I mean is he gonna be able to mold these guys that Historically being from Europe aren't that physical defensive type of player into the mold of you know What he's known for what he's been doing specifically the last two years with St. John's I'd love to get your opinion So here's here's the thing here's the thing we're talking about a guy who is in his 52nd year of coaching basketball 52nd year I'm not gonna start doubting him now and When you think about what he's done over the course of his career Rick Patino has more than proven that you give him a matter of days Weeks with a group of kids he's gonna get them playing together and he eventually is gonna get them to defend Are we gonna start doubting a guy who's 36 and 4 in the Big East regular season the last two years Combined that with the conference championships and the tournament. He brick patino is 42 and 4 in his last 46 big east games 42 and 4 folks He has no misconference the last two years that is a fact and I think he's longer on the perimeter here. I mean I think he injects an intune s's for gonna cause problems with how they can Both scored and how they can defend Yes, the food could be a lottery pick You know he's a he's a really dynamic and talented player Alice is a better point guard than what they have last year St. John's didn't have good point guard play for the majority of last season Against nothing against Dylan darling, but he would deliver spurts. He would deliver spurts They overcame not having a great point guard In terms of the front court Ruben Prey you know, it's his time. It's gonna be call upon we'll see about Baba Kar Sanne and what he's able to to do for this St. John's team Lefty Leotopolis is back You know and and I think that this is a team that I don't know why we would start to question patino's ability to get a team to play together and to defend Um, are there a lot of new pieces? Sure Sure, but they're a photos and if Keeshawn Hall's good to play you're talking about an experienced Versatile player who's tough and hard-nosed and you know, he knows the SEC level so I think you'll fit right in the biggies So I think St. John's is set up could they go through some early growing pains for sure But that's why you schedule and the way they're scheduled in line So they're gonna start with mom if I own a coal gate then Syracuse and then Sienna before they go to the players era They got a nice players there a draw They're gonna play an organ team that has Tony stubble feel as their head coach Not nothing against Tony, but the the cards are stacked against organ Yeah, definitely so then you have Louisville or Texas tech hard game. Guess what? That's why you play in the players era It's in the same John's fan. I'm fired up. You're gonna have the players there before you host Arizona You should be circling December 5th and saying how do we get that game against Arizona? Do you think that all the players will be eligible? I mean, how do you think this is all gonna shake out and also like what's the timeline?
