I can't even know where the markets are going to open today and what they're going to do.
So I'll be honest, I'll be honest, I might like this so I'm back to bed for an hour in the morning.
And I went and picked up my kid and went to a park, picked up some leaves for a school project,
spent a little bit of time with them talking to them about the leaves, different types of leaves,
telling them about fall. And it was awesome. Instead of sitting around
recreation charts and arguing with people about what's happening, why it's happening,
and yaddy, yaddy, yaddy, yaddy, yaddy. So look, I'll also put out a post earlier today.
I want to try and focus on the positives, but I'm going to say this about tumors.
They're zero for seven this year. I can't remember the seven. I wrote it out at the time,
but something like quantum Iran, you guys get the picture. All the narrators of Golden Silver,
Diesel, world was ending. Well, we're halfway through October and the world hasn't ended yet.
None of those doom narratives have come true, bonds. Where's the 10 year going to go, man?
Last week, we wouldn't make it to the weekend. Everything was going to explode, man.
The comics was going to blow up. They said we couldn't make electric cars and solar panels anymore
back in the spring because there wasn't enough silver. Well, I don't care if it was AI or a prototype,
or what the hell that was, but that was a flying car. I saw last night. So whether it was some really
good shit with AI or some really good shit with a ridiculously expensive prototype, I don't care
what it was. I saw a car flying. So don't tell me we can't make electric cars and
innovate and continue to grow in the face of all your doom narratives. So look, I've always been
this way. I've been in my DMs today with a couple of people. Actually, one of the guys,
we had each other blocked back in the spring. I wouldn't say we've become friends, but we can
see the world in a similar way. So we talk on DMs sometimes. And we see things exactly the way I do.
It's like we all have control over how we look at these things, right? Everything's going to be
faint as long as you're allocated in the right places. And like to be honest, this space is about
Bitcoin, but I don't care where you're allocated as long as you think it's right for you.
And if you're convinced by it, you got to hang in there, right? You got to give the assets that
you believe in time to do what you think they're going to do. And not get shaken out in days like
today because there was a river graphic that came out, I don't know, but this week or last week.
And it showed, excuse me, it showed individual Bitcoiners have given up 93,000 coins this year.
Excuse me, that's in 2026 alone. So that doesn't even include the 10 weeks at the tail end of 25
when we were, you know, the early stages of the bear market, 93,000 coins given up from individuals.
Now myself and Joe on his space yesterday, was that his space yesterday? One of the spaces yesterday,
we can't disagree about why that was. Joe was making the case that, oh, that's a strategic
taken of profits, people who have realized games are getting out. I don't really think so.
Like, I don't think you waited through the tail end of 25 and then decided in 26. Oh, yeah,
I'm going to get out here. I'm going to get out at 90,000 when we were at 126. I think it's more
people got shaken out. That's the long and short of it. Now, you either got shaken out because you
thought you lost your conviction and Bitcoin completely. You thought it was going to zero,
it's going to fall apart, quantum, whatever. Or you fell for one of these narratives
that you could sell 80 or 90,000 dollar Bitcoin, wait until October and it would be on the discount
real for 40,000. So that didn't happen. So a lot of people then, it's very hard to get back in after
you've done that. And I know that because I held on the Apple stock for 16 years, the entirety of
Steve Jobs, Herm as CEO, and I give Tim Cook about a year or two, but then I decided I didn't like the
cut of a Gib. It was too much of a bean counter. So sold my Apple stock. And there was enormous
gains still to come after I sold and I haven't bought Apple stock since. Very, very hard when you
sell something and you miss a rip upwards. It's very, very hard to get back in that train in a
lower class ticket than you originally on. So I think that's what happened to those people with
93,000 points. And it's not over yet. There's more people going to get shaken out, shaken out from
here on, which is even sadder if you've held on this long. Now you're going to get shaken out.
Just when we're coming into better times. So my message is always the same. Just there are no
models. There are like, there isn't, if you're looking around this app for the person that's going to
give you the alpha, when to buy the bottom and when to trim at the top, that person doesn't exist
because the moves that Bitcoin has made this year, nobody predicted them. Nobody predicted.
I came close in August, but then again, I'm always bullpussed and so you have to be right once.
But like George Noble was on that space in February, Fiskall for Bitcoin to go to 30 or 25. He actually
said it would go to zero on February, Fisk, when we were at 62,700. The very next day, Bitcoin bounced
$8,000. So he didn't know. And there's loads of examples. There's loads of examples where the
model is wrong, the influencers are wrong, everything you think you know about the market is wrong.
Like there's sometimes you hear about, you hear it, like back in the spring, you saw strategy start
the week off with 15,000, 16,000, 18, 20,000 Bitcoin purchase in one week and you see the price go down.
And then the flip side of that, everybody's talking about how Lord can go in the next thing,
it rips $25,000 or were two weeks. So this thing kind of has the life of its own. I don't really
believe that it's correlated with anything in particular. So to me, at least like I don't trade it,
I just buy it and hold it. If I feel the need to trade, I'll go out and trade in other things
where maybe you can predict a little bit more based on you know, earnings or whatever.
But Bitcoin, I guess my message is if you're in it, just hold on. And listen, this isn't alpha by the way.
You're going to get your chance at huge gains if you hold this thing for long enough. That's the only
thing I do know. If you hold this thing for, what's that stat? Nobody who bought Bitcoin and
held for four years ever last morning. That's a hell of a fact. So yeah, that's my message today.
