And I honestly ideally would have rather not have had to do this. But I kind of have to. So the best way to speak is to speak for yourself. And I'm here to essentially address Roosh's tweet at me and any surrounding concerns and or misunderstandings that may have taken place. So I'm going to do that. And I'm going to be extremely transparent in the process of doing so. And hopefully a discerning audience will be able to kind of understand what's actually happening here. So just to catch you guys up and I'm sure most of you guys are watching football. It's literally fucking Sunday. And I'm sure most of you guys are enjoying football. So I apologize to anybody that I intruded with by doing this. But to kind of catch anybody up. Brian Alvarez reported the other day. Let's go back to it. Brian Alvarez basically reported that Dragon Lee's contract was coming up. And so it was drillistic. And that Los Hermanos Lee, I believe, was the name that was trademarked. And that was not my report. That was Brian Alvarez's report. And I quoted it and I said the following. I tweeted Dragon Lee's people reached out to me a year ago for clarification on his deal. Not sure what he ends up doing. But he's had the best year of his career performance. Why since his time in New Japan. And it's finally resulting in crowd connection. W2B should take care of him. So this was an opinionated post primarily. But it was prefaced with an anecdote that I provided saying that Dragon Lee's people reached out to me. So that was my tweet. I made this tweet yesterday. And then Rouge. Sorry, Rouge, El Thorough Blanco himself. Quoted me and said, stop lying in all caps. So as expected, you know, wrestler don't son. You know, quote unquote media person. It's now turned into this whole frenzy of all ebues lying and why is he lying? So I'm going to iterate to this audience the same way that I did to Mr. Rouge. Actually, let me prep this everything. Everything by saying I have no problem with Rouge. I'm a huge fan of Rouge personally, subjectively as a performer. I think he's tremendous. And I have no interest in entering any kind of public issue or spat with Rouge or fighting with Rouge or going back and forth with Rouge. I think Rouge is a great wrestler. And I have no interest in getting into some type of online firefight with Rouge. Now, with that said, what I said to Rouge is what I'm going to read right here. I have no reason to lie and I have not lied. I spoke to Dragon Lee's. It was his manager. I spoke Dragon Lee's manager because that individual reached out to me last year to just kind of clarify where his deal was. And the reason he spoke to me was because there had been some kind of circulating information about his contract that was not accurate. And so they spoke to me. And he essentially said the following. I have my notes here. So this person spoke to me and said, at the time of the conversation, this was last year, he clarified to me that Dragon Lee was barely into year two of a three year main roster contract. And this person doesn't only manage or preside over Dragon Lee. He works with numerous talent, numerous Latino talent that work in the United States. And he handles the work of these for what was described to me as like hundreds of talents. So that's what he spoke to last year. And it was a very, very, very polite and cordial conversation where he basically told me like, you know, you can reach out to me for clarification or information on numerous things pertaining to my clients. And so I remember making some comments publicly about where Dragon Lee stood with his deal because of that. And again, I only brought this up in this tweet to just give that anecdote because at the time of the conversation, it was year two over three year deal. And it's now been a year later. So that would kind of line up with what Brian Alvarez is reporting, which again, it's not my report, but it is something that he put out. Nonetheless, I'm going to give Roosh the benefit of the doubt. Maybe he misunderstood my post. Maybe he saw Dragon Lee's people and assumed that when I'm saying people, I'm referring to potentially, I don't know him or Jelistico, which no, I can say that now I didn't talk to Roosh about this. I didn't talk to Jelistico, but I never claimed to either. And not only did I claim to had I spoken to Roosh or a Jelistico, I wouldn't refer to them in that way. You know, if I were to put together a report based on information that was disseminated to me by Roosh or Jelistico, I would cite the missed talent. Or maybe like, you know, Roosh is in a circle or some drag Lee's in a circle or something along those lines. But, you know, one of the unfortunate things is a lot of these, because this is what happens, you know, the unfortunate thing about a wrestler media member spat is that it typically is just really thoroughly unproductive, you know, and then ideally I wish Roosh would have just contacted me and I would have happily just clarified these things to him. Because what now happens is the continued public distrust of media and the attacking that comes from that. And a lot of the people in my replies are saying things like, well, then show proof post-the-screen shot. And it's like, first of all, that's unethical and that's like not something I could just do. I can't just post the screenshot of the source, you know? And I'm sure most of you guys in this space's audience are aware of this and understand that. So that's kind of the deal with