Thank you so much, Metal. I appreciate that.
Hello everybody. Thank you so much for pulling up and joining us.
I'm here with my lovely co-host, Aqua. Still waiting on Devon.
I know we have some family stuff, but he'll pull up as soon as he gets back.
That's totally fine. If you haven't already, please like, comment, bookmark, and repost the space,
drop a couple. Tag a couple homies in the purple pill. Let's spread this space out.
It's an exciting topic, and I can't wait to get into it. But before we do, I want to welcome
everybody to episode nine of you up where we're going to have real open conversations about sex,
love, relationships, intimacy, communication, connection, and all the things that come with being
human. This is a judgment-free zone. And you don't have to have all the answers, or have to be
an expert to join the conversation. We can have different experiences and perspectives while
still treating each other with respect. Share what you're comfortable with, sharing, or just hang out and
listen. Come curious, learn from each other, and make these conversations a little easier to have.
Tonight, we're talking about the art of seduction. So let's get into it. How are you feeling tonight,
Aqua? I'm feeling pretty good. I have to say, it was exciting week. Metal's birthday was last weekend.
Our anniversary is this week, one year married. So just, just pretty excited about everything in general.
I love that. Congrats. Happy one year. Are you guys going to do anything?
Not sure yet. It might. It's on the Thursday, so it's kind of in the middle of the week, but yeah,
we're still going to find a way to just make a special with us. I love that. It's important to keep
dating each other as you know. You guys are happy together. So it's not a lot of people in the
space, but that's totally fine. I'm going to do it a little bit differently because I feel like
when I read the question, sometimes there's dead space. So I'm just going to answer each question first
and then open it up to everybody else. That way, sometimes people feel maybe a little bit uncomfortable
approaching the question, or they don't, they're not really sure how they want to approach it,
what they want to say. So that will make it a little bit easier. And everybody a little bit more
comfortable. Okay. So our first question is what makes someone seductive without them even trying?
So for me, well, no, it's just kidding. That's I actually re-ordered the questions because it didn't
make sense. So what's the difference between flirting and seduction? I think flirting is more about
playful, playful interaction, expressing interest. Whereas seduction is something deeper. Flirting can
be intentional. You're making eye contact teasing someone or giving little signals that you're
attracted to them. But I personally think seduction is more natural. I think you don't necessarily
have to be trying to do someone to be seductive. Sometimes it's simply your presence, your energy
or the way you carry yourself. To me, flirting is something you do while seduction is something
you naturally embody. Someone can be really good at flirting without necessarily being seductive.
I can see that. I kind of see it as the opposite in a way though because I feel like being seductive
is more intentional. There is an angle whereas flirting can just be your natural personality.
But it really just depends on the audience and depends on the goal of the conversation.
I can see that. I feel like for me, almost like when I think of being seductive, I think it's
like something that you do naturally embody. I think of it as just being sexy. And I think
sexy is like a state of mind. It's not a body type. It's not what you necessarily, it can be what
you look like. But I feel like sexy and being seductive is more of an energy. If anything,
and flirting, I don't necessarily think I never try to be seductive or anything like that. I feel
like it just whatever the situation is. It's just something that I just naturally embody,
whereas flirting, I know what I'm doing. Type of thing. But that's just me.
Because I know there's people who are just kind of flirts in general. They just flirt with
everybody around them. That's just the charisma, that's their personality, that's just who they are.
Whereas to me, seducing someone is intentional with the natural direction, like an angle to actually
make something happen, to influence them to go your way or whatever the case may be.
But at the same time, too, you can be unintentionally seductive just because of how your charisma
comes up. So it just really just depends again, I think on your audience,
and what ends up happening at the end of the conversation.
Yeah, I can definitely get behind that. I agree with that. Brad, you're on state. I can't really see
if anybody else is on stage. I did throw some mics, so I'm not sure. If anybody else besides Brad
is on stage, but if he has any input on the question, I'm happy to reread that if he needs a little
reflection. I'm trying to throw mics, but if these people are not catching them, so yeah, they're
just letting the mikes hit them in the face. But that's okay. We'll just move on. That's no problem at all.
So our next work is...
What? I think you're rugging a little bit, Brad.
Yeah, no.
Oh, okay. Come, you're coming in loud and clear now.
Can you hear me?
Do you want me to... Yes, I can hear you. Can you, yes, can you hear me?
