I think he got dropped off the stage all good either way.
If anyone wants to jump in,
like I said, there's not too much big today,
but I wanted to keep these spaces going just so that,
oh, there we go, how's it going, man?
Good, good, can you hear me?
Yeah, I got you.
Thanks for joining today.
Yes, sir, yes, sir.
But yeah, we filed for the IP last week
for the trademark around the original post.
That's gonna, you know, everyone knows
that takes a while to do so it was just a filing,
but it was still a big movement towards a lot of things
that this Dow can do.
So it's gonna be really cool, right?
Like we want to make sure that the Dow holds that IP
that'll be set up whenever that goes through.
The Dow itself is finishing up.
The paperwork is with the Marshall Islands right now
to get that finalized.
And we're just waiting on them to approve it.
So once that happens, there'll be like the votes
and everything and we'll keep everyone posted
on how that goes.
But yeah, you'll be able to vote with your tokens,
vote with, you know, set up proposals,
do all kinds of stuff.
And it really gives everything control wise
back to you guys, the community, you know.
So I added a bunch of people up on the stage
if anyone's got any questions or wants to talk about anything,
let's do it.
Yo, no, I just came to listen
because someone was chilling at Honest Bay's earlier.
It was like constantly.
So I was interested.
So yeah, I'm just dead so it's all isn't to you.
Yeah, I appreciate it.
It's, I feel like I've told the story
like a billion times now,
but I can kind of go through it again
where like it all started
because I was posting on really shitty message boards
back in like the 2000s and a bunch of troll forums
that have been on four chants since like 2004
and all that stuff.
And like ended up coming across an ad on Reddit
that had like an image carousel
and had the pictures of dogs on it.
And one was the famous Shiba Inu
and the other was the Korgi.
And I posted it with the caption of like L&B
like this fucking doge
and it got some upvotes.
And like I kind of had forgotten about it
for a couple of years
until all of a sudden all these memes
start popping up calling at that.
And I found it, I guess like it got in a Reddit ad
because whenever they would fill unused ad space
they would pointed at a subreddit or whatever
back before Reddit was garbage.
And it pointed, it was just a random ad.
I don't even think it was just like filling up
they're like 300 by 250 space or whatever
for no reason.
And then I made the post with it.
And it got some attention
but it didn't really go too far at the time.
And then all of a sudden like the Comic Sans comes up.
I think that was like Shiba Confessions
was the name of it.
And then Billy made Dogecoin.
And that's how this all started, right?
It was like Billy made a tweet or a post saying that
like oh no, some other guy made L&B
like at this doge on, you know, as the original post.
And that was how people found me again.
So that was where this all kicked off.
So kind of crazy stuff all around.
But it's really cool because like the woman
who owned Kabozo the dog
posted the picture on her blog.
And I don't know how they found it to put on a rented ad.
But someone did.
It was only like a couple of months before the ad
and before my post that she put the famous picture up.
And that's where it all kind of snowballed.
And then you could see like on my pinned post
I've got the picture of me actually meeting the like
actually my second time meeting the dog.
But when they when on the doge unveiled the statue
of the doge in 2023, I think Kabozo at that time was like 18 years old
because it was for the dog's birthday.
The statue's still there today.
People can go visit it just about an hour east of Tokyo
in Sakura Chiba, Japan.
So you can go check it out anytime in one of their parks.
It kind of gives some of the backstory on it.
And yeah, it was really cool.
I actually met the dog first time at Ethereum DevCon
like 2019 I think it was in Osaka where she brought the dog
down to the to the event and the talik was there
and wanted to pet the dog and all this other stuff.
And I think they had met before that too
where he went to her house.
And there's been all kinds of weird stuff around this.
So like whenever the couch was getting moved,
the couch that the dog took the picture of the dog is on
someone and ended up winning that couch
and auction run by Pleaserdale.
And so Pleaserdale auctioned it off.
The funds went to charity and it had to move, right?
So like I work in shipping primarily.
So I had a lot of connections around that stuff
because there was a lot of weird questions about like,
well how do we move a used couch
and they ship it from Japan to the US.
So I got that all organized, worked with a lot of my friends
on like the freight forwarding side
and getting it picked up and moving it.
Shipped over the ocean, ended up in San Francisco
and it's in the X headquarters building today.
It's actually in a restaurant in it at the bottom floor.
So it's sitting where, you know,
if Elon's in San Francisco, he can go see it,
which is pretty cool.
John, it's a pleasure meeting you.
I'm your mom, really nice coin you got here.
I love the lore.
I really like the C.A. OG Doge.
How did you come about getting that?
That's super unique.
I bought like, I don't know, 24 hours ago.
One of your community members onboarded me
when I was in a space and I really like what I see.
What you're doing with this coin, the lock,
the holder count, you know, 3.2 K, very strong.
We're battling in conditions like horrible conditions,
but you know, we're bouncing back
and I just really like what I'm seeing
with the community and this narrative
and the lore behind it, it's absolutely epic.
So how'd you get that C.A though?
Like, that's crazy.
So there's a way on command line
where you can derive Solana contract addresses
and it's basically brute forcing it
and then you can take that at issues you, the key pair
and then launch based on that.
So that way it goes through the normal like pump flow
and everything like that,
but you can launch using that custom C.A.,
which is pretty cool.
And I think that there's a few others that have done it,
but nobody else really does.
They just kind of like hit the button and go
versus put much thought into it
where it helps kind of weed out
like you can get rid of scammers and stuff like that
and prevent them from trying to like take over,
you know, control the narrative or whatever.
