Phone with a million people today.
If anybody knows, they know I'm going through some paperwork.
Some of the hoops you have to jump through.
The easiest part was going to the credit score place
and basically finding out, you know, all the address
I've lived at.
I didn't know they kept track all of that.
But yeah, the VA's office sent me to some federal place
and they never answered the phone.
And yeah, then there was another state thing
that I actually figured out myself.
Because they wanted my old driver's license.
I was just sitting here doing something
and I just popped in my head.
So I just threw that.
So how far along are you in the process of the paperwork?
And I said there was like 40 something pages
or something like that.
Yeah, I'm about halfway through.
And the sergeant called me today says, yeah,
I'm hoping you can get that in my Thursday.
I said, man, I'd get it in yesterday if I could.
But I'm like crap.
I fell out.
So yeah, it's been it's been a ride.
Yeah, I'm bad.
And Jill, I see you down there.
I'm gonna pass you a mic if you want it great,
if not, I understand.
But yeah, so just been a kind of a crazy day on top
of trying to get some other stuff done.
But we're here.
We're doing it.
I got my song in last minute.
I ain't gonna tell you when.
And so everybody knows.
This week, unlike most weeks,
I usually shuffle the playlist this week.
First in, last out.
So it's another reason I'm waiting on Grace.
Here's this is her song.
So but yeah, hello Liz.
When does that ever happen Grace being the very first song?
Like, y'all, we had, there should be a holiday for this
because she's never, normally she's gotta redo it 40 times.
So anyway, hello everybody.
I don't get closed in just like,
and I'm trying to prep dinner like my home afternoon went
to the left turn on me and jacked up my schedule.
Oh, that's okay Liz.
You just let me know when you're ready.
I'm just glad we can hear you
because I know you fight with it too.
So I mean, you can put me in there if you want.
Just know I can't do anything for about a private timidness.
Well, yeah, I'm gonna,
I'm gonna get in the back channel here
and see if I can get Sissy to step on the gas.
But anyway, yes.
She'd have to pull her feet back in the car first.
Now that's true.
That might help, right?
It's gonna be a day.
I tell you what, this whole like full moon shit
needs to go away.
I'm tired of it.
Just say, just like, yeah, yeah, yeah, I think you got it.
Yeah, you do.
Yep.
Well, like I said, I just,
I threw this in the group chat.
So if I got to dunk it real quick and reset,
it makes a lot easier.
So I think somebody had a pair of players to chuck there
for a second.
I don't know what you're talking about.
Hey, Chuck, I heard a couple of your songs today.
They're really good.
Well, thank you.
Thank you very much.
The one about the door, I like that one a lot.
I can't remember what it was called,
but I like that one a lot.
So I'm just gonna get in my feels here a little bit.
This little SOB.
So I'm driving to the store today
and they played his first song.
I think it was.
And I had to sit in the car for a few minutes
because I was going in.
Because that's my little brother, man.
And it's just like he turned a leaf,
or it's part of him that I really hadn't seen.
I'm driving down the road
and I was like, what would I say?
I said something a little bro to him in the back.
And he says, yeah, it kind of gets me choked up.
And then my first reaction was the FU.
But yeah, it was a good song, brother.
That had some heart, man.
Yeah, real good.
I'm in the course.
Somebody in front of us, but that's okay.
What's up, Johnny?
Right after I said X has been a pain in the rear today,
I lost audio.
But no, that just cracked me up.
That's, I forgot the second half of it.
But you know, there you go.
Chuck did it.
Yeah, Chuck surprised me today.
I was like, whoa, I've never seen this side of Chuck.
Yeah, I need to hear this song because I obviously
was not having, I was having technical difficulties.
And I'm here now like a dinner is perhaps it's not cooked,
but it's going to stay 45 minutes for my artichokes to finish.
So I'm fixing a smoke, a big fat blunt called Dark Matter,
which ought to be a good way to start the show.
OK, so let's just throw a curveball in here
because you didn't hear it.
We'll just play it again if Chuck wants to roll it.
Oh, I think that's a grand plan.
And then when Cisby gets here, we'll start the show.
We'll wait a little bit.
Well, we'll start it.
We'll play it again.
No.
Cisby gets here.
Sweet mother of God.
Yeah, I mean.
I don't know.
There she is.
There it is.
How many were?
See, there you go.
We're all worked out.
Can I honey grow a lot?
How's my greasy girl down there?
I'd get up here.
Yeah, my wife.
I said, I'm like, I wasn't a little bit.
