Or it's just going to stay very thin in this AI trade and maybe that's what we're looking at here a very very thin trade
Yeah, it seems like there is a little bit of the shift inside of the AI side of things
There's been a couple of also really interesting headlines today and
One thing that I'm also seeing that's I mean
I was really reading about this more thoroughly across the weekend, you know doing a lot of
Space research person, but it really seems like people are concerned about
Some of the rising costs that some companies like ASTS is about to see
In the space side of things and it seems like also
Most of the concerns were really seeing kind of trickles down towards that ROI side of things would you would you agree with that one?
Yeah, I would I think you know everybody's concerned. This is going to have a huge effect, but I think everybody forgets is that
You know these companies that are spending this money. Yeah, interest rates are hard. They just don't care
They'll keep burning if they think they're going to make it back 10 times over and I think that's what's going on here
I think they just don't care now if you're a small company. This is killing right these rates are going to kill you
If you if you're the United States government, you're trying to refine your debt. This is going to cost us a heck of a lot more money
But you know
It is what it is
Yeah, I think I'd have to agree there
Definitely would be costing so a lot more in the future and especially of a certain side of things
um
You know, I'm just going to talk about a couple of other interesting things that I saw today kind of
unrelated towards the bond market
But um we saw that 56 million dollar order come in for on us which I thought was pretty cool
We also saw citizens upgrade on us they gave them an outperforming a $14 price target which I thought was relatively interesting
We saw Microsoft also get
uh, yeah, it can't move right and this is I I own on that so I'm talking as a a stockholder who's on the water and unhappy
I don't know what it's going to take to move this name at this point. It just seems for whatever reason
Everything gets sold on it
You know, I got to say I'm a stockholder also. I'm not necessarily under water um, I have a good average on this name
But the amount of acquisitions that this company has made this year in reflection to the price and we can even go with in reflection to the volume
It seems extremely light. It seems like they're moving very fast
But the thing that I really like you know is they're really expanding into four different defense markets
And they're really like that
Originally if you bought this stock you know two years ago
You're kind of looking at this as a defense in a public safety and maybe a post-conflict cleanup name
But now you're looking at this they're they're all over homeland security
They're all over the critical infrastructure market and you know
They're also using drones in the industrial side of things as well
So I mean, I think that with this rapid scale of acquisitions that we're seeing with on dust
I mean against my personal opinion is things might catch up
I'm just waiting on it. Obviously we know there's lots of catalysts in the air for this name
And it seems like they're doing well with the the European loitering munitions contracts right now
Which is pretty much where they're going to be buying up a bunch of drones to sit on and not necessarily use
But they want to just have them that's that that's what the exact definition of loitering munitions is
Just to clarify things so there's people that are stocking up on drones right now
Um
Which I find pretty interesting. So I'm keeping an eye on non-dust. I think it's going to be a very interesting name
warfare changed right
It's the the days of firing one point two to one point four million dollar cruise missiles is coming to an end
Cheap drones
Suicide drones is the way everybody's going to be going
So it's a total change in the game however things look at what's going on in our ran
They've done to us look what Ukraine has done to Russia. I mean, it's unbelievable
So yeah, I mean eventually you got to think it's going to catch up with them
So I just got to make one little correction there because it absolutely by the concept of it
It is a suicide drone, but um, I think the the recall one way attack drones
But um it absolutely sure, but that's what they really are right they they think they they go
And they you know, they're gone
They're dead. Yes one way attack drones, but
I'm a simpler guy sometimes. Yeah, so yeah, exactly. I agree
But I mean honestly, I'm watching this name. It seems like again one way of tact runs and you know
If we look at what's really happened and if we look at multiple conflicts right now, we can look at the
Middle Eastern conflict along with
