Welcome back to shield and friends on XDDNYC updates with your host shield met an accident go Let's order up today is Tuesday Wednesday on this 26 26 we're six days nine hours and 53 minutes exactly Though DDNYC has everybody doing the day shield how are you welcome back welcome back you were very much missed I'm excited to hear how your trip was and what you have planned for us. Oh, I missed you guys I really missed you guys. It's good to be back The spaces were so different. I was just in late night spaces like 2 a.m. 3 a.m. 4 a.m. It was crazy, but Yeah, it was fun, but I definitely yeah, yeah It's different when you're not around and in spaces all the time and have like that schedule but I got home late last night and then I went to bed at like 12 and then woke up at 3 a.m And then just like I think our tea space might have just send it or I got into her space or something and I was like This is gonna be a long day. So yeah, but it's good. I mean, it's good to be back I did miss it. I felt weird like because I've never been gone that long too like working in the corporate world or Working from Mercedes like the longest I can get off is like six seven days. I just said that seven days and I That was it. So it was weird like I don't know maybe 25. I don't know that was the longest time I've been gone I think like so it was it was a weird it was definitely different and then just watching everything in the behind the scenes like You know, I'm in all the chats with with the guys and the team and stuff So just seeing everything going on and Yeah, it was different and then man like I mean our events and Five six days or something right like six days, I think Yeah, bro, it's like five days away or six days away Crazy bro, but man, I appreciate I appreciate you so much Devon in order and you know Holden it down for me for sure and then just all the other co-hosts that were added. I saw so many people I saw Vee and I saw Chi and I don't know I jumped in as many as spaces as I could when I could hear and stuff, but I was on trains and stuff and But I saw a lot of different people co-hosts. I thought that was that was really special Oh, and in a great opportunity It was so weird though. I always just see it like shielding friends and seeing like the space up there and then my son would Would say hey your space started and it's like eight o'clock at night or something and we're like on the move or something So it's just really it's everything so weird to get used to now But I I think the flight was almost 11 hours and I did not sleep at all I made sure I stayed off I actually like Watch a bunch of movies. I'm like I didn't even get internet on my phone I'm like the otherwise. I'm like I kind of wanted to just check out for a bit and just watch some stuff and Documentaries and things and then I was drinking coffee. I'm like I'm not sleeping so I would sleep good last night She I slept like the worst last night ever, but it was it was pretty wild, but yeah exciting things Man, I saw that I mean just the timeline the dog sales You know different people have an opportunity is moderating now. I saw I saw artsy and Try you know, so I see everything going on with some of that and just a lot of stuff like You know in the chats and then I'll like you think of his opportunity Man, everybody has opportunities if they if they really just show up and In step in like when there's when there's something comes up Just like if we have something out of the country or there's so many things we've talked about in the DMs these last couple weeks Even sending people to the manufacturer or the China or different things like there's a lot of things that we we sometimes We just just have issues with it could be timing shipping It could be logistics like so many things. So we are we're always thinking of the community and different people and This week we've definitely talked about a lot of different people even with our our warehouse in Papano in Florida We we were even figuring out other things like because we're gonna we're gonna move and get another Another facility especially that we're doing TCG and collectibles And we want something more like Environment or friendly and you know just just a lot of stuff because of paper because of cards and collectibles and you know, it's different Taking care of some of that stuff over like merchant clothing and fabric So there's so many things that we're we're talking about with the community and different people You know like so I know that like yesterday we talked about four different individuals and thinking maybe some people could Do some stuff if it's driving if it's coming out there We kind of look at where people do live in their areas and stuff so A lot of cool stuff. So I think right after this DDNYC event like we're already talking about other stuff in Florida Near art basil and something we could do really cool with that and have that more TCG related We do have some we have some Some venues and some places we can get we just got to think of of timing You know with with that week with our basil if it's before it if it's after it So we're just trying to figure out a lot of stuff like that. We do have like tile group now The has a facility that's that's almost finished in Florida um At a whole it's a it's a hotel. It's a pool. It's brand new But we think it's gonna be the end of December or January So we have a lot of different options and different things we can do and TCG related more game related more Collectible related and we could figure out the the whole speaking and conference it if you know if we Switch that up, you know every once well as it's something we'd want to do in Miami or do we want to just do a TCG and Do a cool hang out and do a couple days of it So um we're kind of already on that mission to figure out what we want to do next and kind of switch up the whole The whole game plan a little bit with different things and um It's gonna be good because like this event with all the conversation In different topics, you know on stage and and just just different people connecting with each other You know different connections between each other and different relationships Um, but it's gonna be really cool with with people because I know a lot of people are gonna share ideas Um, we know we're all meeting great people, you know There's a lot of people that are gonna meet for the first time for sure Um, and it's it's different when you meet somebody face to face in person You know like that that relationship and that bond um, it's it's something different when it's when it's um When it's like that but