And that's it, Sean. And look, this FBI under my leadership on the President Trump's administration is here for the people of America. We are not here for the Cacafanee of the United States Senate and the Democrats in a radical lunacy. We are here to protect Americans. The hearing today was the promotes of the American public, the great work, the men and women of law enforcement have done. And we did it in the FBI because we made the changes that were necessary. We moved thousands of FBI personnel to the field. We got rid of decades of old bureaucracy and administrative hurdles and increased task force officers to records never seen. And most importantly, we removed the institutionalization that the Democrats were barking about for years. And President Trump and director Casvatell and his team have delivered what they never could. And the fact that we delivered it is ticking them off more than anything they could possibly think of. So when you're over the target, where are they gonna do, Sean? They're gonna yell at you about your personal life and lie about it and threaten the ones you love which they did repeatedly today. We're not gonna stand for that, but we're also gonna continue this historic mission. We're only halfway done. And for generations, our hunters and fishes and outdoorsmen have been part of a tradition older than our nation itself. Actually, substantially older than our country itself, 250 years from David Crocket to Daniel Boone to Teddy Roosevelt. We've always been a nation that loves the outdoors and with patriots like you, it'll continue for a long time. So I just want to congratulate you on your tremendous successes, tremendous success on this beautiful stone surface. There's tremendous success and you've done an incredible job. And because these are indeed the most important midterm elections in the history of our country. And it is because we are facing a major massive contrast. America truly is at a crossroads. Do we want to continue to be a country that embraces common sense under President Trump and Republicans like secure borders, like supporting our police, like the largest middle class tax cuts in American history which put thousands of dollars back into the pockets of hardworking Americans or do we want to be a country that no longer recognizes itself? Because that's what the Democrats want to do. They want to fundamentally not change America. They want to destroy America because these are indeed the most important midterm elections in the history of our country. And it is. OK, so apparently Washington thinks that your local radio station should still be operating under the rules that were written when people were still using AOL dial up. No, seriously, YouTube can reach basically anyone. Spotify can reach basically anyone. Apple can reach basically anyone. But your local radio station? Oh, no, no, no, Washington has rules for that. And some of these ownership restrictions were written for a media world that looked very different than the world we live in today. So explain this to me. Why are we making local American radio compete with gigantic global tech platforms while tying one hand behind his back? Because here's what happens when local radio can't compete. Less advertising revenue, less money for local news, less money for producers, engineers, hosts, and emergency coverage. And yes, fewer opportunities for the conservative talk radio voices that Americans listen to every single day. And before somebody says, but Lydia, you just want no regulation. No, that's not what anyone is saying. The FCC can still review transactions. It can still reject deals that aren't in the public interest. We're talking about modernizing roles that were written for yesterday's media marketplace. And FCC chairman Brendan Carr has been challenging those outdated regulations. Good. Finish the job because here's a crazy idea. Maybe listeners should decide which voices succeed, not Washington bureaucrats and definitely not a silicone Valley algorithm. Let local radio compete. Indicated, there's a transaction where a short back group would take. Indicated, there's a transaction where a sorrows back group would take ownership of over 200 radio stations across 40 different markets. After the SC originally indicating that that transaction could be reviewed and approved at the bureau level without a commission vote, it's now become clear that that is a decision. Before the full commission, and it's one that I would assume now or in the near future, the commission would approve. I think what's interesting about it is that the FC here is not following its normal process reviewing the transaction. We have established over a number of years one way in which you can get approval from the FCC when you have in excess of 25% foreign ownership, which this transaction does. And it seems to me that the FCC is poised to create the first time an entirely new shortcut. Yeah, thank you. As you pointed out here in previously, these proceedings for transfer of ownership have been expedited. What exactly makes this case so deserving of an expedited proceeding so far from what you could tell? There is nothing about this transaction that is out of the ordinary. It's the type of thing that we see all the time. And the FC has a process for this. The full commission itself has never signed off on a shortcut like this. What we usually do is require people to file a petition with us. We bring in national security agencies. They can review the foreign ownership. It's probably no big deal here. But we review that foreign ownership. And then we vote. Here, they're trying to do something that's never been done before at the commission level.
