up to try and fake it, maybe you know,
you'll scare a few people, get them up, you know,
to quote post and repost the space.
But then drones out here, I'll say,
please quote post, repost the space.
I'm not gonna shoot you with drones or anything like that.
Or I don't, I don't want to cast iron, skill it.
I don't, oh wait, what was that thing you bought yesterday,
stock mom, that wasn't, was that a skillet?
Yep, no, that's ceramic.
I eat ceramic skillet.
That's not gonna do anything to anybody.
That'll break.
No.
Hit me.
Yes.
It's not cast iron.
I've got cast iron, I got plenty of cast iron down there.
All right, well, bring me one up here.
The bottom floor, under, yeah, they're heavy.
They have to go on the bottom because if not,
they break everything, yeah.
All right, well, bring me one up here so I could use it,
while rodents not here.
So all right, I'm gonna get one.
So I will have a cast iron skillet.
So if you don't repost or quote post the space,
I guess I will have to use it.
All right, I'm getting it out now.
I'm bringing it up.
I'm serious.
There's proof.
Bring it up here.
So I, so everybody knows what I have it.
So you, you want to take it out.
I mean, what is happening?
I'm bringing it up the baby one that makes one egg.
Well, you remodeling the kitchen would have.
I forgot my mic while I was grabbing the skillet.
Guys, I have it.
Here it, I've got it.
Yeah, bring it up here so I could have it.
So then it's proof that I have it.
So bring it up here, she's on a way.
I'll see how long it takes to get to the west wing
from the east wing.
I'll see how long it takes.
All right, yeah.
All right, bring it in.
We see it.
This is the baby one.
All right, this one, yeah.
There you go.
I have it.
I have it.
Now I tell you something, it's little,
but I could really grab this thing.
It is thing.
I mean, you could do damage.
You could do serious damage with this.
Manufacturing 2021, I think this thing was made.
And yes, it's solid.
And it fits right in my hand very well.
Can we get barbed out up here?
Seriously, if you can't get anything to carry
in your bag as a weapon, like get the little one that
makes one egg, you could do some damage with that.
Yeah, yeah, you could definitely do some damage with this thing.
It's no doubt about it, no doubt.
This is good for your, yeah, this is a good weapon.
If you wanted to keep it in your pocket book, ladies,
when you're walking in the parking lots,
always get your head out of your phone.
Don't be looking at the phone when you're walking around
anywhere anymore.
And to have this, you could have this in your hand.
Walk around with this.
Because if I saw somebody walking around with this in their hand,
I'll get to be honest.
I'm not going near them.
First of all, I'm going to think they're crazy.
Why are they walking around with a miniature skillet?
So right off the bat, I'm going to think
that I don't want to mess with that person
because there's something wrong with them.
So there you go.
All right.
And listen, if I get pissed today,
do you just going to hear this?
You'll know what it means.
Just telling you right now.
All right, just going down for a minute.
It's down out of my hand.
All right, DJ, go ahead before we go to the song.
DJ, I think DJ doesn't want to mess with this skillet.
Go ahead DJ.
All right, DJ, can you speak?
You know what?
DJ, I'm going to drop you and I'll bring you back.
Hold on.
Let's see if we can get DJ back up here.
Because I'm sure he has something to add
to the skillet conversation.
That's only he can do.
DJ, go ahead.
Can you hear me now?
Yeah, sorry.
I got a spam call and for some reason
it took my sound away from the space.
But curious question is how do you treat your skillets?
Your iron cast iron skillets?
How do you clean them and maintain them?
Because I've talked to several people
and a lot of people do different things.
Well, I just oil them and then put them in the oven.
That's what you do.
You oil them, you put them in the oven,
and then you just you clean them, you wipe them.
You can rinse them, but you just have to use a soft cloth.
And then do it again if it needs it.
You don't have to do too much to them.
I mean, don't use dish soap on them.
I can tell you that right now.
I know Margot has this whole process she
wants described in the punch bowl with the skillet.
Like it sounded like way too much work.
And I was like, I am never using skillet
after I heard what Margot does to hers.
