When I drop that thread with a recap, it will be easy for you to actually execute anything that we've recommended. Everything that will be mentioned, by the way, applies for both Web 2 and Web 3. Web 2 threats affect your Web 3 assets. It's no longer about wallet trainers or malicious signatures. It's about malware, social engineering, phishing scams, pig butchering, all the things that existed before crypto. But they affect your crypto assets and also your Web 2 privacy. This space isn't going to be a don't click links and dy or our space. I'm going to tell you that right now. We are actually going to go in on what the hell is happening and the knowledge that you can gain from it. So I hope that's a good amount of energy that we're kicking off the space with and a quick message before we actually jump in. I literally expect 99% of people to do absolutely nothing with the information that's going to be provided here. Even nature is to not care until it's too late. I've come to realize this after being over 20 years in cybersecurity. You have to unfortunately scare people into being secure. So with all the recent data breaches, the protocol drains, and personally identifiable information that's being leaked, it's hopefully enough to scare some of you into preparing yourselves and performing some of the easy wins that we're going to talk about when it comes to protecting your privacy and your security here today. Because I'm tired of going on the timeline every single day and seeing people talking about being scammed, being drained or compromised. Even if it's someone that lost $10,000 or $10,000, it doesn't matter. It shouldn't happen. This is why spaces like this are so important. So again, I want to thank everybody here for joining. Recent events. Top of mind right now are ledger, treasurer, safe pal, heat beat, all these data breaches, even cold card, which wasn't a data breach, but it was an entropy issue. So let's talk about this. What was leaked in most of these data breaches includes your name, your email address, your phone number, your shipping or your home address, your order number. What was not leaked are seed phrases or private keys except in the case of cold card and we're going to talk about that. So user funds are not directly affected by data breaches themselves. A lot of these companies when they're shipping you hardware wallets, they're actually only using a service that's a third party service for fulfilling that shipment. Unfortunately, as we know, a lot of shit in Web2 gets compromised. Facebook's been compromised over time, Instagram, Amazon, AWS, Apple, themselves, all these services end up being compromised. And what the hell can you do? You have to give an address to get your stuff shipped to you. You have to give them an email and a phone number if you want to verify some things. But we're going to teach you here today how you never actually have to give away any of your real information. This is going to be the alpha. There are services out there that allow you to receive mail in your own town without exposing your home address. There are services out there that allow you to have a secondary phone number without giving away the real phone number that you need to sometimes, unfortunately, use for certain websites that require it for 2FA, like your bank account or your Apple ID, right? These are all different variables in the equation. So user funds were not directly affected by these breaches except in the scenario of cold card. Cold card, the problem was a weak entropy. Basically, over $100 million in assets were impacted because the random number generation of the seed phrase, think about like rolling a few dice instead of hundreds of dice to get a unique set of numbers made it so that it was very easily guessed. In short, most hardware wallet breaches are just customer data leaks, annoying, same as any Web 2 company, but cold card was an actual cryptographic failure. Now I know Jen, Bo, and a couple of other security specialists up here on stage might have some comments on this. Please feel free to chime in. But I really want to focus on the recent events and what we've seen and also the information that has been passed around, especially when things like this go down where people think the actual hardware wallet itself was compromised, like with the ledger or treasure situation. And it actually takes a little bit of time just to just have your shit together. It's like you're in the space. You're in, whether you have a PFP, whether you have crypto, whether you just claiming that you have crypto. Because I know a lot of people, even a lot of these influencers do not own any crypto. Don't let them lie to you. Hey, listen, we know them. For sure they speak about crypto, but they really don't have it. But the thing is you got to have your community. If you have a community, you got to make sure that your community is safe. If you have friends in the crypto space, you have to make sure they say the same thing with you is like, you protect your bank account. What was your not protect your assets? And that is something that everybody wants. Like regardless, if you are in the crypto space, if you have a crypto name, if you fucking repose anything crypto related, you can become a target. For the simple fact, people know it is like, oh, now, what just happened with this hardware wallets, a lot of people will, but it's not the seed phrase, but it's your information. So that just told all this data says, all of these people have a sufficient enough reason, whether they just happening, keeping the little $125 split in five ledgers. We know people do that. We know I've been saying that for years, but it's a list of people to say all of these people order hardware wallets. They have hardware wallets. And why? So you know, you put a target on your bag that people ask actually they can come and look and see what's going on. They got your email. They got your phone number. They have your fucking address. So it might not be dangerous to a lot of people, but just know, just knowing that your information is out there. And I feel like they already got a lot of shit, right? But this is a little bit different because this is verifiable information that, hey, this guy order a hardware wallet. So this guy knows or has cryptocurrency. So let's try to get it. But yeah, let's go. That's amazing intro there, six. And totally agree with everything you said. We're not going to name names. We do know a lot of KOLs don't actually have crypto or even know what a blockchain explorer is. That's a whole nother topic of conversation. We can make that a after dark space. As I can look back on the videos I made like years ago, and it's the exact same privacy stack. But for every 50 people that maybe don't listen, the two that did and then message us, like that's worth it. Crypto is meant to be here to peer. So like we're here as your peers trying to help you. Then hopefully you help your homies, right? And that's how we make a difference. Because it's not, you know, you don't just do it once. You have to constantly be aware of like how threats change. But at the same time, there's only a few different vectors, right? And so hopefully you leave this, you have a to do list every single week, you know, put a reminder, tell your clawed to say like digital hygiene time, lock down everything until you get your shit done. And like every week, just do one step to make yourself a little bit more secure. I think sometimes we have these conversations and they seem so daunting. But like it's not that hard once you start and you just have to start that. That's it right there. And I'm sure other people that are in the security space can say also we've just been recommending the same four or five things for five years. And it could literally have stopped 99% of the BS we see every single day on the timeline. And that's why I said one of the first things I mentioned when I started this space, I don't expect you to do anything.