that. And again, I'm going to give Roosh the benefit of the doubt because the truth about wrestling folks and you guys know this and how the game goes. Their job is to lie and or to deceive. And it's not their job to protect the media or talk about the media. It's not their job to side with the media publicly. That's just not the position that they're in and I'm aware of that. That's why, you know, I'll take you guys back to two years ago. The person that broke the story that the Lucha Brothers are going to go to WWE was me. I put that out publicly. I was the first person to do so. And at the time of me doing so, it got aggregated. And if you guys remember, remember, Penn Le himself said, you know, enough with the rumors, enough with the gossip. My president is AEW. And he was at the if you go to the tweet, he's tagging myself in the rest of Pierce account. And I was live on air when I first saw this. And if you remember, I didn't, I didn't take a personal, I didn't get upset. I didn't try to enter some type of battle with with Penn Day. And even though the tweet was at my expense, literally at my expense, and was going to induce numerous stupid replies from people saying that I'm a liar, I understood that from his position, he has to do what he has to do. And he was operating from the place of I can't confirm this because if I do, then potentially I may harm my ability to get out of AEW. And I know from his perspective, it was one of those things of fuck if I say something, sorry, if I if I if I confirm this in any way, maybe Tony's going to tack time on him, ideal and I can't get out, whatever it may be, right? But I understood at the time and I told my very understanding audience, like Penta has to say that. Well, really he doesn't, he could just say nothing, but he has to say something like that because you know, you got to throw people off the sand, I guess, or whatever. But he did that. And I understood where he was in the dynamic and I just kind of left it alone knowing that what I said is the correct truth, which is he was going to W2B and that promotional materials are already being prepared so that that can be kind of put in place. And you know, Phoenix was the one who had to eat the penalty for it. But ultimately, ultimately, what ended up happening happened. Penta made his debut on W2B Television and Phoenix soon followed after Tony granted his release and they came over. You know, and I cite that to kind of just remind you guys that that's just kind of how the game goes. So I know a lot of other people are going to go, oh my god, Rush don't done Ibu and Ibu's line. And it's like it's either one of two things. He either misunderstood my post or B or B he intentionally is trying to deceive the public for whatever reason. I don't know what his angle would be with this because unless I don't know because I didn't say anything about him or his contractor, his situation, which would then make more sense for him to make some type of public rebuttal. But once again reiterating to the public here that the person I spoke to was was the manager of Dragonley, not anybody like Rush or Jelistico. And Sean Rossap is on the timeline as we speak folks pretty much confirming this because and I know I know he knows because he's also spoken to this individual who was trying to make an overture towards me because you know my messages were closed and at the time when I found out that this person was trying to contact me, I found out to Sean because Sean was like, hey this person is trying to reach you. And so it was like, I cool and then they reached me. And they've all also spoken to Sean and Sean's various replies he has said things like let's go back to this. He told the truth and he being me. Ebo told the truth. They reached out to me numerous times. This is in reference to Dragonley's management. They have reached out to me numerous times in the past two. So if Sean could join the space, I'm sure he could as soon as he's able to but that's really the long and short of it folks. That's the long and short of it. I have no reason. I have literally no reason to fabricate an interaction with Dragonley's management team. There's nothing to be gained about that. And the other thing about this is that could be something so easily publicly refuted that once you risk that it happens, it's just a massive blow. You know, no media person is winning a public dispute with the wrestler. It never happens. So again, I have no reason. I have literally no reason to fabricate this interaction. And again, if had I had an open forum to talk to Rooge, so it's simply just telling him like, like, brother, I'm not sure if you were aware of this. But I spoke to and I would tell him the manager's name by name. You know, I can't do that publicly, but I would tell Rooge like, hey, I spoke to this person. And you know, I spoke to this person and it was about this specific thing. And that's why the conversation happened. And that's what I was referring to. It wasn't anything else. And I'd imagine he would probably be like, oh, okay. In fact, I can tell you guys for a fact that it has now been communicated to somebody close to Rooge, who I was referring to. And that person kind of just hit was like, oh, oh, shit. Well, never mind. And you know, it's easy for them to go, oh, never mind. But truthfully, truthfully, it'd be nice if somebody was like either deleted the Twitter went, oh, my bad. You know, but that never happens. It never works that way.
