finding the trend and determining your bias for the day or for the week.
So that's why we're calling it top-down markets because we usually start with
the traditional markets. We do a Bitcoin, gold, we go over the dollar, then we go over
Salona, and then we trickle our way down to the memes. So I thought that was interesting.
It made me think about it. I mean, this isn't something, you know, us coming together as a community.
I didn't think of it as like a show that I'm particularly hosting or providing content for,
but I was really just opening this up as a space for the community to come together. So
hope everyone's doing well. Scott, how you doing? South Texas, you guys were able to get some
mics. I'm gonna, you know, share a little chart, weekly chart, and what are you guys up to?
Hey, man, GM. Go ahead, South Texas. You can go first.
Hey, man. Good morning. Now I'll be quick. I'm just, just here supporting.
Eat something bad last night. So I've been up early. I was in Scottsboro and here. So just
hang it out. So I'm trying to get up and get the day going. Sorry to hear that, bro.
Yeah, I think I ate some meagles, junk or something. I don't know. Giant teagles, junk,
something that made me hear me hard.
You know, I was, I was considering not posting that meme that I posted.
No, you did good, man. You've been blessed and you're fully knighted forever in your life after that.
With the Jags, with the Jags. Yeah, with the Cam little pose, yeah.
Cousin was hurt, but it's all right. It's meant to be.
It was a sick image, bro, because you know, it was such like such a powerful moment.
Yeah. You know, I mean, for the Jags, for the comeback, and it was kind of like...
Yeah, it was wild. I had just texted my youngest son, one of his friends as a Jags fan,
and I said, look, you're never invited to this house again if you don't beat the Eagles.
And so I started writing him. When all that was going down, and then he wrote back, he's like,
do you see what happened? And I had just seen the field all right then. So it was pretty entertaining.
Yeah, that's funny, man. Yeah, it was a wild weekend for sports.
Wild weekend. We had NLCS kickoff yesterday for baseball. I need to catch up with baseball. I've
been super consumed with football. But I don't know if Scott has a minute if you want to chat
about that. Yeah. I do see Bitcoin just took a big dive down to 82-667. I got an alert of my phone.
I see in the last 60 minutes, it's down almost three quarters of a percentage point.
So that that was interesting. It's not interesting, Scott. If you were paying attention in the group
that I added you and you would have saw, we saw this dump coming, baby. Get active, baby. I got
to get active, bro. I got to get active. Yeah. What am I? It's all right. It's all right. I'm not
worried about Bitcoin. I've been DC. I DCA, you know, I actually picked up like $300 worth on Saturday.
I'd like 81 something. Yeah, I'm not worried about Bitcoin. But I did, you know, you're right,
Mike. I do got to get it in the group, man. I got to make that a priority because I know there's
a lot of alpha in that group. GMGM to you, Mike, James. But yeah, regarding Justin, yeah, just crazy,
crazy sports weekend. Yeah, the Brewers did win last night. They actually opened up at home
because the Brewers had a better record than the Dodgers. I shit on the Dodgers all the time.
And then our buddy, Gaines, Shillis, but the Brewers won 103 games this year. Dodgers only won 100.
So they got a great team. Yeah, so I don't follow a lot of baseball during regular season. I go to
like three or four Braves games. It's just such a long season, Justin, you know, that 162 games.
I do like to follow it in the playoffs, but yeah, the Brewers did win last night, two to one.
And they play again tonight. And then the Cleveland and Tampa, they get started in the American league.
And Cleveland came back for an amazing Cleveland was down 02 in a three, you know, in the best of three out
of five. And they actually came back and they won that thing three straight two in Chicago. And then
the fifth game on Saturday night at home. So congratulations to Cleveland, Indian slash guardians.
But yeah, crazy day. And the NFL yesterday started with that Eagles thing. And then the giants tie.
I talked a lot about that on my show this morning. Yeah, there was some other good games.
Freaking Vikings are five and oh, hard to believe. Minnesota Vikings are five and oh. And we still
got three winless teams. We got your Miami dolphins. We got the Tennessee Titans and we got the
Los Angeles always always there'll always be the San Diego chargers to me. So yes, San Diego
Chargers, Los Angeles Chargers, they're all in five two. So interesting weekend and football fantasy.
I'm getting destroyed in the TBB fantasy football league. Freaking crazy, bro. It's hard. Like we've
talked about, you know, in that chat, 16 team league is hard. I think I want it. Yeah, I'm wanting
for, but I'm doing well in my work league. I'm near the top of my work league and I can win about
$500. I think roughly about $500 in that league if I win the whole thing. So we'll see. But yeah, GM
to you, man, I hope you had a good weekend with the family and stuff. And and I see Bonnie in the
house and you know, so many other OGs, man, Mr. Hyne and Ron and all that fun stuff. Man law,
Mike. So yeah, Moon is in the house too. So she bull guy, she bull community. So throw it back over
to you, Justin. Love it, bro. Thanks for your updates, man. Thank you, man. Yeah, no problem.
No problem. Yeah, great, great, great weekend of sports, man. Couple of big couple of big college
games too, you know, Georgia beat Alabama. That had a little bit of a controversial twist to it.
LSU lost again. Second time they've lost. So maybe we get Jason and put it out,
fuck Lane Kiffin shirts. I think he's getting that enough, bro. I think he's getting that enough,
man. Yeah, he is not sure. He's getting roasted, man. Yeah, he either like, he, lane Kiffins like
Trump, you know, you the like him or you hate him. There's no, there's no middle ground with
Lane Kiffin. So, you know, he doesn't bother me. I'm not that invested in it, but yeah, a lot of
people, you know, do not like that guy. Yeah, yeah, for sure, man. For sure. It's definitely
controversial. I mean, the way that he left last season was absolutely brutal to his team. Yeah.