I don't know, it was like a whole process.
It's you don't have to do it that often.
Like it's not like you have to constantly.
So, you know, when the food is like,
if it's still warm, you just scrape the food out
with a spatula or a pan scraper.
And then you just rinse it under hot water.
I don't really use.
I mean, you can use a little dish soap on a really well
seasoned pan.
It won't destroy the seasoning.
You don't want to soak or scrub it aggressively.
And you don't want to take like brillo to it or anything.
You can use like a plain nylon brush
a little bit or like one of those chain male scrubbers
just to get a little bit.
But or you can put kosher salt on it as an abrasive.
That'll clean it too.
But you want to dry it immediately
and completely towel dry it.
You want it dry immediately.
So.
Wait, kosher salt.
So you're telling me to Israel's involved in this too?
Of course.
Oh, god.
It can't get away.
It's everything.
Same way that you treat the black stone.
It's similar.
I can't stand that thing.
He hates my black stone, guys.
He's just too much work for him.
So all right.
So let me tell you how I do it typically.
And tell me what I'm doing wrong
or what I should do differently.
After I cook something, which is usually
for my cast iron skillet, it's usually
either on a rare occasion of steak or burgers, right?
So after I cook them, then I'll scrape it out,
then as good as I can with like a not a metal,
but like a hard plastic spatula.
And scrape it out.
And then I'll take just a tiny bit
of dawn dish washing soap and a soft nut brush, foam,
whatever they'll scrubber.
And I'll rinse that out as good as I can, clean it out,
and then dry it.
And then sometimes I'll throw it on the stove
after I've dried it to make sure it's really dry.
And then I'll take just a little bit of olive oil
and coat it.
And then I put it away.
You shouldn't have to like put oil at every single time.
You can, but like when it's, you know,
but you should still, you should do it when it's still warm.
You've got a wipe on a very thin film of high smoke point
oil, canola vegetable grape seed.
That's what you're supposed to use with a paper towel, right?
And you know, we buff it to look so much dry.
But like, you know, you, you, that will maintain
the seasoning, but you're, I don't do it every single time.
Well, so this is one of the rare occasions
when I need a wife.
You said you never have one of them again.
No, I told you they had to meet four criteria
and they're very stringent.
Rich, rich, hot, deaf, mute.
They don't exist.
Yeah, you just described it unicorn.
I was going to say it is definitely unicorn.
Wait, you never said anything about mute or deaf
when we first started dating.
I know it doesn't exist.
Funny.
I mean, really?
What was the one in the hot, the crazy hot,
crazy hot, right?
That they said that's a trainee.
That's a guy doesn't exist.
You know, that's what that is.
Right.
None of you have ever seen the hot crazy matrix.
You need to go on YouTube and you need to watch it.
I had never seen it.
And Jay and I were not dating for very long when he showed it to me.
And of course, I was like, you better say I'm a unicorn, you know?
Right.
Yes, I did.
Well, you married me.
So that is that is far more time to be.
Wife territory.
That is far more scientific than anything that comes out of Fauci or Washington.
That's a fact.
That is a fact.
That guy that did that is absolutely more reliable as a scientist and a researcher than
I think probably anybody in Washington DC actually think he maybe RFK should find that guy
and hire him and bring him in to be somebody that does stuff kind of figures out like on
a graph like that.
Like is this good?
Is it not?
Yeah, I'd hire him.
It's a brilliant thing.
I mean, you have to watch it.
I think then we play it in here.
I think we played it in here once, but it's funny.
But you have to actually watch it to really get exactly what's going on.
And it really is.
It is a brilliant, brilliant graph.
I have to say.
I have to say.
Yes.
Go.
Let me go.
See, Zach keeps making.
See, I keep breaking Zach's chops because he keeps making a main street meets Wall Street
meme or a picture.
And I said, I want myself in a black T-shirt with an American flag on his sleeve because that's
just what I wear pretty much every day.
And he did.
And then you weren't blonde.
And then I said, you got to fix you to blonde.
And then he posted it today.
And it's got me and Rodin.