uh, I feel like uh We can grow a lot from this event and from these these new opportunities with everybody so it's gonna be really good um Yeah, that's where the real networking is gonna happen is is with this with the speakers with the ideas Um with a bunch of stuff, so it's gonna be really good Bro, I'm excited for the opportunities and I'm excited to see uh the new moderators step up into those positions Uh, you know every time I see somebody kind of take on a new role or something that they've definitely been working hard to get it I just I constantly think back to that word launchpad so um, you know, there's definitely a launchpad here that's propelling people who are putting in the work to continue to grow and and succeed in that too So I'm excited bro. Yeah bro that launchpad word we talked about it so many times order and Manjit just everything the real value of you know getting together networking and connecting and man like There's so many things like in questions people ask me and man just being inspired to be around each other all of us like Where wherever we come from like just different different um topics we know about and the specialties in this community if it's you know making art if it's websites if it's if it's as a speaker if it's just Your history and in in life and what you do how you build a brand or a business I'm any of that I can't even agree more you know coming into the community. I wasn't really anticipating collaborating as intensely As order and I have been now and and I'm definitely looking forward to future collaborations with more people in the community But it was just this instance in since in particular has been incredibly challenging With what we're doing, but it's been an incredible process and I owe I owe it to the Dogeville dogs To even be in that position like it is truly a launch pad If you have no idea what opportunities might flow in just by being present by showing up by being consistent By by doing what you say you're going to do and connecting with other ambitious Driven individuals because it's like it just this happened naturally order and I were just talking one day about Things that we would want to do and then with the gopitation came out it like it sparked us To have a deeper conversation about like what we could create and we sent a couple ideas back and forth And then eventually we stumbled on the thing that we're doing now and I don't know It's it's incredible and that's just one instance of the opportunity is that Can come I can only imagine what kinds of conversations are going to unfold at ddnyc and what kind of collaborations and advancements can come out of that I think you guys have cultivated a incredible atmosphere for Growth and it's really amazing. I can't wait. I'm so excited. It's like five days away. I feel like a little kid Yeah, so you were just talking about it this morning like you're like I've met like 12 people in the community I remember you saying that in the early morning space and you know like events are so important like I couldn't just be in web 3 um Just to get on the space and talk like every day like Events are really really important for communities and bond bonding and just sharing ideas um in different people work well in different situations, you know, it could be like I like being in person with people or being in rooms with people way more than You know like on the stage or speaking, you know like I just it's just I just like being with the people So to me like Events I just think they're so important. That's how you keep the foundation so strong the people, you know, it's real Like you're meeting the person behind this this dog this pfp Then you're meeting other people um and you're telling people your stories and you know a lot of people You're going to see are going to speak at this event that not even saying on stage But just in person and making a relationship and introducing yourself and you know, that's that's really really important You know that that connecting with the community and the people um and know everybody that goes to this event You know, it's gonna go by so quick and people are gonna wish they spent more time with certain people like so make sure You definitely get outside of your click too. I know a lot of people have like amazing relationships with with people They vibe with you know every day or for the last couple years But you know definitely connect with with other people in the community because there's a lot of quiet people too that You know work nine to five and just listen to your space every day or jump in spaces every day that you don't get to talk to or hear from and that's like what I I'm really excited about is just connecting with other people that I haven't connected with and I've definitely these last Last maybe three four weeks. I've talked to a lot more people that That have been in the community that haven't talked to in a couple like in years because they're not really on spaces and Man, just amazing conversations and amazing ideas that people are coming up with but I feel like all these conversations You know even even you know in spaces, but all these conversations in person you know add an event It's definitely an opportunity to learn from each other and and connect and man build some other bonds and in Meaningful relationships, you know real relationships um and that's what we do in in web 3 but I or L I think it's it's really important then people are bringing you know the more events we have the more you know people can bring Friends and introduce them. I know a lot of people do talk to you know friends Is their family and tell them about this and their people are confused, you know like I talked a lot of people and it's two years later And they're like what do you really do and you know I'll talk about NFTs and descriptions, you know They are obviously know a little bit of all crypto, but like what we do and I talk about people in the community and you know Where they come from what they do and just all these just just you know how amazing the community is and it's still like when people come to an event I feel like they're really going to see what we have like you know how close we are hundreds of people um So it's yeah, it's it's important, but it's Five six days what the heck that's just crazy man and we got so much stuff that much down today and yesterday thankful for that too because there's always like man shipping, you know, um by boat shipping by air There's certain things we try to rush because of just production there's some things we may have had may have to push till you know