But.
Absolutely.
It's a it's a community thing anyway, like great.
Like the meme already was like way beyond me
and it was a lot of people that caused the meme
to become a meme, so it wasn't just me.
Like I made the post and then someone did the Comic Sans
and then Dogecoin and all this other stuff, right?
So like that's why it's a Dow
and that's why I wanted to make sure
that the community controls it all.
So like there has to be elections for this Dow
and then any of the votes are just purely community driven.
I like that.
Yeah, super unique, John.
Are you doing like fees, like creative fees?
Are you doing like buybacks or anything?
Or yeah, I had been and then some of it went
towards the fees of like setting up this Dow, right?
Cause there's like legal costs and all that stuff.
Oh, I believe it.
It's awesome, yeah.
Yeah, it's just wanted to get my take on it
really strong coin and yeah, once we get to the levels
where I believe we're headed,
we're just gonna gig a pump this for you.
So I'm not able to talk on the price side
just so everyone knows like I can't do that stuff
cause I live in the US and that's just is what it is
but I'm here for everything.
So just keep that in mind.
Appreciate it, John.
Yeah, for sure.
I'd like to hop in real quick and ask a question.
So John, can you talk a little bit
about the tokenomics, like the burns
versus the lockups and stuff like that?
Yeah, early on.
So like when the relaunch and everything happened,
there was questions about it
but then we ended up doing like a burn of 76 million.
Like you know, you launch with a billion on this
like as the standard, right?
So like 7.6% was burned, 100 million was locked
in the sign of the Dow and that's gonna go towards
the Dow directly.
Like none of that is gonna be held by me.
Let's say 50 million was locked for 10 years.
That was kind of like arbitrary.
I'm not really sure why I did that
but it was kind of a, hey, it worked out
and it's locked up now for 10 years.
You know, assuming 10 years from now it all goes well,
that'll just get released of the Dow too.
So that way it's controlled by the community
and perpetuity.
Okay, thank you very, very much.
Did we have another question handraised?
What's going on, John?
So once it called, I actually, we used to talk here
and there on an account that I lost
with my docs, one, David Gonzalez.
But I'm beyond bullish.
Like I liked that the chart has its own price discovery.
Like every candle's gonna have its down
but you guys have the most amazing community members.
Like UMGD must not have a big bag
because I've got a big bag of you guys
and I believe because I don't know if you guys
know this but like, Doge is like Pokemon but crypto.
And like, this token has a lot of potential, dude.
Like I am like, I'm building a bot right now
because Doge is obviously on its own chain
independent cross from slona.
So I'm using a lot of cross reference tools
and finding like kind of ecosystems that correlate
and we can identify a lot of these people
and in person because I believe
that every Doge holder would be interested in this.
Just because of the Pokemon, like craze,
like the people that love Doge are literally the most
insane crypto holders.
They've held longer in meme coins
than anybody in history.
And yeah, fucking way higher.
And thank you very much OG Doge,
probably in but yeah, I'm gonna continue
buying until all time.
100%.
For sure, I did appreciate that.
It's really like a lot of the Doge coin community,
like I'd say like 95% are awesome.
There's like some toxic, you know, people,
but it's just so big that that is what it is.
No, I know the original team that you launched with
and I just I wanna say, yeah, like I could have seen that
from a mile away, but I'm stoked
that you got back on the horse and did it right.
And we're here for long term.
Yeah, the Sheepal crew, big fans, big fans of Doge.
And like I said, I should have that bot done
by this afternoon, but it isolates basically
a large long term public Doge holders.
And I suggest you guys use all those unique tools too
because this is a fucking center.
Well, and like I said, it's all, what was that?
I'm not sure, but yeah, I mean, look at Doge and crypto.
There is not a more significant meme financially
than Doge, you know, the world's richest man, Elon Musk,
the first trillionaire in the world, right?
His favorite meme is Doge.
Like Doge, what is the meme that has made crypto accessible
and made it like really, I guess just touch,
read the retail audience, like Bitcoin Ethereum,
all these tokens felt way too established and, you know,
way too smart, I guess, for the average person.
And Doge is what really allowed people to, you know,
step up into this financial world
where someone can enter the game with $1,000 or $2,000
or even $50 and become millionaires
and just, you know, a few weeks or months or years.
Like you can really go from nothing
to something in this space.
And I think a massive bridge in doing that
and making retail have this much, I guess,
just having this much like a tension in the game
and like it all started, oh, my bad.
It all started with Doge, right?
Like the Doge meme really made retail thing, okay,
I can buy a picture of a dog and change my life, right?
There is nothing as significant as the Doge meme
as far as life changing opportunities go.
So it started with the Doge meme, right?
It started with John Monarch.
John Monarch, you could say, right?
Planted the seed or not you can say he did.
He planted the seed and from then we saw Billy
make Doge coin, we saw Slum Doge
and many others become millionaires of Doge coin.
We then saw another community
right to be the Doge killer.
She bit in you.
They ended up flipping Doge coin.
Many, many more millionaires were made
and then Floeky and then With and then Nero
and then Baby Doge, you know, thousands of people
became millionaires.
Doge runner after Doge runner after Doge runner
and even in this cycle,
what are the current two biggest runners?
They are both Doge related, AI in you being one of them
and the other one, I guess you can have a look for yourself.
But the two coins which broke that nine figure barrier
and really took charge and lead
with the biggest communities right now
are both Doge related meme coins.
So last cycle you look at it,
we had, I believe with Nero.
