Hello guys, welcome to our AMA with LoungePads.
I'm very happy to see everyone, very happy to see our community, the founders, the members
of LoungePads and the LoungePads itself.
Today we are going to be speaking and discussing with our LoungePads how they're doing, how
the progress was for them, what's interesting they've been doing.
Before we're starting, just important announcement to everyone who's listening to space.
So today's space is does not actually exist with any financial advice guys.
So if anything you will hear, don't take them as a financial advice, always do your own
research, do your work for this.
Okay, the most important part is done.
So I'm just going to give a quick round of introductions to everyone because we have
today pretty big list of five LoungePads.
So it's important so we're going to know everyone.
I'm going to start with our kind of long standing LoungePads.
So I'm going to start with the for me.
We have a call about today from the for me team.
Call welcome to the stage.
We're happy to see you.
Hi everyone, this is Kovah and currently leading the BDL for me.
So when I join and I spend the most of my time working with the builders company, the
and Ecopang, there's across the BNB chance.
I'm really happy to be here today.
Thank you, Kovah.
Thank you.
Nice to see you.
Nice to see you in your new role of head of BDL for me.
The next one, we are going to have a blonzer from tape out LoungePads.
Blonzer, welcome to the stage.
Hey everyone, hey everyone, I'm Blonzer from PayPal.
Thank you all so much for your reason, support, and attention.
Today's AMA will be lead by LDA, one of our brilliant core devs.
I'm going to stay locked in on coding.
Thanks again, everyone.
Thank you so much for joining Blonzer.
Thank you.
The next one, it's LoungePads, which being on BSE since their start and grow a lot.
So it's a flap from and Cedric from flap.
Cedric, welcome to the stage.
Hey, hey, thank you for having me and I'm Cedric, founder of flap and happy to be here.
Thank you for joining Cedric.
Really happy to see you here.
Thank you.
Thank you, thank you.
The next one, who is joining us, it's Ryan from Genius.
So Genius started as a trading terminal on BSE.
And now they've expanded their tech side.
So they're now LoungePads as well.
Ryan, welcome to the stage.
Can you give a quick introduction about yourself?
Yeah, thanks, but I am Ryan, one of the founders of Genius.
Thank you very much for having me.
Thank you, Ryan, for joining.
It's going to be very interesting to hear your vision for LoungePads.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Okay, now we are also need to wait for one more LoungePads, but hopefully they will
join soon.
But for now, we can start with the list of questions which us and our community prepare
it for LoungePads to share your vision and understand what you're using and what's
your plans.
So Cedric, the first question is for you.
So as I was mentioning in my introductions.
Flap, it's a Loungepad who started from full beginning on BSE and grow to the stage
to one of the biggest LoungePads on BSE and in whole crypto industry.
And my question is, what might you choose BSE as a first home?
Yeah, yeah, we did.
Well, it's a long story and we did start from a hackathon team of three and you know,
we just had a little bit more than 60K found reading from angels and eventually grew
to where we are today.
And a lot of that is building around the BNB chain ecosystem.
And I think at the time when we started, we had a lot of readings, but a lot of them
are probably wrong.
But I think one thing that we did got right at the beginning and even today we think
it's very important is that, you know, as a small team of, you know, builders, you really
need a place where there's a lot of people who can try your product and give you honest
feedback very quickly.
And that feedback look is how startups can find product market fit and BNB chain really
gave us that and it's not everywhere, right?
I think most of the chains don't have that.
And you know, that's why you can see, you know, strong projects or startup teams emerge
from ecosystems like BNB chain or maybe like Solana because there are communities willing
to try new ideas and become their first users on these ecosystems.
And yeah, and Flapp is one a big example of how a small team can grow from BNB chain
ecosystem.
So yeah, and what made us stayed in the ecosystem is also the support network, right?
So you can see that like in your space like today, you know, established projects can
help new teams, you know, the BNB chain ecosystem with bringing us together and trying
to amplify voices from new builders.
And that's not something that you can see everywhere.
Yeah, also, I think important to note for the community, right?
I think on your path on BSE, you received a good milestone, I think, into easy labs,
investment, right?
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
And share with the young founders because we have on you launch pads or the one who's
listening, how this happened and what was the outcome?
Like, did it help you to get kind of like recognition on BSE for BSE community?
Yes, yes.
Yeah, I was going to touch on that.