Yeah, well, that's not certain.
I'm going to go back to down the listener.
I got, hello.
This is Grant, son-in-law technical TV service.
I have to go help my mother-in-law fix her TV
because she disassembled it again.
So anyways, I'll be back in a little while.
Well done.
Well, it will be safe out there.
Hey, Cissy.
What's up?
Howdy.
I made it just in time.
Yeah, your other sister got here a little quicker since she
takes her host.
So, yeah, she's, she's really.
Yeah, that's fine.
I mean, better for me.
I get just enjoy.
Yeah, I appreciate you.
Yeah, we're going to play a little song that Chuck had played
earlier today that apparently maybe both of you miss.
So we're going to do that and then we'll start the show
because you're first tonight.
Oh crap, I've never been first.
Good.
Hello, you all.
Hello, you all.
Technically, not first anymore because we decided
to throw Chuck's song in there because you weren't here yet.
And we wanted to play it to you to be here to play your song.
But evidently, this was played this morning and got P
all up in his fields.
So Grace, just get ready.
Oh my lord.
OK.
Well, technically, she's the third song
because we also have the show entry song as well.
Listen, I could be the 300 strong.
It's all good.
Let's just get this show on the roll.
I'm here.
I'm on time.
My feet are kind of dirty, but I mean, they're good.
You know, with you being barefoot like you are,
I know that it's probably not factual,
but I keep thinking like Fred Flintstone feet in my head.
My dad used to tell me that all the time.
And then when I was older, he was like, you're so lucky.
I don't know how your feet are so pretty.
I'm like, because I never worried about it.
I just hope when you get here, Sissy, the first thing
I'm going to do for you is send you money
for a good pedicure because there's
a lot of things I have.
My feet are pettied up every time.
They are never not pettied up.
I thought you were going to say the first time I'm
going to say when you get here is I want to see the damn feet.
I want to see them.
Are they really pretty?
No, I can buy you shoes, too.
But you know, no, I don't want shoes.
Unless, I mean, unless we're going out on the town
and we're all going to party, then maybe I'll end up
without shoes eventually, though.
All right.
All right.
Yes, just go ahead, Chuck, whenever you're ready.
All right.
This is Mercy with a Door by Chuck.
They told me Jesus said don't judge.
Like that means never call wrong what it is.
But grace was never blindness.
And love was never permission to destroy what God is trying
to build.
I can pray for you and still walk away.
I can forgive and not invite you to stay.
I can love you without losing myself.
I can wish you peace from somewhere else.
Jesus, Apple Center's called the broken ear.
But he never told his children to live their lives and fear.
There's a difference between mercy
and ignoring every sign and guard.
And what God gave me doesn't make
this hard on time.
I won't throw stones.
I won't carry hate.
But I won't call destruction loves to prove I have.
Because love doesn't mean no flexion
isn't only what I see inside.
Sometimes it's the company walking by my side.
Do they pull me toward the light or slowly leave me
from the way?
Do their words produce the truth or steal a little piece each day?
I'm called a show compassion.
I'm called a speak with grace.
But nowhere does the gospel say let evil have its place.
So I listen, I'll be patient.
I'll get truth the chance to mend.
But reconciliation takes too hard.
It's willing to repent.
I won't throw stones.
I won't carry hate.
But disarmament isn't cruelty and wisdom isn't shed.
It doesn't mean your brothers sins against the truth.
Room to turn again.
Projected in the end.
Jesus never said what you cannot turn the other cheek.
It doesn't mean no.
So I forgive I pray.
I love and I'll let God lead the way.
Not every closed door comes from anger.
Sometimes God gave you the wisdom to close it.
Oh my God, Chuck.
Oh my God.
Yeah, that one gets me by the boob.
We're just a little bit.
I mean, just the fact that you're sharing this song.
It's so beautiful.
It's just like, ah, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus.
I love you, bro.
That song is everything we should all strive to practice,
what these lyrics say.
We don't have to surround ourselves with people
that we don't like, but we also don't have to be like them.
We need to be different.
And I love that you wrote that song.
That is so beautiful.
So I'm going to add a funny to this.
So I've had some conversations with this young man.
And that's why it was such a shock to me.
Because I've seen this boy pissed off, and it's not pretty.
So to hear that while I was driving down the road today,
I was like, excuse my French.
I was like, you little motherfucker.
But Chuck, that was amazing, son, brother.
Thank you.
Yeah, so it was absolutely amazing.
I was like, as soon as I started, I heard it.
I was like, oh, my God.
