used to it too well. I wake up some days, look at my PFP and I'm like, oh, the fuck is this?
Where's the box? But I'm super happy. I've always wanted a punk quite practice speaking. I never
thought I would own one ever in my life. I thought the maximum I would ever own is a board AP
art club. So being able to buy one on one and such a clean one at that, it's just it's a privilege,
but it also shows that NFTs aren't dead because I literally started with a thousand dollars.
And I haven't put a single dollar out of my pocket after that five years ago. And here I am.
I was sitting with a punk at a BFB. So if that doesn't prove that NFTs aren't dead, I don't know what
does. I fully agree with you. And the beautiful thing is like, you know, not only being someone who's
witnessed that journey, but the most important thing, right? And I tweet about this pretty often is,
you know, a lot of people get lost in the source, you know, chasing the new shiny meta and don't
give me wrong. There's nothing wrong chasing and going after what is hot right now because there's
always opportunities to be made. But something I admire about UTMA is, you know, you suck around your
conviction, around making these NFT trades, keeping your eye close to the ground. And obviously,
when the timing was right, you made a fantastic trade, which obviously led to one of the reasons
with that led to getting this punk as well. But you know, it's actually kind of sick. If you look at
the previous cycles, right, where NFTs were at the forefront, Punks were one of the few collections
that really rallied people around, right? And I'm seeing the early beginnings of this. I don't know
if it's just me, but really, you can perhaps say it's marked in the bottom because look at the charts
right now. But TMA, we'll come back to you in a second. Be ready to tell you doing, bro.
I'm not going to be sick, man. It's like it's been a good, but I would say it's been a good year
for NFTs, you know, with every thing coming up, shock brokers, no matter what you call it,
you know, new matter or anything, you know, it's like, I feel like people should be
chasing the trends because the moment you follow the trend is the moment you follow the market.
You know, like I always used to say, you know, I never go against the trend. Like when I used to
treat, when I used to like, sorry, never go against the trend, when I used to trade Bitcoin, you know.
And it's like, are people who didn't trade against the trend? They won, you know, and that's how
it would be in coming weeks since when. I've been doing amazing. I'm feeling happy that, you know,
people are talking about NFTs now. It doesn't matter if it's because of Robinhood, strong brokers
or anything. What matters is they are talking about it. You said it first. Also, can I just say,
if you guys are tuning in, appreciate you guys coming. It's been a while. Like in between the
fucking room, let's get this bad boy style. We already had 200 people, 215. Let's get that 300.
Drop a question down below. Tag me, tag band, tag Andrew. Get around to the questions in a little
bit. What on the street is a simple form is giving away 10 strong brokers. If you'd like to
retweet the space, someone said in the back channels, I don't know who said it, but someone said it.
But simple form, how you doing? Yeah, maybe 10 and 10 NUG's at NFC NYC. I could give out
if you want some help. When is NFC NYC again? Hold up.
Because I was actually talking to you about it. First to the third shift.
She okay. Listen, I'm actually okay. I don't want to derail the conversation too much.
But I was just talking to Adam from OpenC about NFC NYC.
And I was coming to New York anyway, mid-September, but I might need to pull a little early
early New York session because since 2023, I've not missed an NFT NYC.
I was going to fake this one because the year was looking pretty bleak. I was like,
they delayed it. It's using the summer. But now they push it to September. But holy star alignment,
the star is aligning. The charts are looking good. Simple form of broad, a lot of fun back to NFTs.
It's good to see you. So I might have to come back onto that trip.
But welcome to the show for the first time. It's great to hear from you.
I mean, talk to me, man. How's things been for you recently?
Yeah, it's been good. It's been fun. Experimenting is fun and successful experiments are the most fun kind of
experiments, right? So yeah, it's been great. I think a lot of people haven't been focusing on the
infrastructure required for tokens and NFTs by extension to do well. We're proving what good
infrastructure does for these NFTs. And the best part is we're not even like phase one. We're still
warming up. Essentially, we haven't tapped into the 99% of the depths of the upside
in this infrastructure. And that's access to massive centralized exchanges where the majority
of crypto users live. So that's going to be one of our core focuses over the next month. And I think
that should result in more interesting experiment results, at least. Andrew, you know,
as Kosoho, you don't have to raise your hand. I appreciate the politeness. Go ahead.