Yeah, so when our team started to really gain traction earlier this year, easy labs reached
out to us and backed us with good funding and also brought us into the easy receney
C program.
And yeah, our team learned quite a lot from the program.
And, you know, and also from other founders who are very good in the cohort.
Yeah, and yeah, we couldn't be where we are today without the support from easy labs.
And yeah, so the support network from BNB chain ecosystem and easy labs and other, you
know, networks in the BNB ecosystem is very important for us to get to where we are today.
Amazing, amazing.
Thank you so much, Chadwick, that's a really knowledgeable advice.
Also, of course, the community who is listening, if you're a founders, easy labs, they currently
doing the seasons again and again.
And they're currently looking for good projects to get into season five of easy residency.
You can find all the details into their Twitter page.
So shout out to easy labs.
And whoever is looking, feel free to apply the application is still open there.
Okay, the next question, we are moving to genius terminal Ryan to you because for you, I
think lots of things happened in the last three weeks because for you, it was a fully
new feature which you enabled for the users.
Can you give a quick introduction for those who didn't see your feature?
What you're quickly doing in regards to your launch pad and then we're going to go a little
bit more into details of foundation model.
Yeah, so the overview is we run Genius.fun and it is a launch pad on the in-beaching, connecting
meme culture with public company ownership, whether that be a board seat, whether that
be a hostile takeover.
And so it's trying to bring memes to the forefront of internet culture and using that to establish
a similar public influence.
Okay, okay, amazing because that's a good intro.
And then let's go a little bit more into details.
So when the talking was created into Genius.fun, let's talk about foundation model because that's
a main differentiator for your launch pad.
When people are launching this, what's the main thesis behind foundation model?
Yeah, the thesis was honestly quite simple.
It was we've seen time and time again communities kind of Ryan.
Can you hear me?
Yeah, I can.
Hello.
Yeah, I can hear you.
Yeah, yeah, we can.
That's so weird.
But you can hear me.
Everything's good.
Yes, everything's amazing.
Yeah.
The thesis was quite simple.
Basically, we've seen time and time again communities coordinate attention and capital in
enormous scale.
And we wanted to see if we could give them a way to turn that into ownership and influence
in real companies.
That was the thesis when we launched it.
I would say it's the exact same thesis today.
The focus now is just kind of getting to a point where somebody can actually turn that
into something and then we can have reproduce that on a regular basis.
And on your main goal, right, is like to acquire 5% of company.
That seals the main logic what you're trying to achieve from the launch pad.
Yeah, I think the, I think, you know, the 5% kind of an arbitrary number, I think like,
you know, whether that be 3%, 4%, 5%, I think the ultimate goal is having enough where
we can go to a public company and to start get a board seat.
I think that would be an enormous win for the community and everyone partaking in this,
whether it be correlated with the meme coin slash stock that you participated in or it
would be completely different one.
It's just the idea of it.
I think that would be massive win for the community.
Yeah.
I agree with you, Ryan.
Yeah, I think that's going to be very interesting to see from a perspective of how the launch
pad affects the company.
Yeah.
Okay, Ryan, thank you for this response.
We're going to get back to you for another interesting questions about Genius Fund.
For now, we are going for some questions for the new launch pad for tape out.
So for tape out, what I would like to check because I think it's interesting to learn
for the community.
So tape out is the most different product here from a perspective of the launch pads.
In simple terms, what is a tape out and tape hub is trying to achieve or trying to represent
on BSE?
I'm Alda from tape out and thank you for inviting me.
So can you hear me?
Yes.
Yes.
Okay.
So basically for tape hub, what we want it to achieve is to become a platform where talented
technical teams, they can launch their own project and they can find early supporters
and they can keep building their products.
So basically teams can establish a community and develop their project's ecosystem over
time.
That could mean like a neural network project on a BNB chain or a cloud storage project
or another D web project.
And we want to support the full journey from an idea to a launch to something that people
can actually use.
So tape hubs, existing mechanism are providing a path for getting started.
So the mining assets and other tradable assets can give community members a different
way to stay involved.
And we also want project teams to build additional core functionality around those mining assets
and also extend existing circuit designs, create valuable services in the long term.
So what we're trying to achieve is that as more high quality projects are taking shape,
we hope that the platform becomes more valuable.
And we are also very welcome to see projects collaborate and interact with one another.
So for example, for an early stage team, this platform is offering an easier way to bring
an idea to market and also find people willing to help build it.
So for participants, their relationship with a project can develop along.
