He has not, but maybe one of these days, peanut, Hokito, welcome to the space. Just kind of talking about teammates tonight. You guys are more than welcome to jump up here. Share your opinion. I would love to hear it. I'm dealing with a coworker that I don't know. I go out of my way to try and help him through his day and he goes out of his way to throw me under the bus. So it's a weird dynamic. Hokito, welcome to the stage. How are you doing tonight? What is up brother? Happy Tuesday. I'm actually just getting off at work seven o'clock, taking the drive home, going to see the fan. I'm ready to eat. I'm ready to horse. Dude, I'm starving like Marvin. Oh my god. I need food in my life. But I'm good man. This is actually like my second space. I've been able to get into it like two weeks because of work. So I'm glad it's yours man. Well dude, I'm grateful that you were able to show up. And maybe we can help occupy your drive home. I know you have known teammates at a high level. Oh man. Teammates have been kind of my life like 30 years. I mean, you know, different teams, different states, the Hoesha Bang from all over the world, you know, playing baseball. How did that have that that honor and opportunity to share that? Not only not only just have teammates, but I mean and you can relate, you know, from the baseball standpoint as well. You know, sometimes you guys learn together. You guys learn how to BS together. How to just bond, how to communicate at a high level, create experiences and, you know, even though those experiences are like life changing and memorable and you take them to the grave. It's unfortunate that just kind of life be life and sometimes and you just can't connect with 90% of your team. As you grow and you start separating and turn or fall in the port. But yeah, dude, it's something that not a lot of us think about. Like now I'm just getting to think about it and so many people, so many people that I've interacted and bonded with and lifelong relationships and I'm actually probably going to get home and at some point like sent them a message and be like, hey, I hope you assholes are doing good. Obviously, you've all forgotten about me. But let me just hop into the DMs real quick and I hope you're doing good. Yeah, man. That's a great topic. I absolutely love it. And I'd actually like to hear your take on the team on the team mates topic as well, man. Oh, dude, it's it's crazy. Real quick, what position was like what position did you play? Do you play? So I play a right field and I'm a closing pitcher. Okay, okay. So I just come hard to shit, bro. I'll give you a solid ending of just like high 80s, maybe a 90 coming at somebody's face and then I'm done. The juice is out. Okay, well, dude, I played into junior college and I don't think I reached, you know, my peak adult size. But I was throwing low to mid 80s, but I was a jump pitcher and I would hit my spots. And when I wasn't pitching, I was typically in right field as well. A famous right fielder actually is the reason why I got the tattoo that I have on my right arm. Wait for somebody to say, I knew you were going to. Raul Mondesie. I knew him. I knew him on the Dodgers when he played with Piazza and Eric Caros. That's right. That's right. Well, I was born in Southern California and my coach was named Jeff McDowell and his younger brother was Roger McDowell, who played for the Dodgers. So as a 10-year-old, I got to meet Raul Mondesie and Raul's arms looked like they were gigantic. He had a cannon shooting a baseball on his right arm. So I got a cannon shooting a baseball on my right arm, but only when I could stand on home plate and throw the ball out of the field. But at one point in time, I could do that. Not anymore though. Fortunately, I have my idol was my uncle, dude. My uncle that played for the Diamondbacks. He was the reason that I played. My dad hates it because I wore his jersey and not my dad's. Definitely wore his number. So I rocked 27 my entire baseball career rather than 18. But yeah, man, my uncle got to play. He got two World Series rings, one with the Braves, one with the Diamondbacks. And my Godfather's actually Vinicastia. So a lot of baseball and family and my mom did a funny story. My mom tried, oh, God bless her heart. She tried so hard for me not to play baseball because they reminded her of my dad, dad just backfired, bro. She put me out of soccer field, bro. First thing I do, roll my ankle. She was like, what the hell? I'm like, this is the weird ass sport. I don't like it. And then first game playing baseball, bomb. She was like, all right, whatever to do it. Just screw it. You're good at this. That was just funny, man. This is reminding me of that. Bro, I never had any power. I always had warning drag power in high school. And then the one day, it was like my last practice. I had gotten so used to watching the ball just hit off defense. I finally decided to show up to batting practice high. And bro, I was just roping them all day. And I didn't even see the one home run I hit. That's how you make it memorable right there, brother. Oh shit. I could not do that. The one