I actually had posted this morning that X was doing a new update to spaces.
Well, she got there she is.
Yeah.
Are you there, Shell testing testing?
I'm here.
I'm here.
I got an in-app call from TM's and it not be out.
No problem.
No problem.
It didn't have anything to do with the space update or anything like that.
It was just a quick call and it did not be out.
I'm back.
Yeah.
Welcome back.
You know, speaking of that real quick, before I go any farther, I did not see.
I know you posted this morning that X released a lot of new updates and then make over for X
spaces. I haven't saw it.
What is the differences that you have saw that maybe I need to be aware of while we go
into the shell?
Well, let me tell you what I see.
I see on the top of my screen only three Avies.
You, myself and Trish as co-hosts and then the rest of them are all in three.
Now instead of fours lined up, the Avies are like five times bigger and it's a little
more vibrant for sure with the colors and everything.
It's much clearer and boy, I'll take a different look at you really got a scroll, especially
you know when you're in a bigger space to see who's in the space because now you only
have three across instead of four and you can only see six on your screen instead of
all 12 speakers.
So it's different.
It's different.
I don't know.
I don't know what happened, but I'm not sure I really like it yet.
I'm going to I don't have a choice, but I guess we'll just have to be more scroll.
I guess you know, I'm not seeing a difference on my iPhone.
It looks the same.
Yeah, I was going to say I don't see that happening to my either and I updated.
Yeah.
I'm up to date.
I have some change to either.
Yes, I am on an iPhone.
I didn't run an update.
It updated automatically overnight and bam.
Wow.
This could be part of the new beta as well.
Some people do have it.
Brandy, truth fighter 33, she's got it.
There's a lot of other people that are experiencing it as well.
So I guess I guess randomly they're going to be changing it for everybody here pretty soon.
So I guess that takes them a little bit to roll it out to all the devices.
I imagine.
So well, I will be watching for the changes.
But if it's just an appearance and not actual operation, I didn't notice I got kicked out
when I did a test space earlier.
So I don't know.
Hopefully we will all be we'll be able to stick here and hang together through tonight.
I'm hoping so it's a y'all right now that this space goes off without a glitch or at least no.
Cindy operational.
I'll tell you one more thing, Cindy.
Sure.
And people throw emojis.
They're huge.
They're really.
They're huge.
Girl.
Oh my goodness.
I'm going to have to.
You need a screen shot.
I want to say.
I want to say this.
So I want to tell you I went through this a month ago with my Android.
Oh my.
And it lasted for about a week.
And then it went to after that since I have an Android about a month ago, I went through it.
And then all of a sudden I got everything that the iPhones had, including the bar.
So I'm going to tell you that now.
Oh cool.
You all with that we have two hours to get through a lot of material.
So I'm going to ask Shell or Trish one.
If as after GMX, because she's our honorary co-host, I'd like to see what she's looking forward to tonight.
And then if you all would mute the mics until we get through the introduction of the topic,
because we're going to open it up to everybody to talk after we do the introduction.
But yeah, so GMX, what are you looking forward to tonight?
I'm looking forward to see if what I thought about the Sabbath was correct.
Or if I need to adjust some of my beliefs about it.
So that's that's one of the main things.
And the other thing was I really enjoyed the history.
And I think the history adds a lot to the understanding of it.
And the way that Charlie explains in all three chapters what it stands for and what it means
has just really meant a lot to me.
So I just can't wait to read every chapter in this book and see what I can learn from it.
I love it.
And that's why I've been encouraging everybody.
Don't make any rash decisions right away.
It is what you just said is so crucial to our beliefs as we grow up in Christ
to just because we've heard things one way for a long time.
Yo, I've been pastor, I've been a ministry for a long time now.
But I still run across things from time to time that maybe I'm not quite believing correctly
because I've heard it one way all the time.
So be ready and willing as the Lord reveals something new and fresh from his word to you
to adjust your beliefs to come in line with the word rather than hold on to sacred stones
that aren't really sacred at all.
You know, we are continually living out while we're on a life of sanctification and transformation.
So long as we're willing, amen.
So yeah.
And Trisha or show either one of you have anything to say before we jump into this,
what your Trisha didn't think you said, what you're looking forward to yet.
Oh, I'm just, you know, I love history, history about anything.
So yeah, that's a really was excited to read this chapter and find out, you know,
from Charlie went from biblical foundation through Jewish and Christian history.
So it was definitely a lot to cover.
Like you said, we have a lot to cover today and we sure do.
Yes, we do.
We do.
But I'm looking forward to is learning about, you know, what is correct and being obedient to that.
