I'm co-hosting my own space with exciting hamsters and that's up. It's two oh one guys. I gotta go chill our project. I'll be back
When when your turn come I will ping you in your DMs. I wake you up no problem. Oh, no, no
I'll have I'll have this volume you know
I didn't want to hear
I'm gonna run around the better for
As a hamster and the other
Well, yeah, we're streaming right now
What I'll do is I'll actually put the stream in the comments section
So if anyone's interested they go ask the stream and hear hear the audio from the space and
CS playing zombie games and racing with hamsters and all type of stuff, you know
Thank you so much for coming and also we're so excited to hear from you as well
Like what's going on and excited hamsters. Thank you for coming really appreciated
Let's go to world over next guest speakers so we got popular with us when I say hi to him heavily. How are you happy Friday?
Hi, I'm fried with Jennifer. Hey, you learn hey Jay. You do here. Yes. Thanks for having us
Hi, baby. Thanks for coming
Thanks for having us
Thank you so much for coming really appreciated. So let's say hi to over next speaker
So we got the arson dragon with us when I say hi to him. Hello, arson
How are you and happy Friday? Hey happy Friday everyone glad to be here
Just looking forward to hanging out with you know fellow nerds today
I you know I want to bring that nerd nerd life back. I love creating a web 3 and I'm just you know happy to be here among a bunch of
Awesome minds. So thanks again for the invite
Thank you so much for coming really appreciated
So yes guys when I welcome all of our guest speakers here with us today and I'll answer however you and like
today we mark the like
Black Dana history of crypto answered the what happened with by an answer yesterday. So like sad. Can you believe that?
Oh my god
yeah, it's
shocking and
For me it was unexpected. I didn't think that something like this was gonna happen
But yeah, I think it just shows you how
And
Everything is so insecure somehow and you know I
Read a little bit about it. I am not sure that this was really balanced fault. I'm not sure that they had
You know a lot that they could do about it
But I think we're all gonna know soon like and
If you probably in a few days they're gonna have the greatest more information and more
People will we lose the release the research the more I read about it the more I see that
There's probably an AI component into it, but it's really hard to know it's
Yeah, you know what's crazy is a lot of a couple months ago. I was reading an article and
they were saying the the AI's
going to
Potentially and also going to crack every single
Seed phrases out there too as well. So they're able if they're gonna be able to get into wallets
Gonna able to crack like the sex that's you know the central
Exchanges and then also
Institutions too as well. So I think the AI is gonna be pretty crazy
And also there's a forgot what company was but there's a two companies fighting against each other AI
AI's or attacking other aIs in the in different markets. So it's pretty crazy. I mean I think
Doing be a lot more coming from what I'm thinking
I don't know that
AI's this early are going to
crack the encryption so easily, but I know that there's
definitely the
advance in quantum computing
And Google has a quantum computer computer and China has a few and that's the ones that I know about
I'm sure there are more that I just didn't hear
hear about and
Those machine can in a second split second
break
any wallets encryption just because of the so there is
A
Need just like in you know the year 2000 the white to k bug
That the whole world was working together to try to secure all
Computers so they won't be aviation accidents and you know all of those terrible things and
Did you know the world was able to do it?