Yeah, there was getting back in the swing of things. Shiv, you can't miss NFTs and YC
because you've been hosting NFTs bases the past three years and you're still doing it. You have
no excuse to miss it. Get there three, four weeks early. It's given us New York a little bit pricey,
but I think it's I think it's worth it. I was talking to a couple of your teammates. I think
some of them are going to be there. I think agents being one. I think sauce is going to be there.
Then I think a couple other guys are going to be there too. So it will be a good time. Simple.
You're going to NFTs YC? Yeah, maybe. Maybe we'll see. Yeah, I'll try to. But yeah, I'm pretty focused
on building and developing. Obviously with song brokers, we have a leg in the door right now. Yep.
And so now we're going to we're going to blow the the handles off the door. I'm just kind of curious.
You got to keep up working. I'm kind of curious. Two man like your DMs are probably super flooded
at the moment. They're probably been flooded since you've you know, you've launched and done a ton of
launches and consecutive consecutive timeframe. Who's been if you can dox it some of the larger,
maybe stranger slash cool names that have been in your DMs the past couple past the past month,
really. I'm just kind of curious to see like who's catching wind to some of the stuff.
Because a couple of my buddies, their bosses want to come to corporate corporate candidate corporate
America have actually minted stock brokers and like it was super fucking surprising to hear that
they've done that considering they haven't been quote unquote back in the game in about three,
four years. But some of these folks have jumped back in. But I'm curious to know like who are some
of the craziest DMs you've gotten over the past months? Just kind of get a quick check on the pulse of
like who's now watching paying attention over again. Oh, yeah. I mean, look, I think it's a lot of
the big players who have only participated in the token side of crypto and not the NFT side of
crypto. I think that's achieved because of the infrastructure we have. And then in terms of corporate
folks, I think people using crypto technology like NFTs actually create financial technologies that
have real functionality and revenue is something that resonates. It's just like easy thing.
In terms of the craziest, you know, obviously it's been cool to just talk to everybody. All of the
a lot of big people in the space. But even before then we've had early supporters. I mean both
anti-MA were super early supporters of the whole clutch market ecosystem. So, you know, I've
enjoyed talking to them, but I understand everybody's human. I think the coolest one I've enjoyed
talking to is a Gary, Gary Vee. Just because I really looked up to him and I used to do a lot of garage
sales as well and flip stuff on eBay. I still have an eBay store actually, especially in college.
That's how I paid my way through college. And he started making videos after that, which actually
cut down on my margins because then everybody started dating garage sales too. So I told them actually
he introduced a lot of competition. And the funniest one is probably that kid is like that 15-year-old
kid who flicked everybody off after rugging them. He DM me asking if he could collab.
Oh, that's funny. Yeah, that's funny. That's funny. Did he say a work capacity simple?
Like, did he say how he wants to collab? I don't know. I don't know how old he is now.
But I think he's on the right. I think he's on age. I just got to ask for the walls and memes
of this. It's a hell reach out to you. Sequel? Yeah.
Oh, no. I don't know. Okay. We're not big enough yet. Higher. All right. TMA higher. You heard
of here first. Shit, you're the host. Yeah, no, no. I'm not really positive. TMA. My bad. My bad,
wrong. I think I was at TMA. But that being said, I am looking at the NNYC flights as we speak right now.
My answer for that last minute trip would be fun. But that being said,
simple. I think the question that everyone's asking you, even the question that, you know,
is on my mind just curious to know how you feel. You know, how do you feel that you,
you know, with this experiment that you've been doing? Well, you can see experiment wherever it is.
Flipping a lot of these collections that have been here for quite some time, even,
you know, I work at Pudgees, you know, and obviously that was incredible to see because
oftentimes when you think about, like, the top NFT collections, right, you obviously think about
board apes, Pudgees, cleaners, and the feel of the ones. And oftentimes for my conversations with
the law of other founders, right, it puts them off from launching the collections like how,
how can we perhaps compete or how can we actually, you know, prevail in a market like this
where it is. And you've clearly gone and showed that with some creative innovation,
you can thrive. So I'm curious to know, like, you know, was that something you were expecting?
How did that feel just seeing the floor price climb? Just curious to know from your perspective.
Yeah, I mean, look, it's just like gardening or farming, right? You plant seeds, you fertilize the
ground and you expect results. So it's the same thing is that we established infrastructure that
gives the song for grand of tea a really high ceiling. And then we've established distribution
rails with like special project partners and the DeFi protocols that are plugged into our eco,
the kind of turn us into a decentralized on chain Y combinator. I think people resonate with that too.
