of, your works cut out
for you, you know, you don't really need to do anything.
You just need to believe, right?
If you believe, you don't need to improve the performance, you know, 10 to 13 X, they'll
be just fine.
You know, what's the need to try to tweak that?
None.
There's no need, you know, so that's my view.
Well, I would say, you would say it was an asset class, sorry, Fred.
Yeah, asset class.
I mean, I mean, individual stocks, you know, individual distressed debt, maybe, you
know, whatever.
But, you know, I think you have to look at these things on an asset class basis, you
know.
But it's a single, so just to play devil's advocate, some people would say that it's a
singular asset inside of the asset class of crypto, which is not your thesis.
It is not my thesis.
I think crypto, I actually don't think crypto is an asset class.
I really don't need their stuff.
I don't know.
A lot of them.
I've got mud by thinking crypto is an asset class and I need to index to crypto just in the
same way that stocks are an asset class, so I need to buy the index, right?
And you know, bitwise has an index fund, which I actually own still, you know, they have
an index thing.
And I bought it at a really big discount.
It actually did pretty well.
But I don't, I don't think Bitcoin, I don't think crypto is an asset class.
That's my view.
I think Bitcoin is the asset class crypto is not an asset class.
Yeah.
I do think you can make an argument that Bitcoin is both an asset and an asset class.
And you know, it's probably not, I'm laying that out as a supposition, but I think a lot
of people would say, no to that.
They would say, no, it's part of the crypto asset class.
We're not saying that.
So say gold, gold is not an asset class, right?
You could say, I need to be indexed to all precious metals, gold, silver, palladium, platinum,
right?
Yeah, I think that's probably an analogy to say gold is a precious metal, but it's a
class in and of itself.
I think seems true with Bitcoin.
Our path to one million is the thing that's interesting to me.
Whether we believe it's going to go to a million and ten years or not, I would say yes, if
I had to guess, and I would say it's the most likely to ten acts.
If you had to bet one thing, that's what you bet on.
But the path from here to there is what's interesting is, how do we get there?
And what does it look like?
And what happens to the rest of society, the rest of the financial markets?
Because nothing happens in a vacuum.
Yeah, but I don't think.
Yeah, I agree to almost, but it probably doesn't need to be that much happens, right?
Dark, what's up, man?
I like that discussion.
Do you think the Swiss Frank is an asset class?
Or is it a currency?
It's a currency.
Yeah, see, to me, Bitcoin's a money.
It's a currency.
It's not a commodity.
I know the CFTC calls it a commodity so they can regulate it and trade futures.
But to me, it's a money.
And I think, what you call cash and asset class?
No.
I would call cash and asset class.
Right.
Which is a sort of short term money market.
Yeah, but that's right.
But that's the class that generates a yield from a bank.
Because there's a lot of component parts to that.
You wouldn't just hold cash.
Well, certainly bonds are an asset class, right?
Correct.
So there's a hundred dollar bill an asset.
