**Overview:** This is a casual podcast episode where the host starts early because a co-host is out sick, chats with a guest named Zach and a new listener “Mr. Dude” about extreme heat in Arkansas, then shifts into a political discussion about Bill Clinton’s presidency and the necessity of narcissism in presidential candidates. **Key Points:** - The show usually runs Monday–Thursday from 5–7:30 PM, but started early today because a co-host has a migraine; the wife/"Stock Mom" will join around 5 PM. - Weather talk: It’s mild in New York (80s), but Arkansas is extremely hot—98°F with a 107°F heat index, described humorously as “the devil’s ass crack.” - Health advice for extreme heat: drink plenty of water, Gatorade, or add a little salt to water to stay hydrated and avoid dehydration. - A cold front with thunderstorms is expected around 7 PM, which should cool things down into the 70s or 60s. - Political discussion: Bill Clinton was a skilled politician who adjusted toward the center after the 1994 Republican wipeout (Newt Gingrich’s “Contract with America”). - The speakers argue Clinton’s early convention speeches sounded populist/pro-immigration-enforcement and pro-law-enforcement—positions that wouldn’t fly in today’s Democratic conventions. - They agree that anyone running for president needs narcissistic qualities, including Donald Trump—it’s practically a job requirement. - The host welcomes Mr. Dude to the space, explaining the norms: new speakers are welcome if they make sense and aren’t there to troll or disrupt. **Conclusion/Recommendation:** This is a laid-back, conversational political/current-events podcast—if you enjoy informal banter mixed with political commentary, stop by during their regular Monday–Thursday 5 PM slots.

feeling well today, so we're giving her a day off. And we'll probably go to around seven, around seven when I get out of here from my podcast. Stockman will be in around five-ish. So I figured before we'll just start it now, whatever, get going. And that's it, talk about whatever, go up to the tons of stuff going on. So, but nobody knows where started right now, because obviously they think it's five o'clock, but whatever, it is what it is. And we'll just go from there. I don't know. I get Zach up here. What's going on, Zach? Send you hear me, good, Zach. I'm ready. You're always ready. Yep. That's me. You're always ready, though. What's going on down in your neck at a woods today? Not much is this cloudy, though. Yeah, is it hot? Very hot. Yeah. It's hot up here, but it's not tight. It's nice up here. It's been, right? The weather's been good, for the most part this summer, except whatever. You get those thunderstorms in the afternoon, but other than that, it's been pretty good. Been warm, which I want for the summer. Doesn't last long. But the way you are gets a little, probably a little, little hot. One was seven. Two warm. What is it? 107? Yeah, that's too much. That's too hot. That's too hot. Same five degrees out there, but it's 107 heating. It's heating, it's heating, takes. 95, and it feels like 107? Yep. Yeah, that's hot. That's, you can't really do much out there like that. And if you are out there, be careful and drink a lot of water. And a lot of gatorade or something, because that's dangerous. Or put a little salt in your water just a little bit to, uh, hydrate it. Yeah, yeah. If you don't have gatorade, definitely put a little salt, because the water isn't going to cut it. Nope. Not for long, anyway. You'll still get dehydrated. People don't realize that. You need salt. You need, yep. Need that. But, yeah, I mean, here I don't even know what the temperature. It's probably in the 80s today. You know, not bad, not humid, just nice day. So, can't complain, can't complain. And if you do complain, you know what? Nobody cares anyways, Zach. Three, my brain, here, here, about, uh, 7 p.m. Thunderstorms? Yep, 7 p.m. It's a trigger, damn. With that kind of heat, yeah. You kind of, you kind of, you kind of, you kind of expected every if it's that hot. That's for sure. The issue. Yeah, it actually isn't a bad, it was supposed to cool off after that or it was just going to get like a steam bath after that. Yeah, supposed to go off till about 70s after that. Or 60s. All right, so good. So that's a cold front coming through then. But yeah, the worst is when it's that hot and then it rains and then it's just no relief and it's actually worse. And it's just literally like a steam shower. It's horrible. That's, that's, oh man, those are brutal. I'm complaining and I'm up here in New York. I mean, down south, I'm sure away with brutal. Brutal. All right. What do we got, Mr. Dude 2017? What's going on? I was sitting here listening, y'all, complaining about the heat and the narcosons. 