She's probably the perfect teammate for Caitlin. Like honestly, now what I've said that three years ago? Probably not, but like as of right now, Kelsey Mitchell is the perfect teammate for Caitlin. She has absolutely no ego. And as of right now, bro, she don't, she don't, she don't miss a shot. Like she doesn't miss shots. It's pretty impressive. And what I've noticed, right? Like I don't know if you guys have noticed either. Like maybe the way she like practices, the way she speaks is a lot different than it was three years ago. I almost get to sense like like Kelsey Mitchell got a taste of almost getting to the finals. And it's like I really think Kelsey Mitchell is very hungry for a championship. And that's the type of player you need around Caitlin. Like like seriously, when I say hungry for a championship, I mean starving, you know? The way she ended her season last year was very heartbreaking. And I could just tell she came into this season with that in her mind. Her defense has gotten better. I don't necessarily think it was all that great today, but just in general, I think her defense has gotten better. I never thought I'd see Kelsey Mitchell's defense get better. I never thought I'd see her become more efficient in what she always has been. So like in games like this too, right? Where Alia Boston may not be playing the best, we're not really getting anything from anybody else other than my shea Heinz Allen. Kelsey Mitchell was right there with Caitlin. I just can't imagine anybody else being on this specific team with Caitlin. I don't know, Jackie Young, whoever bro, anybody else, anyone, like honestly maybe besides Asia Wilson, I don't know if there's another person that could be on this team besides Caitlin. And one thing I think they've kind of figured out between them two is, like these awards don't really mean shit. I think they're very serious about winning a charity chip. Like I really do. And we know if they're gonna win a championship, like Caitlin and Kelsey are gonna have to be on, for what is it? Two, five, for nine games, just nine games and it's playoff run. It just needs to be nine games that they're on. And I don't know, maybe I didn't say enough, but I'm just very impressed, right? Because it's, I, like I look at this, okay? I'll say this. I think Caitlin is very lucky to have someone who can score better than her on this team. I don't look at that as like a slight. I think it's very, she's very lucky to have someone that she can pass the ball to and they can go get a bucket. They can make a layup, they can hit a three. What she's shooting 45 plus percent from three? That is a fucking blessing to have this person on our team. And I just hope like the fan base, whatever, don't take that for granted. Because I don't think there could be another person that could be as good of a teammate as Kelsey is. And that goes for all the court too. You notice every time they bring up, every time Kelsey is interviewed, I think she makes a point to bring up Caitlin. You know, I don't know if anybody's noticed that. So it makes a point. She's like, oh, that's my dog. Oh, I gotta do it for them or da da da da da da da. Like, I think that's my purpose. Again, I don't think that would have happened three years ago, but I think this is serious for her this year. I think she really wants to win. Okay, Rosie, how many people on the roster wanna win? Cause if they don't win, if they don't even get to the finals, what am I doing with this group of players? So this is Dean. I think what's so important that Kelsey has followed this path, cause remember, Kaylyn is the first person to talk about championship with this team. Kaylyn brought that to this team. I think Kelsey Mitchell followed suit with that. And you know what's very important to play off leadership. And that might not like mean a lot to you like right now, but like having your best two players, lead like this, not only like with their play, but with their words, that is, I think is way more important than you think we really think it is. Like I would take our team a hundred percent over the Valkyries or over shit over the links for real, simply because of that. Oh wow. Simply because of that. They don't have the leadership we have.
