🎙️INTERVIEW: How I Dropped the Gaslighting Myth and Took Back My Mind

We feared for her safety. We thought she'd been kidnapped from the planet by nefarious aliens driving Big Mac truck UFOs. You know, stay away from Big Mac trucks. It looked like, you know, 18 winners of the like UFOs, but she's safe and sound. We can all rest of these Honey Badgers things are being here. And we have an interview scheduled in this not with Honey Badger, but I love to hear her perspective. But I'm going to interview one of my dear friends who I think I've known her gosh, it may have been over a year now who bravely contacted me through DM and said, Hey, I have an experience that I would like to share and I'm going to interview her. And if you're a speaker, I'm not trying to, as they say, Lord anything over anybody. But this is this is a gift. This is a responsibility. Don't be rude when I'm interviewing this lovely person here. Otherwise, you get put in the penalty box, which is is a deep, dark place, you know, worse than shale itself. I'm sure because as you all know, if you can't speak in the space, it's obliteration. I don't really recall that happening, but you know, as LeBernie Shirley used to sing, high hopes, we got high hopes, big apple pie in the sky hopes. And this is what the rubber tree ants said. So this particular, I don't mean to be rude, this particular rubber tree ant, if they showed up, I actually, I don't remember being crushed. But maybe maybe I was having an out of the body experience, you know, maybe maybe the aliens kidnaps my psyche and transported me to the planet Lunoz. And I wasn't, you know, as Paul said, did Paul say that? I want to know a man that was called a honey badger can can straight me out on that. But, but no, I don't recall that happening. Yeah, or anybody, you know, if anybody is, if, if someone's, you know, doing something naughty to you in my space, they need to stop it. They need to go somewhere else. You know, I, I, as I love to say, and I used to say this was Alexander Hamilton. I got that wrong, you know, evidence of my lack of innocence. Evanilo is Abraham Lincoln. And he made, he made a statement. And then it got kind of construed along the centuries to be this quote that I dearly, dearly love. I treat people the way I treat them, not because of who they are, but because of who I've decided to be. You can best demonstrate your high character by not lowering your character when you're dealing with people who have chosen low character. It just makes you another low character person, you know, which you're welcome to be, but you don't have to be. Treat people the way that you do in, I would say ignorance in blindness of how they treat, treat people the way that you treat them because of who you've decided to be. Display high character, you know, and it's, it's, it's truly, I think a very, very thing. And I take that very seriously, but I have a few questions, but let me just toss it to you and see, you mean, this was your idea. What spurred your eye to it, and then I got a few questions. Hi, Dr. Heath. Nice to finally meet you, virtually, I guess. Okay, so I, and I appreciate you offering your bodyguard assistance at zero cost. I really appreciate that. Okay, so I've been listening in your spaces for, you know, a long time, but more importantly, the last few spaces, I think three to four have been on the construct or the myth of gas lighting. So, you know, I said, let me reach out to him and see if there's a way that maybe I can offer my perspective just from, you know, a regular person, not somebody who's academia, not someone who has researched this at all, but just from my experience, and how I completely disagree with anyone being able to be gas lit, or you know what, let me just keep it on me on myself being able to have the term gas lighting applied to anything that I've thought or I've experienced or someone, or I've experienced with someone else. So, after that, I said, okay, I have to study all those those spaces, and I got out my notebook, and I'm like, I'm going to, you know, I'm going to research every single term, and I'm going to become an expert in the gas lighting, you know, term, and I said you know what, I'm just going to come in, I'm going to speak from my heart, and hopefully it comes out okay, I have no expectations, you know, I'm not trying to convince anyone of, you know, of changing anyone's mind, I'm just trying to come from a place that was maybe from a different, a different outlook as far as everyone else I've been hearing in the space, not everyone, but quite a few people have been coming really hard at Dr. Heath, and I was just trying to lend a helping hand to give a different perspective on this term. Well, I tell you what, this takes a lot of courage, you know, takes a lot of courage, and by the way, I'm just, it's great to hear your voice, let me just compliment