Ole Miss in the college football playoffs, you know, going up, trying to make something happen.
I mean, these are kids that he recruited and business is business. I'm glad that he took the job
that he wanted, but it's really tough, man. It's really tough, you know, even if you're doing something
like just a regular job. Yeah. To be able to or to have to, you know, I guess be in that position where
you're saying, look, I got to go over here and kind of leave them like almost at the finish line.
Really tough situation, man, but, yeah, I didn't like it. I didn't like it either. I know, I've
talked to Mr. Heiney about it, and he was thumbs down in it. He hates Lane Kiffin. You know,
that you make a great point. That was a horrible situation. I see Nuts has got his hand up. His
Indianapolis Colts freaking couldn't go into, they couldn't go into Pittsburgh and beat the 55-year-old
Aaron Rogers. Yeah. Oh, man. Yeah, that's wild, man. Good stuff, man. Good stuff. Mike James,
man, how you doing, brother? Hey, good morning. Good morning, man. How are you? I'm good. How's
you doing? I'm good. I'm good. I had a good weekend, bro. I had my second son's birthday, so we had
a party Saturday. We were hanging out Friday. You know, yesterday we were kind of having a whole
celebration, man. You know, trying to make him feel special, trying to make some memories that
took him to play golf on Friday. We skipped school. Just trying to, you know, create these little
makes and moments out of the time that we have, you know. Oh, yeah, that's awesome, man.
So, well, happy birthday to the little guy. Thanks, bro. Hopefully, hopefully he's enjoying it, man.
That's great. He sucked it up, bro. He sucked it up, man. He loved it. We had a good weekend, so we
back to work, baby. And then, yes, sir, bank holiday today. So, yeah.
I would like to highlight three trades we did over the weekend, Justin. Do it. The hype trade
right at that breakout point. It was a monster trade for me at least. The uniswap trade,
I was way overexposed on a 10X leverage, but I played out exactly how I was thinking.
And you saw the details on TG. That was quite a bit of money on that trade.
I was able to get out of 58% profit, which I'm very happy about. And, Pith, man, freaking,
nothing is flying. The Python trade. Yeah. So, they did a vote with through the Dow. And now,
they deciding that 100% of the revenue will go back into, well, I guess I should say 100% of profit
will go into buyback the token. So, oh wow. Yeah. So, you got a protocol that's in below 700
million market cap. That's an article play, right? It's an infrastructure play. And now,
they voted that 100% of profits will go into buy and back their token. So, essentially, what they're
doing, they are doing the hyper-liquid book, exactly what uniswap did when it was at 350,
is what Pith is doing right now. So, I'm very excited about that. That trade is looking very well.
Like I said, I took profit on on high, but took profit on uniswap. Man, what a good fucking weekend.
What a good weekend. And, on top of all of that, we went short last night on Bitcoin.
So, yeah, stop lost in the green. And we're locking in profits. Man, it feels really good.
Feels really, really good. I know, Nuts head has hand up for a minute.
But yeah, man, I'm fucking, I'm bricked up over these trades, man. I feel really fucking good this
morning. I love it, man. I love it. So, for the Python play, and this is one thing I want to point
out that's so interesting. And I would say that this point has a lot to do with tech.
It's always tech is like, you have someone do the hard work. You have someone do the initial
effort and break through to create an initial floor of tech. And then you have all the piggyback
innovation that comes afterwards. I mean, imagine, Chainlink could have done this 10 years ago.
Chainlink could have done that six, seven years ago where they voted and they decided to support
the token price by, I'm not going to say re-hypothicating, but re-investing their revenue to buy back
their tokens. But because that idea and that concept has really gathered a lot of steam and a
lot of interest, now you have companies like Pythag, who are fairly new. What is it like two years
old? Oh, yeah. It's a lot newer than Chainlink for sure. So they're coming in, piggybacking off the
tech, piggybacking the same pretty much the same utility in the same space. And they're implementing
things faster. I think that that kind of sums up crypto in a nutshell.
Well, what's great about that move, Justin, now you have a lot of these legacy protocols,
the legacy project that's been going for years and years and years with these newer projects,
like Python, it's going to believe it or not. It's going to put pressure on Chainlink
Foundation to go ahead and improve value to the token. Otherwise, they're going to get left behind
eventually. Like they've been sitting way too comfortable for way too long without a competition.
Well, guess what? Competition is here, motherfucker. The people that's been holding your token
for years and years and years without occurring any of the value of the protocol. Well, it's time
to show appreciation and direct some of that value back to the token. I love that movement, man.
I love what Hyper Look would been doing. I love what Uniswap is implemented. Uniswap is another
legacy protocol. They never cared about token value for the longest time. But then look what they
did. So I think that's the trend going to be happening to a lot of these protocols and I'm very
excited about it. I think Pith where it's at market cap wise and versus their revenue and
buyback model. So they bought back about a million dollars in USDC so far and they're sitting on
a little over $750 million. I'm sorry, $750,000 right now in USDC reserves ready for buybacks.
And what they're doing, they're tea-wapping into their chart so they're not creating one massive
green candle. And speculators are jumping on that and try to match that chart. I think it's super
healthy, man. I think it's super healthy to make these old protocols. They think that they are
better than everybody else to make them feel like, okay, it's time to show value to token holders.
I'm for it, man. I love that. So if it's going to take newer protocols like Pith to make channeling
feel like, okay, we might get left behind. So be it, man. Let's go. Yeah. Time to show the token
holder some value. I think healthy competition always brings up the quality and forces the best
the best product on the market. So that's such a good point, man. And I'm really excited to see
where we go. And honestly, I feel like that's a model that Jason has talked about TBB a lot about
making TBB the best product that it could be. And so it's really, really interesting.
