you know, you know, shout out to Nate.
I'm subscribed to his Patreon, that listens to his videos all the time.
And I remember he had a particular guest.
And this particular guest was very impressive and he was able to do a deep dive on XRP
from a technical perspective.
And that's pretty much, it's hard to find when, especially when you're scaring YouTube,
Patreon, any medium to find someone who actually knows what they're talking about, per documentation,
what they've researched, et cetera, et cetera.
And a little background about myself, I'm Mitch, I'm with the XRP Army, a core contributor
to the XRP Army token.
We're talking on the XRPO.
Blue collar XRP investor, I consider myself, I do have a technical background, I am
IT engineer by trade, CCNA certified, so I do know a lot about computer networks.
And since the beginning, since I've been in crypto, I've always transmuted my network
knowledge to blockchain because it's very similar in terms of architecture.
And I always imagined crypto to be very, how do you say, adjacent to TCPIP and the seven
layers of the internet TCPIP model, the OSI model.
And whenever I hear someone who could break down it, break down blockchain, XRP, any
other ISO token from a technical perspective, I tend to listen in.
So I have to introduce our guests tonight, Apex, Jesse, I know you go by Jesse, I may
call you Apex, I apologize.
No, I don't mind Apex is the branding, right?
So if you say Jesse, nobody knows how to find me, so if you say Apex script to everybody,
sometimes you get a lot of shout outs to Jesse, you gotta go follow Jesse, I'm like,
oh man, they don't know who that Jesse is.
They're gonna say this thing.
Exactly.
I'll never find Jesse, I appreciate it.
No worries.
So I know you have 16, 17,000 followers on X, you have about, I think, is it 30,000
followers on or subscribers on YouTube?
And you mentioned that you have 20,000 hours of research, man.
That is impressive.
Like I said, it's a testament, it's an honor to be on the space we're speaking to you.
I know we had these spaces before.
We had a space with not financial advice.
Crypto, that was more on the riddling side.
We spoke to Bird who's a big influencer on the meme coin space.
But this is the first time we're speaking to someone who has that technical aptitude,
a researcher, and someone that's, you know, you're rocketing up, man.
We're gonna talk about what happened recently in the space in terms of a particular ISO
token.
But I wanted you to start to, you know, whoever's not familiar with Jesse or Apex, I want
you to give a brief overview.
You know, your background and what led you to be a researcher and what specifically led
you to ISO token such as Qwan and XRP?
Yeah, I appreciate.
So first of all, I appreciate again you having me on the show.
It's really an honor, I appreciate everybody joining.
I kind of started my journey a little over roughly nine years ago.
Somebody ran and I was at a coffee shop at just changed cities and somebody literally
just, like he's sitting two tables away from me and he's like, hey, have you heard
of Bitcoin?
And started talking about Bitcoin and I started digging and media stumbled on XRP.
And I realized they were working with the central banks and everything.
And I had spent like 20 years researching the central banking system, mainstream media,
the intelligence agencies, all this stuff, you know, the Rockefellers, all these deep stuff.
And when I realized they were working with the central banks and started digging, like,
I realized I just got deeper and deeper.
And so just became absolutely obsessed researching, you know, seven to ten hours per day, almost
every single day for the last nine years, just almost kind of dropped my business completely.
And about five, maybe in 2020 during the pandemic, I started researching Qwan and then I was
like, oh my goodness.
So that's pretty much my story.
I saw, you know, you know, how is this technology transformation?
Or what does it mean to go to the fourth industrial age?
If these are internet being built, like the internet value and quant, the internet of
trust, like what does it mean to be an internet?
What is the actual utility value of an internet?
You know, XRP can they can they confiscate that just every, everything you can possibly
imagine, researching like complete madman.
I've always been really strong with Matt and then the local stuff extremely strong.
It helped me connect thoughts.
And I started my channel a little over a year ago, maybe a year and four months ago, maybe
doing like seven to eight videos per month, not too many.