2000 came and banking still survived and there were no major accidents and there were issues but
It was also but I think that there is a
big
Effort I would say and people putting another money and effort into
making computers
quantum resistance
resistant and
just by
Shake incidents
Last used them in the Tuesday of the week we on I was in an event that was called the tie
And that was an event that was about
The RWA and tokenization and there were a few seminars about quantum and there's a lot of work
That is being done and
Algorand as a chain
secured
their chain keys
And now offering free tools for people to
Secure their own keys, but it only works on Algorand
And I don't know exactly what
The VM are doing I know that most of them are not quantum resistant
So if they will wait too long then all wallets and all
Vaults will be hackable, but I'm thinking that the people who manage those entities are usually
responsible enough to
Make sure that there's not going to be a disaster
So I think if we take care of
Quantum it's going to
help
Lot in the vulnerabilities, but again, I mean I am not sure
People shared some code that they've seen of what the hackers did and seems that they were
trying for a while to get in
In that laptop that was hacked and and what's bewildering to me is that
Binance are not idiots and it was not one
Wallet that actually
If you hack it then you get access to the funds everything is
multi-signature and then there was a lot of precautions that they have taken
So to me that means that more than one laptop was
hacked
That there were at least a few if not more and
Maybe it was and at least partially an inside job. It's really hard to know
but
I think we definitely all have to be
Really careful and the funny thing is just like
Less than 10 days ago the whole ledger thing happened
That there was this vendor who
Hacked wallet and sold hack wallet to people and then drain them after that
So it's hard to know who you can trust I think and you've got to be really careful in
What you're doing and all of that is definitely hurting everyone not only you know what we care about like NFTs and
other ways and and whatever
Normal people know me's will not want
To participate in these conditions where you don't know if your money is going to be here
To borrow or in a minute so that's definitely something that
Is not helping any of us
I mean it goes kind of deep on people on the US Binance platform more infected
It's actually a completely different platform than the international Binance
So like a lot of people reading that now they just kind of saw Binance affected and so you know
We've got US citizens that were you know intrigued about it that most of the US citizens
You know weren't affected however
We all know that some people like to use VPNs do those things and the unfortunate's there is anybody that might have been using Binance and using ways to work around it has
Basically no legal backing because of the way that they
You know participated
So that's where you know a lot of us anticipate you know of course hoping that seasy and everybody does take care of
Of the funds, but it goes pretty deep. I was up really late
Tracing everything using a lot of the scanners that I have
But I don't think it was AI
How the lot to do with smart contracts
A lot of the speed in which it happened was because of the EIP 702
Which basically has a lot of us have been forced into the EIP 702
By our wallet providers and that actually turns our wallet from you know a basic wallet into a contract wallet
And it just it changes a lot of things like we're evolving so fast and as with everything that comes out
You know, you're gonna have a positive side and you know
You're also gonna have that negative side so
You know I think a lot of us are like you know taking this as a learning experience
It's unfortunate because it does you know affect real people and
You know just I'm really hoping that no we get some more answers
I'm diving into it. It does tie back to the hackers in North Korea again
So it's it's been interesting. I'm following it. There's a lot to it
I've been posting a lot of follow-ups and responding to a lot of things
It's just it's deep, but I don't think it's it's that deep
So I think we're gonna be able to get more answers pretty soon
I think we'll get answers and and I definitely don't know that
Band-Ens is able to
You know return all the funds. I hope they can I mean not be great if they're able to do it. It's going to be a
celebratory day in the industry if they're able to
Make sure that everybody gets the money back people who obviously had no
Connection to the hack and we're just victims. I don't know that they can do it
I think what's ironic and that's almost the first thing that I thought when I heard that the hackers were probably in North Koreans
Is that CZ actually went to jail because it was part of a
money laundering scheme through Binance and
A lot of that money came from North Korea
So he kind of helped North Korea by laundering the money went to jail for it and now they're hacking it so that's just
Amazing incredible and
unfortunate for everybody I think
but
in my opinion
this is
Going to happen again just because there's really
It's not that there's a need for regulation for that, but there's no really
Tried and through way to protect out wallets
I mean you can do many things and people and I'm sure that Binance did those things
They they took precautions
But the day of the day, I mean you have you know like in this
Instance they said was an engineer it's what somebody was working and
And they made a mistake and it's probably a human mistake and we all make mistakes
So those things are
Going to happen and we need somehow to figure out a way where it's really hard to make those mistakes and
Definitely don't have the answer for that and if I had to make a bet, I would say that there will be more
Of those you know in in in the regular that's was part of the things that were people were discussing on the event on Tuesday
Is that you know the
In traditional banking I mean there is it is here in the US
Accounts are in truth. I think they ensured up to a hundred thousand dollars automatically by the government
So for most people
That's a big enough safe safety net that
If something happens the government's going to take care of you
Hey, this is not yeah, I know
It hopefully I mean I just I agree and I mean I agree it's going to happen again
I just I don't think regulation or anything the government does is going to be the fixed
Because the hackers the hackers themselves they don't follow regulation like the fix is going to be engineering
Yeah for sure for sure, but in terms of trying to
Make sure that people continue to participate
Is to kind of find a way to put some kind of a safety net under all of the
uh
Environments in where people trade and that's something that's really how to do I think so I don't know that it's
It's going to happen, but I think
The world is full of really really smart people
so I believe that almost or every
great engineering
Idea that you have and deploy and test and do although I think there will be probably somebody somewhere
Or a group of those really
smart and ruthless people who would
Find a way around it. I think it's really really hard to solve
a
To solve it and
I think it's
You know, we are stealing the wild west of