That's great for scalability. And, you know, it's been successful. So I haven't been surprised
to level because I think we still have a lot of growth to go. I think it's only one month in. And
now we actually have a lot of resources and partners and connections that we can leverage to continue the
growth pattern. But, you know, I'm not going to say I expected it. I'm glad it happened. But for me,
it was always logical that crypto moves forward in this direction. And in terms of comparing
floor price to other NFT collections, I don't do that. It's apples and oranges very much. It's
different infrastructure. But I'm hoping that there are multiple venues where we can utilize what
is permissionless infrastructure like the NBLA MMO to help legacy collections get even more traction
as well. So I'm hoping to be mutually beneficial in the Seika. I love that. I totally agree with you
as well. I'm also curious to know of course there's not obviously just like, you know, a lot of crazy
hype around song brokers, but Robinhood chain particularly as well has gained a lot of traction.
And the past month and a half was that always something that was on your radar because I know
you played around with TestNet. Was that something like you knew that you want to do obviously push
just pretty aggressively on Robinhood chain or how did that come to be? Yeah, I 100%. I mean, like,
we were on TestNet before Robinhood chain was a thing that anybody's radar. I have a close
relationship with Arbitram 1 and you know, they essentially point me in that direction and all of
the numbers made sense, right? It's a company that has a massive funnel of speculative
aligned users. They have a new financial technology and stock tokens. And so the question would
adjust how do you put all these pieces together and create an effective ecosystem? And I think we've
been successful so far. Simple question. Getting some DMs here, a couple of the guys reaching out
on DMs to us. If you guys have any questions, just come with them or reach on DMs. They're asking
pretty abruptly when launchpad. Simple. If you can give an estimated, you know, timeline on it,
you know, a couple days, a couple hours, a couple of seconds, maybe launch it on the show.
And you can kind of maybe hint towards. Yeah, so if you've watched closely, I kind of used what
was a precursor to the launchpad and the safe launch tool to give myself data and be able to view
how my UI would react when we have a couple hundred tokens launching and stuff like that to make
sure everything's really clean. So all of my steps to date have been in preparation for that launchpad.
In the meantime, what you can expect is there have been like a community
trays around trying to get a clock in token. And essentially one of the stock brokers,
community members wanted to establish that. So they formed like a team and they made an
X account. They've got a lot of traction. So we're going to let them be the first team to launch
through the launchpad and then 100 hours after they bond, the launchpad will go live for everybody.
That's all for right. Sounds like it. Yeah, I mean, and I think it'll make sense right? Because with
a good launchpad, you need to have good tokens coming out of that launchpad. And I think that's
that's one that a lot of people are excited about. Yeah, the first two three got to hit in my
opinion and like, you know, we can define how it's going to hit in different ways, but if those two,
three don't hit, then it's probably fair to say it's not going to fail, but there's definitely
going to arise some questions from that obviously. So I totally get what you're coming from.
And I also think simply probably already got my map is bigger this shit out, but I think making
sure that the cadence of when they're getting launched is also very important as well. Like, I kind
of wouldn't do speaking out loud here, like, you know, one after another super, super close,
make sure that you know, the one that goes first is big and the one that goes second can
trump when it goes first, potentially, because that'd be pretty mental if that happened. First is kind
of seeing diminishing returns, but there's a way to get it that there's no diminishing returns
based off of other metrics that the second one is bigger than the first. I think this space would
go absolutely mental. So, be honest, if that was the case, how are you going to do that? I have no idea,
but I just think, you know, your thought process is looking at a good direction. So
yeah, I mean, look, it's obvious that the space has limited liquidity. We've seen that throughout the
bear cycle, you know, everybody's we're all on this lake and everyone's trying to get hooks in the water
to get their peace out. And I don't want to participate in that instead. I want to try to connect
the lake to the ocean. So the goal here is essentially to set up this infrastructure so that all special
projects partners and products coming out of the Stongbrokers EECO have access to all of the traders,
all of the centralized exchanges, all of the users we can get in crypto. And then hopefully a lot of
those top products that coming through ecosystem will go to the top of the funnel. They'll get listed
and essentially still have a lot of upsides still because we don't want to use NORMI's as
exo liquidity. We want to give NORMI's upside to in the products that come out of our EECO. And then
hopefully long-term with Stongbroker, you'll have like three or four blue chip tokens, products
come out of our ecosystem every cycle.
