else I just find to be, I don't know, I guess there was a moment when space has got kind of crazy
which hopefully is calm down now a little bit but you know, I think you have to really,
it's hard to navigate at the moment. I don't know what you're...
Yes, absolutely. I mean, I even had, I appreciate you so much,
having me a co-host but I mean in full transparency, I did kind of pause for a second and think like,
oh gosh, do I want to get into, you know, what is obviously a, in some aspects controversial
but at the same time, I don't know, I still have this big piece in my heart and my head that
just want to keep corralling together folks and helping the greater good and understanding so
hopefully we can do a little of that. Yeah and I think the more kind of conversations you have like
this the more, you know, you can maybe kind of get some idea of what the truth is, you know,
it's, as I said, it's really hard to know what's real and what's not and you know,
and in a way it's like, it's almost like you don't really want and I think anyone,
everyone should kind of not trust anyone and just kind of trust what resonates. Do you know what I mean?
Like, that's all we can do really is just go with what resonates and leave everything else and so
I can feel it really, really, really potently when like the energy gets really like insane and then I
just like, I can't, I can just back off because it's just, I don't know but as you say, like it's still
really important and conversations like this with Billy because I think if it is true that like,
you know, someone like for example Elizabeth Lane is like sort of a foreign op as people are saying,
I mean I don't know, I had her on my spaces once, like I think she came on and I can't remember what
we were talking about was it the screen drive, the hearing, you know, so I don't know much about her
but you know, if it is true that there are people that are trying to so-k-off so whatever then it's,
you know, this has been my interest for so long now like since, you know, I mean I've been kind of
in the conservative sphere on and off, I mean off for like years but on and off for like a long time
and sort of since 2009, well, no, since 2003 since I graduated from college, you know,
I've kind of volunteered for conservative, you know, Republican Party and whatnot and just kind of
seeing it just becomes something really weird. I just don't know, it does, I don't recognize it
from what I used to know. I do think there's a lot of, I don't know, ebbs and flows probably,
I'm no historian but over time, probably ebbs and flows but you know, we're in a very interesting
time that's fueled by a lot of political issues and I think, I mean obviously that plays into
this case and different motivations potentially from different folks. Yeah and you kind of sent
me this thing about Nick Shirley earlier. It's a fascinating listen. It is, yeah, I'll have to
put it in the chat below but you know, I guess he was, who was it that it was speaking that he said
he was the first guy to ever have Nick Shirley always. That was Julian Dorrie, so does he name Julian?
Yeah, Julian Dorrie. And he's really, he seems to be an interesting guy, you know, I've watched
several of his things over the last year but yeah, if you want to talk about it, I think that's a good
tee up, like to what's going on. Yeah, yeah, I mean, we could definitely talk about that. So
basically yeah, Julian Dorrie had Nick Shirley on. I don't know what the year was that he had him on but
basically was, the question was, was Nick Shirley a useful idiot or was he like a knowing actor?
And like with me with a lot of these younger guy people when I chat with him, like I like to believe
that they're just kind of useful idiots. I don't want to think that, you know, I don't know,
like I don't know if you find this but like I was fine that if I'm trying to look into something,
my biggest like Achilles heel is that I end up kind of liking people. So I'm like, even if they're
whatever, I, you know, I kind of like them and then I'm like trying to see the best of them and
you know, be like, no, they just don't know if they're being used, if they're involved and
they're being used, you know what I mean? Like it's hard to kind of separate that but, you know,
as a journey, as if you're trying to be an investigator, you have to draw the line.
Yeah, and I've probably start, I guess I would like to think that I'm as not forgiving, I can't
think of the right word as you but I do just usually, I don't know, my spidey sense goes up
pretty fast and then it is always, there's always room for adjustment, you know, over time.
And I didn't know anything about Nick Shirley before September 10th, but I quite quickly
is like, I mean, I was spidey sensed immediately when I realized that he had just been on
the Charlie Kirk show that day and then oh suddenly gets this, you know, big scoop about all of the
fraud, some only fraud that was going on. And it's actually the TPU, there was someone else with TPUSA,
I think it was the Savannah Gal that they have, but anyway on their media arm
who had done very similar stories, but it was that Nick Scott propped. So yeah, no, it's interesting.
Yeah, exactly. And also not only that, but like in Minnesota in general, like, they were already
dealing with a huge government fraud scandal. And I always find it interesting when there's a fraud
scandal that gets highlighted that really has two agendas. So it's not just about the fraud, it's also
about immigration, you know what I mean? So it's like, it's like pushing two narratives and then it's
like, okay, this is like storytelling rather than like legit fraud. Like if people really cared about
fraud, you know, they would be going after the, you know, the the the COVID fraud that was happening
in Utah, you know, the care, the care scandal or whatever it was called. Like there's some heavy
duty fraud, the Minnesota fraud that the government was actually engaging in. But instead it becomes this
thing about now we need to kick out all the simoleons because they're committing fraud and it just
becomes more to me, it just seems more like an agenda than, you know, than what the actual, you know,
I don't know, like, it's like when they conflict, they conflict two issues that, you know,
but the same story, do you know what I mean? Yes, and I can tell you from being in TV, you know,
and I say what you want about TV news these days, but being an investigative journalist for 12 years
and having, you know, many different, like, saucy, fraud-based stories with 100, you know,
tens of millions or hundreds of millions of dollars involved, like it did not catch the quick,
you know, fire that Nick Shirley's did. And so I don't know if that's what they call astroturfing,
you know, sort of essentially, but they're just had to have then something else.