The Russia Ukraine conflict and you're seeing drones dominate on both sides, you know in different areas of the world
So again, it really seems like the the warfare side of things is really going to pivot towards this drones and autonomous system side of things
So I really think that there's a lot of exciting things going on there. I'm really watching that name um
Another one that I'm finding interesting and it's getting a little bit more interesting to me as we continue through this unlocking phase is going to be SpaceX
Right, I know it's a interesting name to drop right now
But the thing is is we're going to be completely unlocked going in towards next year
Granted, there's still going to be lots of insiders holding and that's something to consider
But I think a lot of people are underestimating
um, the speed that SpaceX is about to ramp up on
SpaceX is expected to launch over 3000 rockets in 2031 and this is Starship rockets not Falcon rockets
So these are much larger rockets. This is a Morgan Stanley forecast by the way not my numbers
So I think a lot of people are really
Miss miss uh
Understanding the size and scale that is really going on to SpaceX now. I'm not going to say I'm jumping at it at these valuations or
Really anywhere near here, but again, this is something that's really heavy on the watch for me because again
We're seeing lots of developments going towards this it seems like the orbital launches are gonna really start into a closer towards
2029 so again in 2029
Well, it just did a new high of the day basics
Yep 16960
They must be hearing us that must be the case you listen to yeah exactly
You know but like again the thing is when it comes towards SpaceX and I'm just gonna pull one thing up to look at
But when it comes towards SpaceX another thing that I think people are really also not exactly looking at properly
Like I was saying. I'm sorry correct me on what I said 3000 launches 2031 forecast is
3964 launches we're looking at a thousand six hundred eighty four and twenty thirty
172 and 2029 so there's expected to be a massive jump once that orbital data center
Plans really kick in and there's plans for lots and lots and lots of launches
So we're looking at it and comparing it towards what we're seeing this year this year
We're seeing 82% of their launches sitting at the consumer broadband
So they're really focused on building the connectivity side of the business right now
And it really seems like the orbital data centers and that side of things is a lot further ahead
um
But again
There
A lot a lot of things to talk about with this name
So again, I'm just looking at that more longer frame
But when I look at this on the short time short time frame
We're gonna see starlink come in 190 countries in the very short future
This is gonna really jump and their residential broadband subscriptions is gonna be able to pat climb past 800 million
That's a massive total addressable market especially when you consider
There's only two hundred and two countries in the world and if starlink is gonna be in 190
That means there's 12 countries where it's not a lot
Pretty interesting to think about but again, it really seems like it's really ramping up
We're currently around 40% on the last right now China
My guess would be China North Korea
Iran
I feel confident at least the fourth of the way there
Evan comes in and talks and ruins the conversation
No, no, no, no, no, what bad person uh that was I'm honest. I'm curious hold on. I'm out
See you there
Yeah, um Russia
Iran China, Belarus, Cuba, Afghanistan and I'm not seeing the rest of them at the moment
I'm gonna guess in North Korea though
I appreciate you gems for coming here and talking. I see logical down below as well
It has definitely been an interesting market. I will say when I like to look at the 52 week highs and 52 week low list as well
There's definitely been more names on the 52 week low list. Interestingly is interestingly as the market has continued to drive higher
I did only check through earlier this morning. I did see that rate to remove it higher again today
Even if even as market continued to move higher so yeah, the market does not seem to care about rates
Does not seem to care about rates
I have been a little bit surprised about how uh
SpaceX stock has been moving
I would have told you a couple weeks ago um it does seem like the
The first share unlock
Was pretty much the bottom for this one the day before the first share unlock
So I was in there getting a little bit scared about that seems to be the moment to be buying
Big fear
Yeah, I'm looking at rates in today too
They did give back a little bit so they came back down but still pretty elevated
They get rate talk weekly joining
Mr. Rates are you doing sir?
I was going on
DJ Woods down below as well. I'm excited to have him maybe up here
What's up Jay how you doing sir?