game I went to high was not just me. Our entire team said we're playing open high. They suck ass. They haven't beat us in like 20 years. We're just all gonna just smoke before the game. That was the day we lost to the worst team in the league. We could not hit this kid throwing like 58 to the save the life of us, bro. We went back to school at like 730 after the game and our coach had us run suicides till 11. It was so bad. He was so embarrassed. And we were just like, this is not gonna happen ever again. We just made my boy out here like 10 wake field throwing freaking 70 like 50 poo so bad so bad. But you know, you live and learn, live and learn things happen. Oh dude, I missed being on the mound. I was a starter and I had some pretty notable games. I loved it, dude. I felt in control up there. And I don't know man. Knowing that you got a team behind you. And dude, I wasn't a power pitcher. So I knew where my teammates were. I knew how to pitch to the batter for my team. You know. Oh dude, homeboys at second base today. We got this dude. Let's get him a ground ball and this is a double play. Easy day. So it's wild. You know, you do your best to highlight everyone else. How did it, is there a team that you played with that really kind of stood out amongst the rest, brother? You kind of bonded a little bit more with. So for me, high school was, we didn't have high school baseball in Montana. We had American Legion, which I would kind of argue was better. We had like 60 games in our season. And dude, I loved it. My senior year in high school, I was one of the three starting pitchers. And I was actually the the closer to. So whenever I wasn't pitching, I would typically go in and relief. My buddy, Kaylin was my catcher. Dude, it was wild. He knew me. He knew that like in a tough situation, he knew I preferred to throw my curve ball. Didn't matter what the count was. It could be three, two bases loaded. Dude, backdoor curve ball was my money pitch. I had, I want to say like 72 strikeouts my senior year and more than half of them were looking because of that pitch. So that's your Kay, huh? That's the, that's the X factor was the hook. Dude, people even even into junior college, I had people turning their back just to watch it drop in instead of hitting them. And dude, I loved it. People looking at the, while he's punching them out was just priceless. That's freaking awesome, dude. I never had, I always got my case in swings because my, my K pitch is my slider. I have a very, very good slider, very sharp. So you think you're going to smack it and then it just kind of gets away from you. Was there ever a player that you faced that was just like, dude, God, I cannot strike this guy out for the life of me. This guy's going to hit me like 400 feet because I have a guy. Screw that guy. Oh, be state is assing Oklahoma, bro. Freakin Brock Lesnar looking asshole. Dude, that dude just like, worked at like a corn field or something. It feels like five. This one, no neck went up there. It was for Oklahoma, Oklahoma School of Arts and Science or some shit. I don't know, something like that, bro, but my boy, the, the reliever that was before me, bro, he threw him a ball. That ball hasn't landed yet, bro. That foul ball was like 550 feet and just kept going. My coach, the ball hadn't, like it was still an upward trajectory and he was already walking out to the mountain yank this full, bro. And he was just like, you're not, you know, no, hey, I'll know. And he just put my ass in and I was like, I'm giving him nothing but sliders, bro. I'll walk him and I'll be fine. I'll be okay. The one slider I didn't throw far, like far enough outside is who hits a triple off the wall. Not only was he bigger shit, he was fast as hell, bro. He's fast as fuck boy. He was quick. He's quick. I was like, bro, all right, I'm done. I'm toasted. I'm done. I'm done. I'm talking about Coach, you know what, bro? We have again tomorrow. Like today is not my day. I don't do good in the cold. So bad. But did you ever face somebody that was just like, dude, here we go. Yeah, dude. His last name was Franklin. I played baseball in Montana for the Bitterude Bucks. And they were, this team was from the same valley and we were for our division. It was always neck and neck, them and us. But Franklin, dude, I swear, like, I would kill everyone else. But I feel like I probably gave up three solo bombs to him. And you know, it would suck, but a solo bomb hurt way less than like a rally where they started earning runs. You know, it was, it was one messed up pitch and this guy just made you pay for it. He was just that guy. I hate that guy. I hate that guy so much. Just Franklin just hate that name. He just sounds like somebody who like shows up and just like has no business as being that good. No, dude, he was good. I think he I think he played into college. And you know, he was a pretty stand up. He was a stand up guy. But you know, I still didn't like the fact that he would fucking rock me. But yeah, dude, what would it be like that, bro? Do you have a most memorable game on the mound? Most memorable game on the mound, bro.