you on tone, volume cadence, you know, rate and rhythm of speech, how you're presenting your thoughts and ideas, all the things that people worry about, what you guys are hearing is a amazing individual realizing that she's in control of all of these things, not the yukk yukks and the mukkati mucks in the space, you know, not the boo crowd, not the chaos clan, not the quote, you know, gaslighting myth brigade, but she is. She's in control of how she decides to think in this space as am I, as is TMR, as is, you know, arguably because you know, you can only do so much if you're a Australian, right? And, and, and by the way, I would never reveal anything he once said to me in a, in a, in a, in a DM, but there's one thing that he should have shared with me that really, really shocked me that I was share out because I just didn't know this about him. He, he revealed something in that that is, Australians have power because sometimes it can go out. I could not have been more shocked. I thought, how do you, you, you have a electrical grid in Australia? I mean, I've watched the movie, Crocodile Down Diem, many times, and most of those people seem not to have power, so good for you. I'm so glad that you guys are being, we've had power for a couple of years, we're getting hot water next time. That's amazing. You know, I'm going to stop feeding Sara for you. Yeah, I mean, once you have hot water, you've arrived into the first world, but good for you. Well, I have some questions for, for Scorpio. Do you recall it and you may not, but when did you first hear about this term, you know, gas-sliding? Is this something you've heard for a long time or is this kind of a new concept? This is, yeah, it's, it's fairly new. I even wanted to go and research that, but I said, let me just go by my own memory because, you know, I didn't want to put too much into like the research end of it. I just wanted all of this to come from my heart, and I think I want to say maybe the last post-COVID, if I had to guess, definitely more so online than anywhere else, but you know, everything starts online, and then it filters out to real life, especially when it comes to the younger generation, our children are being affected by all these terms, and you know, gas-sliding is one of those things that is, it's thrown around very, very freely, and you know, in my opinion, I do not have any medical or psychiatric training. I just feel like it is completely an empty term that means absolutely nothing, and I say that because I think we shortchange ourselves when we just turn to the word gas-sliding. It's, you know, the things that happen to us to make us feel like we have been gas-sliding are so much more deep, you know, they cut the skin so much deeper, they make us bleed so much more than just to be able to apply a term called gas-sliding to it. You know, there's a lot of pain that goes behind the things that people call gas-sliding, so I refuse to give that part up, you know, people go through a lot in life, and to have it just kind of generalized as a term to me is is robbing me of my pain because my pain is what got me to be able to be the person that I am today. I love that, that's beautiful. You know, I, where Agripp was actually worse in Australia, where Agripp we did have a TV, it was one of those old two TVs and we got, let me count them up, one channel, and that was only if it wasn't storing really bad, and if you went outside and grabbed this large pole, yes, keep them, those I'm talking about, and you had to, you learned directions very well, you know, it really blows my mind that I'll point, someone will say, which way should I go? Well, you know, go west, young man, and people will say, which way is that? And you learned directions because you had to point your antenna in the direction of the TV station, and it was, you know, K-I-T-T-V, channel eight, and that's where we got our TV from. Therefore, I went up watching a lot of old movies. I saw the old movie Gaslight, no, no, no, contrary to some critics, I did not see it in the movie theaters when it first came out, but I could have, if I should have, I'm just joking, I saw it in my living room in this, my grandparents house, who we moved into when we had to leave Nashville, and but I didn't hear the term applied to people until probably the mid-2000s, and I started having people coming in saying, their gaslighting man, I would think, what, what are you even talking about? Do you mean the movie? And I would have people say, the movie, what are you talking about? There's a movie, well, yeah, man, there's a freaking movie. You're basing your label on a Hollywood movie, what other parts of your life that you take seriously, do you base on a movie, and not just a Hollywood movie movie that might have, that came out before you're born, you know, and to me that just sounded like a really, really bad idea.