98 with 107 heat index. It's so hot, it says like I'm in the devil's ass crack. You said Arkansas. Yes sir. All right, awesome. Oh, the home state of Bill Clinton. That's the one we are famous. We gave the whole country our bad juju. You know, the crazy thing about Bill Clinton, he wasn't, he wasn't a horrible, he was, he was not a good, listen, he did a lot of things now to look back to you. Like, but while he was in office, he was smart enough to realize, especially in the first, I think it was the first midterm when Republicans wiped him out. And I think that was Newt Gingrich's contract with America. And he realized I better work with these guys if I'm going to get reelected. And then he actually did. So he was a much better politician than his wife ever could dream of being. And he's probably a much better politician than most of the people in the Democrat party right now to be honest with you. I wholeheartedly agree with you, although he can push pretty far left. Yeah, as Newt Gingrich, it pulled him, pulled him to the center. And Bill Clinton knew re-election depended upon a re-re-re-re-adjustment of his political views. And you're right, it was the contract with America that gave America a balanced budget plus Bill Clinton's taking credit for it. And the Democrats are giving him the credit, but it wasn't him. That's correct. That's correct. You know, I was, I was, I was the first election I ever voted was in 1992. And I was younger. And he was, you listen to Bill Clinton's convention speeches then. Sounds a lot of stuff. Sounds like populist Donald Trump stuff. A lot of it. Smaller government, not that he was ever going to do it, but law enforcement, pro law enforcement, pro, immigration enforcement, trying to cut the size of the government, stuff like that. Yes, he was definitely left, but he wouldn't be allowed. That speech wouldn't be allowed at the Democratic convention now if you put a gun to their head. I think what was that like at the convention two and a half hours speech? Oh my gosh, I didn't think that guy would ever shut up. Yeah, he certainly liked to hear himself. That's for sure. No doubt. I mean, listen, anybody that's a president, that's even going to run for president. You have to be have some narcissistic qualities. Or else you can't. Look, look at Donald Trump. He loves to hear him talk to himself. No, that he does. He sure does. Listen, like I said, if you're not a narcissist, you can't run for president because there's just no way you'd be able to tolerate everything they throw at you and just think you're still the greatest things in sliced bread. That is so true. That is so true. Yeah. So when people like Donald Trump's a narcissist, I'm like, well, yeah, you kind of have to be. Well, you just want to say and. Yeah, exactly. And what president wasn't? Yeah, yeah. Well, I'm glad to be in this group this time as can pay attention to the posting in my little group that I was in. And I wanted to come over and check you all out. All right, well, well, listen, we usually started 5 p.m. and we're Monday to Thursday. But today we started a little bit early because one of our co-hosts came down with a migraine and we just given her the day off. So I figured I'd jump in and I'd host. We rotate. I host on Tuesdays and Thursdays. She hosts a Monday and Wednesday. And my wife, who's a stock mom, she'll be in here probably around five. She does a stuff in the economy. And we do that Monday to Thursday. But so I figured I just I'd jump in and host it today and just start a little early. And we're probably going to end it a little early. So usually go to about 7.30 but today we'll end it around 7. Because I also have a podcast that I do starting at 7 o'clock Monday to Friday. It's called Secret America. So happy to have you here. And hopefully you know, stick around up here. If you have anything. We want it pretty much. You know, throw in and make people throw there. Hit their hands up if they want to speak for the most part, just to keep order and keep it kind of sane. But yeah, I don't know if this is your first time here, Mr. Dude, but glad to have you and definitely keep checking us out. I think you'll enjoy this space. All right, excellent. We love new speakers. We love that. We love bringing new people up here, letting the space grow. And as long as the people that come up, even if they don't agree with us 100%, as long as they make sense and aren't here to just troll and just to invade and disrupt and wreck spaces, like space records, that's then we're good. And we move on. But that's how we run it here. So anyway, guys, last night was interesting. Last night was interesting in Wisconsin and Minnesota. I don't know where I'm at. I start with Minnesota because Wisconsin was like the main event with Francesca Wong and the guy who beat her is his name is Crowley. I didn't even know who she was running against. I gotta be honest, I'm not from Wisconsin. I don't live in Wisconsin. Hang on one second. Let me just get Barbie up here. Barbie, can you hear me? I can hear you. Perfect. You can hear me too. It's my miracle. Here we go. All right. We're off to a good start. So yeah, Barbie, I was just talking about, I was just starting on Minnesota and Wisconsin. So do you remember, Barbie, when we were talking, when Michael and Dell, I think I sent it to you when I first heard it when he mentioned Ann and