100%. Yeah, yeah, that's exactly, I mean, from my experience personally, like, when I looked at,
when I ran for office, it was in Philadelphia dealing with like Philadelphia fraud and everything,
nobody cares. Like, if you're actually exposing real fraud, nobody give, like no one will give you
airtime. That's what I've come to understand. And so if someone's getting airtime, I'm like,
that's weird. Like, you know, I don't understand like, and congressional hearings.
Yeah, yeah, I'm like, there's more to this story. Just I'm maybe I'm sure you and I have just become
cynical in our old age, but I just, I don't know, I don't buy it, but Hayden, I was just wondering if
you'd be able to like message or call Billy and see and just let her know because I don't
know, hopefully she remembers or, you know, knows the time. I did just message her, but
unfortunately I can't call her or anything. If you can, just give me a thumbs up. I really appreciate it,
but no worries, if not. Hey, O'Carl, how are you?
Hey, I'm good. Yeah, you got me thinking back to something that I remember discussing
right around when the Charlie Kirk situation happened. And it had to do with the subway stabbing
with that girl, Irina. Yeah, yeah, Irina, yeah. But, um, but I just remember how that became such
a viral story. However, the incident was three years prior. I mean, not three years, three weeks.
If so, three weeks prior to like, when it actually kind of got traction in the media,
and kind of sparked up a new narrative of um,
violence from the left or radical left people or just the movement, just what how the left
is basically conjuring up, you know, this violent attitude amongst people against whites,
white people in the sense. And it was, I just thought it was strange how it seemed like that
narrative kind of seemed to manufacture, especially since the story was so delayed in its virality.
And um, and then Charlie Kirk happened, which immediately became another incident of left violence
as soon as it before me, New Tyler Robinson's name. And so I just remember discussing
people also kind of caught onto that, but it kind of fell through and then Nick Shirley, of course,
right? And then it's just like, it just seemed like this has all been
ashirter in a way. Yeah, yeah, sorry. And I think that that was Charlie's last tweet as well
was regarding her. Yeah, I remember discussing that was an audit. Yeah, and there was like a big
mural, I think in Utah that went up that day or something about it. But yeah, it was interesting
actually because, you know, I, I'd been kind of um, talking about on my Instagram and stuff, like just
generic kind of new stuff about, you know, the war and like, just different things. And then
there were a few stories that came up. There was like that one, like the Irina one.
And then there were, this is the things that kind of started to get my people coming to my
page because I started to get more interested in those kind of stories like that. There was also in
England, this Dundee acts girl. I don't know if you remember that one that Elon Musk
went viral, but the girl and Dundee with the act, you know, that was trying to like defend
herself from these immigrants. And um, that one went viral. And I was really interested in because
there was such a narrative pushed on that. I was really interested in like figuring out what the
real story was and, you know, going back and forth. So I did like a bunch of videos on that
trying to kind of figure out, you know, what the real story was, which actually it turns out it was
just like a shitty situation all around like on both parts. Like the girls shouldn't have had the
acts, you know, and the guy and then but also the immigrant, the guy wasn't behaving very well,
you know, he was in the wrong and anyway, it was an interesting thing, but yeah, I just started to
like get much more into this and then as a Charlie Kirk thing went on a few months into it, I
remember thinking back to the Irina thing being like, because I got very into like it from a very
literal standpoint. But then I was like, that was pushed really heavily as left wing violence, almost
like within agenda. So yeah, anyway, you know, it may have been, it may have even been in your space
where I remember we discussed it could have been. Yeah, maybe yeah, because I, yeah, it was fascinating
actually, like just to go back, I think Charlie Kirk, when the Charlie Kirk thing happened, it was
like this veil was dropped and then we started to relook at so many different stories, you know,
and obviously going back to 9-11 and before that, but because the one thing that got me going on
the Charlie Kirk case was that immediately they the culprit, they knew the ideology of the culprit,
you know, fate and then the question that was asked of him at that moment that he was shot, came
into play and this was all before Tyler before a picture was presented to us with the suspect on
the roof, which was Tyler Robinson's name was presented even prouder throughout this leaked FBI photo
of engraved bullets, you know, that supported this leftist narrative and it never went away.
And there's no proof of Tyler Robinson being radicalized in any which way, there's more proof
that maybe his boyfriend did, but it's just that the only evidence that we have Tyler fitting
that narrative is from that date, you know, from I guess testimony from Mike Mitchell, from his
parents that apparently he had some kind of an attitude change politically, as well as just the
discord messages right where apparently he has all this hate now that he never spoke to his
boyfriend about, but it's there now and it motivated him enough to murder a person. So it's just
it all just that's what got me going and then of course, you know, the gun and then the screwdriver
and then you know, death penalty, average, you know, so immediately it was just it spiraled into this
like they're they're building this up pretty fast and for the people that are going to fall in line
and push this narrative and I don't know, I'm seeing it now from like an Andrew Wilson who's
pretty new to the scene and pretty hot on the scene now who's basically saying that you know,
his main his main motivation and focus now is to make is that this is this whole Charlie Kirk argument
is is the left right thing and it's kind of a on a mission to take down, you know, Tp USA right wing
conservative power movement, you know, and other big players within the Republican Party and