Stay optimistic. Don't get shaken out. Don't listen to this bullshit. Bitcoin's actually holding
up pretty well. So let me get a word from my sponsor, Asteroid Radio. Beaming out the signals
across the universe. Let's see what he has to say for himself. I'm guessing he is pre-ordered at
least two roadsters already, maybe three. Let's see what he has to say for himself. Hey, Asteroid,
was that AI? Was that a car? What the fuck was that man? You're the Tesla OG. What the hell are
that? I have three words for you. You're running this? Yeah. Fuck George Noble. Yeah.
What a just old grumpy loser who actually sucks at managing portfolio. That's why he's selling
courses because he couldn't make it as an actual fund manager. He's been trying a short Tesla
for like 10 years. What kind of a loser is that? Yeah, but... Anyway, it's just saying...
It's funny how they only come out when everything's ripping. They're nowhere to be found.
And then there's a little bit of a tiny dip in all of a sudden. They're just running spaces
and exploding. And I'm like, what do you mean, exploding? You literally miss the every run-up
from every asset you've been short AI stocks Bitcoin for like three years. Like,
now you're gloating at like a 5% dip. Go fuck yourself, dude.
Yeah, but the point I'm making is he's invited. He doesn't just roll up a time. It's like that
Asteroid. He's invited by people that are famous. Because he has a big name from finale from the 80s.
Yeah. I don't give a shit. It's funny because people will bang on his performance and then he'll
post this ad from 1986. The number one fund, like for like one year, it's like, okay.
Yeah.
So anyway, I want to talk about this car. What the hell was that? You're the Tesla OG educated
a newbie like me. I watched that video and I was like holy shit.
Here's the thing about it. Okay, I'm a realist. You know me. I don't really get in the cults.
The thing about Elon is, this is what people like George Noble and all these old value guys don't
understand. He's probably the best salesman in the history of the world. Okay?
And he drives in sight, excitement of the stock and that's why the PE is always super high.
And like, that's just the reality. And so like he's better than you and so just deal with it. And he's
master of catching eyes and eyeballs and that's the worldly limit. Like, right? And that's why
the stock has the valuation is always extremely high. Because he's a master of like a media, right?
Like now we're going to talk about this. Everyone knows about this. You can people don't know what Tesla.
So it's like, will it ever be released in the road? Probably not. But, but is it pretty cool?
Yeah, right? Obviously it's not going to be street legal. I mean, it's probably the most impressive
product launch I've ever seen. Like if you aren't odd by that last night, like I don't know
what the hell is wrong with you. I'm sure you pull up a bear space or highlight. He did that,
but he's not going to do the robot dude. They're just so like, it's annoying because they're just so
negative about everything. It's like, what are you doing? You're in space is bitching about values
or text stocks like shot up. I would rather see a guy build a prototype for whatever the hell that cost
and spend 20 million on a, you know, super effects at a product launch that then to spend all day
every day on a space talking about the street of her movies. Right? Like, we should celebrate,
we should celebrate these. And I mean, so a lot of that's a concept or a prototype that cost
millions and millions and millions to build and will never be mass produced. And so what if
we're trying to pump the stock? We should. Yeah, but like to say it's sales. Like this is just sales.
I mean, but but it's sales. I like that type of sales asteroid because it's sales not based on
a spreadsheet or, you know, sales force. It's sales based on, hey, I'm the guy that can build
shit and make it happen. Look at this. And I like that type of sales. I love that. I must have
watched every angle 50 times last night. I was just like, holy shit, what am I watching? It's like,
because I grew up, everybody talks about the Jetsons. I grew up watching the Jetsons. I remember
back to the future coming out. Actually, the Delorean factory, they manufactured in Belfast,
Northern Ireland. The car that was featured in back to the future. Yeah. Yeah. And I saw one of them.
I was at a house once and there was one on a garage. And I loved that. I love the fact that people
I just think we should celebrate entrepreneurship, the vision, like screw the doom narratives
just build stuff. Like who cares if it's unaffordable? I like going to the cotton age and
flipping the bird to the usual narratives. And I think Elon kneeled that last night. Like in an
environment where people are saying, oh, bonds, oh man, natural damage. Oh shit. Everything's gonna
everything's gonna end like he comes out into the product launch like that. And I don't care if
it was the AI. I don't care. I don't care how you made that work. What a cost. I just think it was
awesome. Yeah. I'll probably buy some Tesla stock just because of that. I think it's gonna go
way higher over the next few years. What about the, how does that work in a world where they
marriage with SpaceX? Like, how does that work? Honestly, I don't know. I'm being about it because
I have Tesla. I don't have SpaceX, but I'm like, will my Tesla stock love? Do I get SpaceX stock?
Like what happens? I don't know. Yeah. Well, it's preferably I want everything to make me more money,
but I don't really know how it works. Oh yeah. Well, look, I think it's just as simple as bundling in
the company that has desirable products and has income along with the more R&D type stuff, right?
That doesn't pay. That's kind of what I see. Like, how does SpaceX pay? It pays by, I guess,
our tax dollars mostly, right? I guess. I don't know. Yeah. Well, part of, it's part of the, I don't know,
it's part of the money that used to go to exclusively NASA, right? He is the contract. Well, they have
Starlink too. That's going to be generating a loyal revenue.