And it was very blessed and fortunate to channel group pretty quick considering a very big
bear market, like worst bear market plan at Earth.
And not doing that many videos.
And then here I am being invited by awesome people like you.
And that's pretty much my story.
But I would like to ask you permission though if you don't mind.
Some things I'm going to want to explain.
I'm going to have to explain is I'll probably have to go in some long rants.
So I just want to ask permission and ask, you know, apologize in advance.
If that's okay with you.
Of course, listen, you are our guest.
You can go as long as this rants as you want because you know, one thing about XRP people
are ISO 2022, talking people.
We understand the technology and we do have an appreciation for the technology.
I honestly, you know, I've been binge watching your videos in preparation for this space.
But honestly, I enjoy watching your videos.
Why?
Because you can't really find the type of content that you produce on YouTube, on Patreon,
on the other mediums.
No one can really break down the tech side of things.
So you don't have to apologize if you go on a rant.
That's fine.
You know, a lot of people can tell you that I'm very passionate and I also go on rants
of myself.
But yeah, man, listen, this space is going to be geared towards that tech side.
I know we may sound like Moonboys at some point, but that's okay.
But yeah, man, if you want to start anywhere particular, I did want to start with one particular
token.
And I know we are XRP people, you know, the meme coin people on the XRPL and most of the people
tuning in now who follow Army.
We are XRP people inherently.
However, there is a particular ISO token that's pretty much been taking headlines the last
seven days, the last two weeks.
Last seven, yeah, it's been like a week.
It's been up nearly 400% from its low to its peak, which is I think, if I check the chart
now, it's trending at $300.
Can you explain what you're seeing with Quant right now, right?
And I would say during the last video I watched with you and Nate, you called it.
You basically said Quant's about to go on a run.
Now that's not verbatim, but you basically said Quant is pretty much coiled to take the
next step and lo and behold, it did.
So what are your thoughts?
Oh, boy.
Okay.
So this is rent number one.
Okay.
So yeah.
And Quant hasn't even started.
The fact of the matter is Quant right now sitting at 3 billion market cap.
It has a thousand, a million more use cases than Ethereum has because it's pretty much unlimited
use cases and you'll understand which explain everything.
And so almost unlimited use cases and sitting at 3 billion and, you know, 3 billion market
cap with very little supply.
Ethereum went to 600 billion market cap all time high.
So I mean, once you understand how huge it is, so basically what I want people to understand
first is that like XRP and Quant are not competing.
XRP is the internal value.
It allows us to convert any type of asset to any other type of asset.
It's a bridge asset.
So the XRP ledger with its built in exchange decentralized exchange, the order books, the
AMMs, you know, the multi hot pet finding technology, all that stuff.
Plus everything else with RippleNet.
That's the internal value and it's allows it gives us liquidity to go from any type of
asset to any other type of asset.
And Quant is the internal of trust.
So Quant's an overlay, excuse me one second.
Sorry, I'll have to unmute myself, just clear my trophy with time here.
It's acid reflux and I ate like a big few minutes ago.
So you apologize.
No worries, man.
So Quant's the internal of trust.
So we've only had ever one internet in history, like a network like TCP IP we've ever
have one, ever it was the most transformational technology in history.
We've never seen anything bring so much change in advantages to society.
And that was the internal information.
So but we have two more internet being built right now.
That's the internal value and the internal trust.
Both of them have a token positioned to capture the value of these intranets, which we didn't
have in the first internet that was built.
So that's why I see ridiculous, ridiculous value for these tokens.
That's one of the reasons.
So Quant, Gilbert Verde and the founder of Quant is, and guys I'll just tell you straight
up, I spent 9,000 hours roughly for switching XRP.
You won't find a bigger maxi than me when it comes to XRP and I spent probably close
to 5,000 hours of researching Quant.
And Quant is might be even bigger, okay?
It's not a joke.
And you'll understand why after I go on all these crazy rounds.