That's what obedience is so important when it comes to, you know,
our father's word and his directive, right?
And his plan for us, obedience is the utmost importance.
Amen, sister.
Amen.
Say it again.
Absolutely.
Yeah.
Same here.
Yeah.
So good.
You know, I, real quick, I want to give a shout out to Jane Leonard Michigan for providing the opening music tonight.
No Kings, but King Jesus, he has to be our only King.
And it blows my mind how sometimes on X even a lot of people think they're king unto themselves and to everybody else, right?
But we have no King, but King Jesus in this space.
For those that may not know me yet, I'm the host of Sunday, so Cindy Cooper, I wear a lot of hats in life.
And I am really super excited because not only are we looking just, you know,
clear back to Genesis, but up to present day, how various, how the practice of the Sabbath has evolved over time.
And just as a reminder, we'll have this is a, we do one chapter a week, focusing using Charlie Kirk's book as a resource stop in the name of God.
So we'll have about 10 or weeks of this before we move on to another topic.
And we're not reading the book of events in its entirety. You don't have to have the book. The book has so much information.
Though if you can get your hands on a copy, it would greatly help you.
Most libraries have it.
If not, you can ask for them to get you one.
So and as a reminder to everyone, we are not here to discuss various or argue various denominational beliefs and differences.
And we're not going to allow any religious legalism, which means we're one or more people demand other people keep the rules and laws exactly as they dictate.
We're not going to allow that.
But instead we're looking to the word of God, even Charlie's book is a resource. We're comparing it to the word so that you can be smarter than cows and eat a good stuff and spit out the sticks.
After all, God has declared and he didn't make the Sabbath.
It wasn't made by man.
So we're not going to dictate how it has to be interpreted. We're going to let God do that.
It's God-breathed. It's not about legalism. It literally is an invitation to liberation, even in this day and age.
A celebration of our freedom in Christ Jesus.
So with that, let's open and prayer.
And so Father God, we thank You, Lord, for this time, this place, this space. We invite You Holy Spirit.
Open our hearts and minds to dig into this topic tonight, Lord, to hear what Your Spirit would say to us, to rightly divide the truth from what is fiction, even though it might sound good.
Help us to walk in it and apply it to our lives.
And we thank You for Your mercy and grace.
For Your grace that continues to sanctify us.
Set us apart and help us to grow up in Your Word as a body of believers with You as the head Jesus.
We love You. We give You praise. Amen. Amen. Amen.
Well, with that, I guess I should, I want to post real quick because there is seven.
Let me see if I can get it in here. It was actually seven subtopics in this chapter.
And I was kind of thinking, okay, how are we? I hope that went.
Trish, will you make sure those subtopics posted? I think they did.
But I do want to briefly talk about each one of them.
It starts out the actual, just an introduction. It Charlie opens this chapter by explaining the Hebrew definition.
So you know, shall or Trish or GMX, either one of you, do one of you all have your Bibles handy where you could read some scripture for me.
GMX has got a thumbs up. How about starting with Genesis chapter two versus two through three. Would you my dear?
And I'm certainly down.
Awesome.
No, okay, I'll go ahead. Genesis chapter two, verse two and three. Is that correct?
Yes, ma'am.
And on the seventh day, God ended his work which he had made. And he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
And God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it because that in it, he had rested from all his work which God created and made.
Amen. So that and I just lost part of my notes in my log off.
But, but that where he rested, it's literally that's that is the first place where we hear the mention of Sabbath and the Hebrew word for Sabbath or Shabbat literally means to stop or to cease.
It connotes a full cessation, a deliberate interruption of the action in ancient Hebrew. It is not merely resting in the passive sense, but it's a sovereign act of halting.
And it's a practice of the presence of God and consecration, the being set apart sanctified that day is literally later.
I mean, he says he's set it apart, but it would be made holy holy unto him. I made a post earlier this week, kind of pulling a little bit from this first introduction in Charlie's book.
He says in a world that's governed by unrelenting drive and by the mantras of faster, harder and more, I added more, more, more, more, more, you all know the how this world, if we allowed it to dictate to us all the time how we're going to live each day.
It never wants us to rest. And yet God says you can rest. And when he talks about a rest, he's not just talking about a law and hit the seventh day, you know, you have to ask yourself, why did God rest? Why did he rest?
Well, he did so to celebrate and to look back at all, at all that he accomplished, all that he had created, all that he had done.
Sometimes when we hear the word Sabbath, we think, you know, in our modern day and age, we think, oh, I'm so tired, I've worked all week. And now I've got to get up and I've got to do this.
Oh.
