testing, testing, hope everyone can hear me. Yes, Kevin, I can hear you. Great, great. Hi, morning, Kevin. Hi. Good morning, and I'm Shay, and I will be hosting the day's AMA. Thank you so much for joining us so early. We really appreciate your time. And I believe everyone in the Chinese community is really excited to chat with you today. Thank you. I'm very excited to be here and spend time with you all. This was a long time coming, so I'm very happy to be here. If everything gets ready, we will get started very soon. Twitter space. I'm the host of the day's AMA. Thank you so much for joining us tonight. We will be here tonight to talk about the event. This is also the first time the AMA and Chinese community are meeting in the AMA. We have received a lot of questions about the Taiwan, Australia, and the Internet. In this case, I would like to invite you to introduce yourself. As a member of the CIO, I would like to introduce you to the members of the CIO. There are many things that I can do in the future. I would like to ask them to introduce the two departments of the Foundation. So in this case, I would like to ask Kevin and everyone to talk about Mr. Laps and the Foundation. I will probably be able to get some of those. Hello, Kevin. So it's time. Well, let's get started. So the very first question is that for actually for many people in the Chinese speaking community, today is their first opportunity to talk to you directly. So could you please briefly introduce yourself and explain your main responsibilities as CEO of Medicine Lives and some of the community members are actually also not very clear about the division of responsibilities between Medicine Labs and the Sui Foundation. So could you also please help clarify what each organization is responsible for? Yes, happy to do so. I think I'll break the question into different parts. If I start talking about myself on the professional side of things, I will end it with a small note about me personally. I joined Mr. Laps not as its president or its CEO, but originally as its first lawyer. And this was very close to the beginning of the company when the company was first set up. And this is before Maynet on Sui. So I have been at the company since the very earliest of days. Being the lawyer gave me a very unique perspective into looking across the business and understanding the risks and the needs and seeing all the different pieces that are in motion to be able to of course get to Maynet to grow a network. And ultimately I took on the president had after a lot of planning with Evan and then finally stepped into the CEO role after that. Prior to my time at Mr. Labs, I was General Counsel of a career economy startup called PixArt. Sometimes confused with PixArt, but PixArt. And then prior to that, I had spent many of my in-house years and some of the most important years of my career at Square, which is now known today as Block. That was some of the highlights of my career because in those days it was pre-IPO over at Square and the influence and the understanding that I had on the legal side about how bill products, how to support product teams, how to manage non-legal functions. A lot of that that opportunity began for me at Square. Prior to Square, I was a corporate counsel at Amazon. Amazon was interesting because they had product counsel and they were designing this idea of a product counsel long before the title have really manifested into existence. And then prior to Amazon, I was a large law firm attorney. We call it big law. And I was based out of New York, a law firm called Sherman and Sterling. That is most of my legal to today's professional career. Very quickly, before that, on a personal note, before I was a real lawyer, I was an artist. So I went to university at Carnegie Mellon in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, for Fine Art. And when I graduated, I had a very difficult time at that time. It was a recession. And I had started my own business. I had also worked in design and art production, creating websites for celebrities and celebrity entertainment, before eventually going back to school for law school. That is the quick and dirty on my personal journey. The reason I call out certain aspects around the art background, as well as some of those steps that I've taken, is a consistent through line to all of it is a very strong belief in the power of communities, and the power of flywheel business models. And I've always been drawn to those types of businesses that have things that are difficult to reproduce, that involve pieces around community that contribute to a sense of growth and wealth. And that was very, very plain to see when you start looking at drawing a network like sweet and building a business from really the ground up, zero to one. Even in today's world with the prevalence of AI, it is even more so important that we recognize that humans are at the core of all the good things that are created, and the human network, and the camaraderie and the community that comes along with a human network, is going to be one of the last things to be ever placed by robots. Should I stop there before I go to answer part two of the question? I feel like that was probably a lot. Oh yes, thank you very much. So let me first translate this first part. I want to talk about my own personal experience. At the beginning, when I joined this company, I started to start from the beginning, and I started not as a management, but as a lawyer, and as a law enforcement. And now in my current company, I am a team lab. And then before that, I got to a PIX-2, although a lot of people would have mixed PIX-3, but actually it is two different machines. And then before that, I joined a company called Squire, which is called Block. And then I was there to be their legal product's question. Of course, it was also a little bit of a background to make a statement. And then in the past, I was in the Yamaha market to be their legal product's question. At that time, there were some of the legal products that I needed to handle. And then before that, I wanted to tell you about my personal education, which started with the legal management. I was actually a student student. The university was in the Kamei-Rong University. In the course of the university, I was a student of the art. And then I wanted to say why I had a legal business, and then I had a legal business that I had been trying to achieve. And then I was in a background. And then I wanted to tell you about my personal education, which made me believe in the design of the design of the business. I believe that the design of the design of the business is connected to the human. And I believe that in the process of creating a business value, we can see that we have been able to build a design of the design of the design and the design of the design of the design. And then the key point of view is that in today's AI-Sync era, I thought that human beings, the power of human beings, now the AI-Sync era is very core, not a big part of the generation. Okay, thanks for coming back to the second question. Kevin please go ahead for the second part. Yes, thank you. I realized with one other piece that I should tell everyone out about on a personal level, just because I think it's relevant for this audience. I'm an ABC. You know, I was born in New York through Singapore in Paris. My parents immigrated from Singapore. And they started a new life in New York City's Chinatown. And I grew up in a chain of fast food Chinese restaurants. That is what my family did for my upbringing. Most of my memories when I was young was always at the restaurant. Either working the front, working the back, running around the hallways of a mall. But it is not my story, but my family story is one of a very classic Asian immigrant story. They came to the US from Singapore. Then we opened a restaurant in Tangrenjie in the middle of the street. So I was in the same age as I was old. I was in the restaurant, not only in the front, but also in the back. I was in a lot of time. Although this is not my story, but my story is my story. But it can also be reflected in my background. And I was in a very classic family. Thanks. We're not speaking Mandarin as one of my life's greatest regrets. When I grew up around the house, we spoke kind of neat because both of my parents as Singaporeans are of the high nannies dialect. So onto the media question at hand, and now for just about this background on me, is explaining the difference between sweet foundation and Mr. Lam. So Mr. Lambs is the original contributor to the sweet protocol. If you're to think about it conceptually, a lot of the technical wizards read the technical know-how, the engineering teams, the technical staff, they are all on the Mist and Lab side. Mist and Labs and Sweet Foundation are not related legal entities. They both have their own boards. They both have their own budgets, their own P&L. So and their headquarters are in different countries in different places. In that sense, they are not at all the same company. But the reason that the two keep coming up together, along with the public company, Sweet G, is because these are the entities that are all reaching for the same thing. They all want sweet desperately to be successful and for sweet to grow. If you look at the vision of labor and you look at most of the work that happens on the Sweet Foundation side, it is where virtually most of the marketing engine for anything in the Sweet ecosystem happens. The Sweet Foundation is also the entity that makes because it holds the community treasury, all of the investments, all of the grants and all of the handling of capital allocation.
