Like many beginners, I was eager to explore so I jumped into penetration testing and different security tools on platforms like TriakMe. I eventually realized I was learning the tools without fully understanding the fundamentals behind them. That made me take a step back and start building my foundation properly. I recently completed introduction to cybersecurity on Netacad. I'm currently learning networking fundamentals as well. I've also completed three remote cybersecurity intentions. We gave me practical exposure and also taught me the importance of teamwork. I've learned to communicate clearly, comprehend, collaborate with others and be open to feedback because in cybersecurity technical skills are not enough. The more I learn, the more curious I become and I realize that I want to take my journey in the direction of cloud security. Particularly interested in understanding our cloud environment, how they can be secured and how security applied across the infrastructure. At this point, I'm looking for guidance and structure. I want to learn from someone who has worked this part, ask better questions. Do the right skills in the right order and move from simply learning about cybersecurity to actually becoming capable of applying it. I took my first cyber security calls in 2021 just to stay safe online. Then set it down for four years. In 2025, I picked it up or properly and realized it was the state investigative work only with systems. Then the Google cyber security certificate then that the flight and service security. And I'm working through security plus now. I built a home level once the Stinglicher Bites machine in very dirty track after spend 30 days until it across my own network. So it's eight projects came out of that. And the one I'm most proud of is a capstone if we incident report on Iran somewhere and double a social attack from first a last truth to retain finding. I mean, in the last stage of a competitive internship where people get caught at every stage and a few of all running groups help each other through the weekly task. I'm so surprised that there's a lot of people here who cyber security was a passion. But for me, journey the military was I'm trying to undergraduate years. I was fully on that part during university. I joined the Nigerian located call starting from the last chunk and eventually rising to the command dance. But I think some of my friends will group together in the same area. I will join the military returning cascades. I took a step back from that career parts. And then I started looking for another career that I could move to that was safe and where my degree has a criminologist can offer me a foundation. And that led me to cyber security. And I think that's as well relates a lot to cyber security when you're investigating something. And I got started some years ago and I got lost. But then I found the courage to keep moving. And for nearly two years now, I've been on an intense safe learning journey. I've actively built on own labs to align with so-analysed level one and level two responsibility. What has kept me going is how fascinating the feed is and how constantly the feed is evolving. I find out that I'm using and it keeps me very curious.