Hello. Can you hear me?
You're rugging, Brad. You're rugging hard.
You might need to do a lap and come back.
All right. Well, that's all right. You can do a lap.
Come right back. We'll bring you right back up. Welcome to the space. Lamb, RTSC, Icy,
Corn, Metal, J-Doc. Thank you, everybody, for being here. Don't be intimidated by the title.
You know, we are really just talking about, you know, emotional complexities here,
in not the glory details of your relationship.
Here we go.
You are so...
I'm back.
Okay. Do you want me to repeat...
No, I got it.
Okay.
Yeah, no, I think it's a really interesting question, but I don't think you can seduce...
Well, I see. In my case, you couldn't seduce a woman unless you're flirting with her first.
And then flirting with somebody and, you know, that eye contact and that whole body language thing.
You know, leads to something further and then it can turn into something, you know, more like
seducing your partner, you know, so...
You can't have... I don't think you can have one without the other, at least in my opinion, anyway.
Just thinking about it.
I like that take.
Yeah, I think that flirting, like I was saying before, I feel like it's a little bit more intentional.
Like, you know what you're...
You know, you kind of like have an end goal or like an energy that you're trying to create.
But whereas, you know, the art of seduction or just being sexy, I think that's something that
you just naturally tend to embody, naturally.
Welcome to the stage.
Yes. I've flirted quite a bit in my lifetime, you know, but it's innocent types flirt, you know,
it's like, no, you know there's nothing going to happen because it's just friendship types of
whatever type of thing, right? But when it comes down to it, you know, it's, you know,
reading your partner and finding out, you know, it's flirting coming back in the same way that
you're giving it out and then that can lead to seducing.
I agree with that take. I am going to hand it over to Dilei if she'd like to add anything to
the conversation before we move on to the next question. But thank you so much for coming up.
How are you doing tonight, Dilei?
I'm doing lovely, Bri, how are you doing?
I am wonderful. Thank you so much for asking.
Good. Yeah. I wanted to come up and support. I love that you're having this room and these
topics, which can be kind of difficult for some people to talk about. But very important, you know,
and we're adults here. So I didn't hear what you guys were talking about before I came up. So I
don't really have any input, but I will as soon as something comes up that I can.
Hi, Aqua.
Why is the difference between flirting and seduction in European and Dilei?
Oh, flirting and seduction. Yeah, I think I definitely see a difference in the two.
I think flirting is more of an outward, an outward, I don't know the word I'm looking for right now.
Maybe like the more of like an outward physical thing, like, you know, you're flirting, you might be
you know, touching someone in a certain way or looking at the most certain way. But when it comes
to seduction, I don't know, I think that's a spiritual thing. That's kind of more of an innate
thing where, you know, you can do it either voluntarily or involuntarily, just kind of like by
your mannerisms. Maybe it's kind of like a real, um, oh, I don't know, like a real carnal thing
is seduction. I don't know. That's kind of the vibe I get. Well, I agree with you on that. Yeah,
I feel like flirting is, it tends to be, I know, flirting tends to be more of an act and like
seduction is more like an energy. That's a perfect answer, Dilei, because that actually goes
into our next question, which is what makes someone seductive without them even trying.
And in my opinion, I think it's really just how someone cares himself, like the charisma,
the confidence, the how they come into a room, how eyes draw to them, etc. What they have to offer
without necessarily saying, look at me, but like just their whole energy, um, they can draw the eye
and make you want to learn more about that person. Um, me, I think making me laugh is probably going
to be the biggest thing that's gonna draw my attention without someone trying and making me look twice
at a person. Yeah, that's such a great answer, because I agree with a lot of the things that you're
saying. I think that the most seductive quality someone could have is being genuinely comfortable with
who they are. There's something incredibly attractive about someone who isn't performing for
attention or constantly seeking validation. They're just existing authentically. It could be in their
body language, their voice, the way they make eye contact, how they listen or how they present
who they are, um, when they're interacting with somebody. Uh, I also think there's something
seductive about, um, so someone who makes you feel seen without making you feel like they're
trying to impress you. Um, and attraction isn't always a conscious decision. We pick up on
subtle social cues, body language and confidence without necessarily realizing why we're drawn to
somebody. I think some of the most seductive people don't even realize they're seductive.
They're not intentionally creating desire. They're just something about their presence that naturally
draws people in.
