First of all, let me say congratulations on taking this step for many people. This might be your first step in tech. For all that people, it might be like, as far as those who have been applying for the bootcamp, this might be like the second or the time. Where have I come from? It's going to be a very insightful evening. This is the very first webinar session for the core nine publication for the tech, for African scholarship. So I'm very excited to have everybody here. And over the coming days, we're going to be having this kind of webinar across all tracks. So if you are here tonight and probably they apply for any of the tracks, we're going to be discussing tonight, just exercise on patience. And of course, enjoy the flow because we're going to be having so many professionals across different tracks coming to, you know, talk about how they abuse their careers. You'll be able to learn from their journeys. Of course, understand what the skill really involves. And most importantly, gain really practical insights into how you can actually build your own career. So as everyone already knows tonight, we are discussing frontend back in our mobile development. You know, when people think about software development and the software engineering general, they're just thinking quote, quote, I remember, Alia is really at the office when someone came into me, so inquiries about the courses that we offer. And we were trying to explain to him that, oh, it's frontend development is back in development. The mobile cleans register is child. We get asked in the world, we know calling it coating. And now that I think about this, I just, it's actually realized that it's so common. People, people are so used to regarding it as those rights and code, coating and all of that. And just made me think, you know, behind those rights and code, what exactly does it involve? What exactly does it life mean? Maybe frontend, backend or mobile development, but what even up as a full stack, software development, but we are going to be hearing about all of that tonight. So we're talking about these different parts. And of course, to help us really understand all of this, we have a very amazing line of professional with us tonight. And a size that's, I've majorly been working for the past four years in FinTech and Cybersecurity. Like the particular, which is that I have keenly chosen and outside software engineering. It's a very interesting one. And I would just like, you know, particularly, Mr. Sura, I truly mentioned that he has been in this field for about a decade. I would like you to just share with us, you know, how your journey has been like. What it was like then so many years ago. And what you would say, you know, it's like now just, you know, the difference and how the experience has been like for you. Why did you even decide to venture into this field anyway from start, venture? Hello. Can you hear me? Yes, I can. Okay. As you already know, my name, I started way back in the university. So although I did not initially know about software engineering or programming generally until I entered into the university. So I started as a my own job level. I was in anatomy department. So but I wasn't comfortable because initially I planned to do medicine. And I found myself in anatomy department. So fortunately for me, in my university, there is opportunity for you if you do well in your first year, you can change your course. So but in my own level this, I already knew that anatomy is not for me. So I started looking out and finding something I feel is better for me. Even if it's not because I already took my mind of medicine. So I was fortunate to be among people that technologically oriented. So because of that, I chose computer science. So fortunately for me, I got the transfer to the computer science and engineering departments. I felt like, okay, maybe that's all, but it wasn't all because studying computer science alone does not guarantee that you be a software engineer or programmer. So I initially did not take programming seriously.