Steve. Yes. Yes. I think it was late at night too, when I said. Yeah, we were really pissed of death, yeah. Yeah, and right there we said it. We're like, oh, he's done, I mean, he torpedoed himself. I, I, I've never, it was like he was trying to torpedo himself, right? Like what was he thinking? And then he didn't back off. He kept going. What is so weird? Because he's totally not like, he's, it's very weird. He's not establishment at all. No. No. Not backed by the establishment. He's not supported by the establishment. When I say establishment, I mean like the Don Bacon type of, you know, like that, like, or the Langford people, like those kind of people. I, it was very strange for me. I, I just, I don't know. We went from like voting machines symposiums to like, amnesty for all. I was kind of like, what just happened here? Like, I couldn't believe it. I sent that to you and I think you were like, wait, what? What is this? I was like, I don't know. I don't know where this came from. What is he doing? And then you figure like the next day, he might come out and back off and roll it back and say, oh, I didn't mean it like that. I, I guess I use a, you cannot say the word amnesty if you're a Republican. You cannot say the word. It is a four-letter word. It is the worst word. It's worse than the CU next Tuesday word when it comes to being a Republican. You cannot say amnesty unless you put the word no before it. That's it. The only way you say amnesty is when you say no. It's like not controversial. Honestly, it's like the one topic that I feel like is no longer controversial in the Republican party is immigration, Joe Biden and a Democrat. Did you just destroy that entire line of reasoning? Sure, we have a bunch of like these siops with like the CCP funded like protests and whatever, protesting Trump's immigration. But in reality, like almost all normal people want a secure border and they want the people who came under Biden's lead, at least those people, at least like, there's an amnesty. I don't know. It's quite some wild talking point for a Republican. I'm very confused by it still. Still, still. And I wonder if he's ever going to come out and just give us an explanation. I don't know if he has. I haven't heard it, but I'd like one. If Ronald Reagan could wake, you know, awaken from the grave and go back to 19, I think 85 or 86, whenever he made that horrible handesty deal with Ted Kennedy and a couple other people, I think he would. I think he would. Because guess what, guys, since 1988, his vice president, George H.W. Bush, he's the last Republican to win California. Why do you think that is? It's because of Reagan's handesty deal. That's it. That was the biggest blunder I think of Ronald Reagan's, would I remember and probably history judges as a pretty good president. But that, that, I mean, it's unforgivable. Look what's happened with it. Here's what we know about Democrats. You give an inch, they take everything. And it's not going to be it they're going to take everything right away. It'll mission creep and mission creep. It's the same thing with abortion. We were discussing that a lot yesterday. Well, it was safe and rare. Now it's safe, not rare, and now up to birth. Or whatever. Now, you know what I mean? You give an inch and they never stop. Same thing with the Second Amendment. And they'll do the same thing with the First Amendment. They already tried to do it. Want a platform like this. They never stop. The train never stops. The creep never stops. They're always trying to move the ball forward on their agenda. Republicans, the best we ever get, except with President Trump, who does try to take their progress and shove them back. And I always use the football field analogy. I got that from Andrew Wilkow. He's the only one that tries to push them back down the other side of the field. Every other Republican, all they do with the very most is pause it. And as soon as that Republicans gone, it's right back quarterbacks back on the center. Let's go. We're going for the winning touchdown. And Kamala Harris, if she won, that was the winning touchdown. That was it. Game over. And guess what? In 2026 coming up now in the midterms, they're going to be if they win, they are back on the one the outline on our one-yard line. And we have to make another goal on stand in 2028, like we did in 2024. So that's what I'm saying. For Michael and Dell, I just don't get it. Like you said, Barbie, voting machines and everything's rigged. I have the proof. And this and that and great. Keep going. Let's see the evidence. All that stuff. Good for you. To amnesty. I don't understand it. I don't understand it. Anyway. Do you have anything else in that Barbie? You're good. Sorry. I got a phone call from my husband because the teacher's list came out. So like all of our like play day groups are all like, who did your child get? Oh, God. Oh, God. I'm laughing. I'm laughing because of course they are all like separate classes. It's just funny. I don't know. I think that might be worse than politics. And you know, it's funny because.