I said, now you got to add Barbie to it.
Listen, I want you know, Zach, get on it.
You get to add Barbie to it.
And then you'll be good.
I will do, Jay.
I will do, Jay.
I was like, I'm down lapping too.
All right.
All right.
Get on it.
I want to put it up.
Get put it up there.
You could even put it up in the jumbo tron today.
Zach, put it up there.
OK.
Don't worry.
Sounds good.
Sounds good.
And by the way, it is how I do it.
Yeah, it's good.
I do like a light scrubbing.
Nope.
It's a little bit soap not much.
And if it's too bad, don't the fire.
That's how you do it.
I'm not going to doubt it.
Barbie God.
Am I the only one that doesn't have a cast iron skill hood on the stage?
I'm not curious.
I love the robot.
What do you cook?
Tell me you're not cooking in nonstick.
Because that causes cancer.
This is freaking out.
I don't know.
No, I'm pretty sure mine are not nonstick because everything sticks to them.
So I don't know.
I have stainless steel.
I don't really cook like, I mean, I have a grill.
So like meat and stuff.
My husband, girls, I mean, like ground beef.
Was that considered like chicken cutlets?
That's the essence of my knowledge.
Like of cooking.
Like this is it.
It's funny.
Barbie, good thing.
Rowdy's not here.
I think she would have fell off the stage.
Hey, let me tell you, lady, something else that's really great.
The Drew Barrymore electric skillet.
It's very, you know, I know you just said.
Drew Barrymore.
What is that?
What is that?
It's sold at Walmart.
Like this thing's like 60 bucks.
It's amazing.
Like it immediately needs a...
Hey, George.
Oh.
You've got to get this thing.
It is amazing.
See, the problem is I'd rather go outside in the winter
in the freezing cold because I want that char girl's taste.
I just, I don't like...
I mean, we have a small indoor grill, like a small one.
Like what you're saying.
And it's okay, but it's just not the same.
It's like, just like steak on a black stone
is not the same as it is on a regular grill.
Where all this stuff builds up and you get...
My own one, the one we just got rid of,
because it finally was done.
It had a drawer that you could pull up with the wood chips
into.
That was in a pulley, and that was really nice.
When that last had a long time, but we finally had to get it
rid of it, because it just needed to be completely rebuilt.
And at that point, it was going to cost as much as the grill
cost.
So, but yeah, no.
I mean, I can't.
I don't...
Everything tastes better when it's on a grill
with all the built up stuff.
You're talking about like the rust chips and stuff
that come off the grates.
Not rust chips.
No, but like the drippings when it gets...
You know, when it gets like season and like, yeah,
it tastes the best.
I mean, nobody takes out the lower grates and cleans them
all the time, every single time.
At least I hope not.
Hey, let me tell you a really funny story.
I knew this guy, and this guy, he has a lot of money.
He makes a lot of money.
So he's probably got more money than cents.
He would throw his grill away after the push button igniter
would go out because the battery was dead.
He didn't realize there was a battery in there.
So he thought the grill was completely bad after it went out.
So he went through like multiple grills before he finally
figured this out.
Oh, my God.
I didn't even know what to say.
Must be nice to be able to do that and not have not misadete.
But it is pretty dumb, DJ.
You just smack some cents.
It's been a polem that I'm talking about.
It was a $5,000 grill back when I bought it.
It's probably like 10 grand now.
That's crazy.
I wouldn't buy that now.
It's not smut doing that ever, ever, ever, ever, ever.
All right.
All right.
Let's go.
I mean, this was a very good discussion.
This was, you know, this cast iron skillet.
You never know what kind of talk that's going to generate.
Look what it did.
All right, guys, please quote post repost whatever one you want.
This space.
Get it out there so we get more and more people in here.
It should be a great show.
Stockmoms got some money.
And we always have stuff to talk about.
It never ends.
There will not be a day that we come in here.
That there will be nothing to talk about.
Ever, ever, ever.
All right.
Here we go.
I have come here to chew bubble gum and kick ass.
And a whole out of bubble.
This is Boone Street.
