boom starts off we're kind of slow steady and people filter in. I've noticed Thursday night when you launch polls it's like they block it and I don't know if it's the difference between Thursday night and Saturday evening but yeah you're gonna have to coach me up on that. I don't know, nobody wants to go in the basement I guess. It might be it might be her harassing them too within the DMs. Just sending out the uh sending out the space making sure they know. Yeah, yeah, I guess that's it. I've already done that ski you're covered and before we start please everybody you guys know you know the drill it's redundant but during all of our spaces we ask that you all please repose the space that's how we get the word out. Besides you know our posts here and there but mainly it's through repose and fire up the pill allow for engagement get to know each other throw your art, throw your links in there. It's just a wonderful way to show love for the spaces that we're in and for the hosts and co-hosts and all the listeners and a way to stay connected while we're listening to the music so thank you and I appreciate you all for doing that all the time you guys are amazing. Oh it is and it's so much fun by the way while you're listening to the great tunes to be able to scroll through the pill and see all the great artwork and the inside jokes and the memes and everything else that you generously share it's great. And when Grace falls off because she's in the pill all the time. No more not happening and public service announcement for anybody that uses the XIS app I will understand if you want to drop from the space real quick and go to the app store and update your X app because I found that out the hard way today in Hidjust Base that I kept getting bounced out of the co-host seat and turns out when I checked there was an update I updated my app problem solved so just a little FYI they did push an update out today for iOS Android I know absolutely nothing about but I have been hearing and reading good things on the timeline that they are starting to improve the experience for the Android user well because I don't know if you if you ever look at your stats Grace or not but I have noticed recently it used to be for me anyway predominantly iOS but it's a pretty even balance now that I'm seeing which is about you know equal shares of iOS and Android then a small percentage on the web but anyway that's enough that's enough for me on the update and the only other thing I'm going to mention is I want to actually think the contributors people who keep submitting their beautiful music this week we're we tried something a little bit different because we're a victim of our own success and I encourage people to share their music but what what I did when I was making the playlist is people that submitted multiple songs were taken one song from each of you to put it in to trim the playlist back to a reasonable length so please I hope nobody takes any offense if you submitted five songs and only one of them got onto the show it's absolutely no judgment on the songs that you submitted um I got together with Mo and we played the eany meany mindy mo game and we pick songs and we put the playlist together regardless you're in for a great show lots of great music from lots of different people and by the way if you didn't get a song onto the playlist for this week show the and I'll drop it in the pill the the call for submissions for next week is already up still you can just drop it in there and then you can forget about it because you're already set up for next Saturday show with that uh grace now as you got anything else you'd like to announce maybe some uh updates across the communities or upcoming spaces and then we'll start playing music um well for the um for the for the Paul's community specifically to well Monday um at 11 Eastern time till five Eastern hmm not it's gonna be what's up tomorrow just tomorrow we got start with tomorrow because tomorrow got there yeah yeah yeah Darren I don't know if he's here but um Darren's hosting the art party tomorrow night thank you Grace at seven p.m. East now for people who don't understand or know what the art party is the art party's not a space this takes place on the timeline right yeah so it'll be posted on Darren's page essentially there's gonna be a theme it's anthropomorphic animals um and really the only rule is just go drop your art there it doesn't have to be on theme uh on theme but I mean usually we get anywhere from I don't know 50 to 150 pieces of art from all the people in the community so it's really fun to uh go check out what everybody's doing drop your own art um and then that usually goes from about seven p.m. until what kind of it there's no real end to it but usually it's over by like 10 or 11 um but yeah it should be it should be a pretty fun time now since I I'm absolute new in that area when you do it and you go in and you find the post and then are people dropping their art into the comments or are they encouraged to quote post um the thread you can quote post it but yeah you're gonna want to drop the uh art in the comments and that way there's just gonna be however many replies and you can just scroll through there and see everybody's stuff comment on it and everything um you are encouraged to quote post it as well though um especially to get more get it on get more eyeballs on it um but yeah generally you're gonna want to drop it down in the comments if you want the most people to see it how it's like beautiful beautiful and I'll stop interrupting their fun because I'm sure you've got a list no it's probably a good idea to get people who aren't familiar with it a little bit of detail all right so that's Sunday Monday um 11 to 5 Eastern is gonna be the Megan Music Mondays with Johnny and Twitter um it's gonna be I'm not I'm not sure Twitter do you guys have things set for that I think he's up here he's got a mic yes sorry I was in the other room um yes this week uh we're doing a whole thing where uh Johnny was looking for people to submit a list of their favorite songs um and we're gonna go hour by hour and play people's lists okay so the personal