Hey, it's good to join you. I may have the hop real quick too
So I apologize and I know idea what you guys were talking about
ahead of time so if I I'm talking about whatever you want to talk about
Well, I heard SpaceX market and you were right about the lock up week being the load
Um, and I was lucky enough to buy it and then sold it after two days of holding
To lock into 20 point gain like an idiot. I still love it. I still
I just thought we would get another
retest of those lows it never happened and then
If you look at the average volume weighted price from the first trade and now from the lows and from the high
um, I mean this thing had a nice shelf which it took off from a couple days ago
I think 172 is is a no-brainer
Try it could be there now. I I saw it at 165 earlier today
um, but yeah of long term
This is just by put it away and um
Yeah, I'm pissing myself for trying to trade it and you know
What can you do? So uh, yeah, I'm up for talking about whatever you guys want to this market is uh
About to make new all-time highs
Not on my bingo card
Given where rates in oil are and all the term oil in the world and everything going on and the fact that
Ten of 11 sectors were down for the month of September, but
When the the max seven are breaking out to new highs minus Tesla uh and um, where have all google and amazon holding key levels
Microsoft breaking out on its road to new highs
Uh meta the one I've been totally wrong on uh just continues to climb higher it's
It's hard to fight it. It's too much too much of the index
So in video to me I was at an event with my friends in the cmt association and I was asked
What is the number in the market that will make me go bullish or what is the thing you're watching that makes me go bearish and
bullish was 240 in video
We get a 240 close. It's a clear breakout and now 235 could act as support on the way down
Upside targets from the nice rounded bottom base that we broke out 270
um
A and then you you look forget in video look at broadcom this one you know join the party come on the waters nice
It's uh, it looks like it's poised to you know go on that tailwind so we'll see it's it's an interesting week in that
There's no real data unless you count the bay uh the not the page book the fed minutes which I don't um and
um
Heck is breaking out so it's it's the momentum is there uh, you know
Just got a block out all the other stuff going on in the world and and you'll be fine
So those are those are what I'm watching the one concern areas financials those have rebounded nicely today as we go into earnings next week
But if you look at under the hood go in the sacks one of my biggest fold things Morgan Stanley um
They've broken down
They they're we're seeing a little relief rally in some of these names
But if you're getting relief rallies in these sectors that have been beaten down utilities are coming back
um
That relief rally with the technology continuing to go uh is enough to to get us on a nice rally and I have not been predicting that
I've been I've been somewhat bearish so
mostly we close a new highs
You know, but we haven't gotten confirmation
But the table is set for us to go uh higher and quickly higher as we go into these midterms and
Then you look at seasonals and yeah, everyone knows all the seasonal stats uh, uh, you know
We're in the greatest six month stretch. It's even stronger midterm election years. So uh
You know, we've we've got everything lined up the only expactor to me is uh Trump and uh, you know he
He's been known to kind of fly off the handle and start trade wars and you know go at fed presidents
But even he can't fight with these earnings. They're they're fantastic. So
It's hard not to be bullish even though um
I'm not really jumping out of my
Whatever I want I'm the man the charge if I want to say nothing
I'll say nothing if I want to say something I'll say it and if I say something bad
So be it well you got the president on the space. I had no idea
Yeah, sorry about him Jay. We don't normally let him talk in their guests
No, no, I'm sick of talking someone else talk to the love of Joe
I mean, you don't know he is the wild card and it's back against the wall in the midterms
And he's throwing everything he can at it, but you never know if it's going to be
You don't know if it's good or bad he seems to want to fire every fed president that didn't vote for
Uh, uh, the bottom for a rate cut
Didn't vote for ratehug, but I mean, how is he gonna do that? I don't know
Just he's going after Supreme Court just this is now it's still Jerome Powell, which is funny
But it's hard it's it's really challenging, but what I done and I I've been studying what happened and I we all most of us here
And you got a young audience have lived through 2018 in the midterms there
What happened after the midterms a historically strong part of the year Trump started to trade more with China all right now
We're fighting candidate in Europe and who knows what we're doing with greenland and the way