So Gilbert Verde is one of the top cybersecurity experts in the world.
He was responsible for protecting critical national infrastructure.
So basically he was one responsible for the cybersecurity of the UK Treasury and protecting
the pound.
He also worked in the faster payment task force, Federal Reserve.
I mean, the guy is a goat.
20 years ago he wrote a paper explain because the cybersecurity world, the internet was never
made to move money.
When they created the internet protocol TCIP years ago, they didn't know that we were going
to move money on it.
They didn't know that the internet was going to become what it became today.
And he wrote a paper 20 years ago explaining that the internet was never made to move value.
And he had a vision to create an overlay, another layer on top of the internet that would
allow value to move from any network to any network.
Because if you look at the internet, the TCIP, the internet means interconnecting networks.
So he had a vision 20 years ago so that value could move on the internet from any network
to any network, but at time, well, publicly they didn't have the technology.
So, he had that vision already.
And then when the Bitcoin white paper came along and this, the Bitcoin story is completely
BS, by the way.
David Schwartz had the patent 1989 for distributed computer system.
The NSA produces a paper on cryptography how to create a mint on 1996.
So, you know, I'm saying Bitcoin, but the Bitcoin story is completely BS.
It's the NSA that created Bitcoin years ago.
And I could share this story with that later.
So he says that once he saw blockchain technology come along, he realized like we can
do, we can know he felt that he could now create what he had that vision to create, which
was an overlay for the internet.
And so why?
So he's mad.
There's so much stuff to share.
Don't even know where to start.
So why is, when we say a lot of people, you'll hear sometimes people say, oh, what quants
like the new Microsoft Windows, but most people just kind of say that more referencing, you
know, oh, it's it Microsoft was a very, very big company.
It was massive.
It was kind of crucial during the internet, whatever.
But I think most people don't really realize why some of us say, no, no, this is the, this
is Microsoft Windows because we had, we had four industrial ages.
We had the agricultural age, the manufacturing age, the information age, which was the internet.
And now we're going to the Fort Industrial Age, which is the tokenization age and AI.
But when we went from the second industrial age, like the manufacturing age to the third
industrial age, which was the information age, the internet, Microsoft Windows was an operating
system that was created that was absolutely crucial to allow us to go to the third industrial
age.
Without Microsoft Windows, it never would have happened.
So quant is doing the same thing.
And this is why this is so big.
It's one of a billion reasons why quant is so big.
And so, so what Microsoft Windows did just so you understand in parallel with what
Kwan is doing here is when the internet came along, it's almost like everybody knew there
was this new place that was amazing.
And you could do a gazillion things, but nobody knew how to get there.
So Microsoft Windows, it's almost like they created a big red button.
You just press the rig button and boom, you're now in the internet world.
Microsoft Windows allowed all your different computer components to interoperate with one
another and also interoperate with the internet and allow us to build applications on top
of the internet.
And this is where everything exploded.
Like we were now able to build applications over the internet and then it grew and grew
and they added some protocols and standards and this and that and standards for emails
and so on.
But it was really Microsoft that was one of the most crucial components for the internet
actually having adoption.
So Gilbert Vrooming, being one of top cyber security experts in the world, he understood
internet architecture, he understood security, he worked with essential banks, he knew what
the world needed in order to be able to adopt blockchain properly.
So he said, you know, we can't build these layer two, it was layer three, layer 15 is bullshit.
People are getting this is why they're getting hacked.
It does not work.
You need to create an operating system.
So him and his team started working on that like five, six years ago and literally
they built quite over ledger, which allows every single, because right now the issue with
moving into the Fort Industrial Age and in allowing all the different industries to start
using blockchain is that all of these different industries all over the world where you're talking
healthcare, global trade, you're talking trade finance, supply chain management, aerospace,
agriculture, it doesn't matter insurance.
They cannot speak to blockchain.
They're systems that they're using are what we call legacy systems.