playlist is this week's thing basically cool we'll send those personal playlist I want to say he said up to like 10 to 12 songs um even if it's a few songs you guys will try to put a couple of shorter ones together into one one hour and then Monday night um mr. Northwest Patriot has doing this to let him talk about a 7 p.m. podcast both I'll just talk about it then because of that now go ahead P you want to tell him about Stinger night he needs us Kevin brother um actually it's it's pretty much Liz's deal but uh you know Chuck and I are along for the ride on that one but she's basically she where we're we're taking two Stingers per and you gotta get these submissions in pretty soon because she's gonna lock that down and then we're gonna do some songs so submit some songs to one song each um and there's no guarantee on whether your songs get played or not so that's just how it is because we don't know how many Stingers where we get so we're just it's gonna be kind of fun everything's be up in the air we're just gonna have a good time lots of laughs um so if you're sitting down and you can't get to the bathroom in time I would say put on some depends because we're just uh a little time so uh but yeah yeah because because I'm back baby so um but yeah just uh Stingers uh Chuck's just killed me with one like 10 minutes ago 15 minutes ago because we had a little space before this so um but uh yeah we're gonna have a good time so just submit your Stingers and uh two out northwest you and Liz and the whole crew deserve credit because the Monday night podcast is the most fun you guys have the mystery night game now this I think is brilliant the the Stinger space is gonna be a riot um yeah you guys are pushing the envelope and I appreciate that man not I appreciate you I don't deserve credit for that Chuck Chuck and Liz are amazing co-hosts we we've got Twitter and and Jill who are on the team too when we need backup so they're the ones who get this all done and Liz is the mastermind behind this this week's theme so um she she can take all the credit for that and I know she's cooking dinner should be here in a while but uh yeah her and Chuck do do uh the lion share the work but I appreciate it I'm gonna shut my mouth because you got a show around yeah well appreciate it Northwest I I I'm looking forward to it I don't think I I'll have much to submit because I'm probably gonna go into a coma after the show but uh yeah shout that out and then we roll into Tuesday Tuesday night Nico has the eight-bit show which is turned into an absolute gas uh eight-bit music and kind of uh walk down memory lane for all you gamers uh the the why Nico you're here why don't you speak about eight-bit and then Wednesday night and Friday night absolutely thanks for having me up how you doing tonight Steve I'm old non brother I'm sucking coffee I gotta get my ass woke up yeah well I can yap a bit while you get vaccinated so Tuesday uh Twitter and I are doing Sonic Boom the eight-bit show it's a really fun kind of nerd out and veg out don't worry about anything serious space where we talk about video games in the industry and the culture of things and we every now and then fear into pop culture as well and might touch on just random subjects it's mostly a conversational space but we do do quite a bit of musical interlutes where we play video game inspired music that's always a lot of fun Wednesday the following night I've got Sonic Boom's sleep radio I'm going with an Indian theme this week which I've had a lot of fun making music for so far I've been able to get quite a few very different prompts out of it the only problem I run it into is sooner once to make like every single song that I'm making like eight minutes long so I'm trying to work on getting those prompted down in length so we can get plenty in the list and then Friday of course we're doing a song wait before you move on I want to clap point of clarification when you say Indian music you are referring to convenience store Indian not TP Indian right I like the quote from an old episode of The Sims is worth dot not better so to answer yes it could be in its store not TB but yeah it's going to be a really relaxing playlist I'm probably going to do something a little bit different with the stingers this time maybe take a page out of Jill book and do a little bit of some like meditative mantra is here and there and then yeah Friday doing unplugged again yesterday's unplugged was my favorite episode so far Jill or not Jill Grace wrote my favorite new song ever it's called funner did it much to my chagrin and I've listened to it like five times already I'm very much into it and I want to thank Grace again so much for making that song for us I yeah the only problem with that song was my face hurt I laughed so damn hard brilliant shout out it was and Nico you're such a good sport because she did take direct fire straight at you no that was all done and love yes it was all in love and and I said that somebody commented I think it was dare and that left a comment in my sooner about it and I said I'll consider it a full victory if I hear Nico start to use the word funner in spaces that victory might be a little bit of a ways away I said that will commemorate forever the day that he was like all right it was this funny I'll let her slide oh my god yeah since it isn't acoustic song though I'm definitely going to be playing it in unplugged on Friday that's for sure well something to look forward for for sure and we did skip right over Thursday which is I'll let Grace tell us about this because this has turned into the music space phenomena what do we have in store three can I have one more things he oh yeah sure certainly I've already got all my submission posts up so I've got a really heavy workload this week so I would appreciate if people can get their submissions in as early as possible I've got those all down in the purple pill and they're all on my time perfect and that is people if if you have never hosted or organized a music excuse me music space there's a ton of work to go into getting it ready so yeah help Nico out drop your entries go ahead Grace um yeah this
