other than obviously me trying to find the time to speak with girls. And yesterday we had a beautiful conversation with Bayfriend. The guys are awesome. Yesterday, a couple of days ago, at this point again, I need to reiterate this, I don't know where I am. I barely know my name. But the guys are building for real. The guys are very legit guys and I'm very happy that they are here with us. And yeah, you know, it's always a busy day when you work in Web 3, especially now, the NFT sentiment is down. We need to work extra hard to make things work and we need to work extra hard to make things work because our community deserve it. People that still believe in NFTs, they still buy cell, create NFTs, deserves a place where they can feel at home. And we are doing our best to make this happen on launch NFT. But other than this, it's hot, man. They said that would rain. Now, tomorrow they said here we rain, I hope because I'm melting. I have this fucking air conditioner that I don't remember at time where I couldn't hear the air conditioner's noise in the background. I hate it. At this point, I hate it. We were promised rain every day and I feel like I had a week's worth of rain in about 15 minutes. And now it's just hot again. It's kind of hot on the on the east coast. Not sure about the weather up maybe a bit further up north. But that's an excellent segue to my friend who is in, well, he's not up north but he's north of where I live in the UK which is not difficult because I am a savannah. My wife is from Brazil, so a very, very hot country. And we arrived here in Italy. She said that she never suffered heat as much as she suffers here despite the temperature being a little bit lower. It's because of, and this I will say something that is very boomer of me is very old guy of me. It's because of the humidity. The humidity facts you have. And I bet that in England, you swim, you don't breathe, you swim on the street, you don't, that must be a humidity that is crazy. But yeah, I think we are on the same boat kind of. I heard from a colleague from Alisson that there's been some crazy stuff going on for the heat. You know, like some, sorry, I think you hear my wife yelling, laughing in the background, but she told me that some blocks, some houses took fire in there. It's been crazy. Crazy stuff. For the stuff. For as many as from my house where they'll happen, like, and when I walked out to my house, I could see the smoke was very different. Like, it like spread across the landscape. You know what I mean? Like, yeah, he was, the thing is as well, the houses that like all the houses that got burnt down were like, and north of 1.5 million each dude. It was like one of the most affluent areas. Yeah, dude. Yeah, they took, took out about like 50 million pounds worth of hours. I mean, just like a small like two more square. But we've been having wall foes all over the place, dude, in the middle. Like wall foes in the UK, dude, like literally crazy. That was the crazy thing, you know, because when she told me, oh, you know, this is burning. I said, what the fuck are you? California? You know, it's, it's the UK. You know, but these years been crazy. I hope that things are, you know, we get better, you know, we should have, whatever we are talking about the weather. That's usually the last the topic. So he'll know all about the weather chat. That is all, all we talk about. So it must be first priority, especially when we've had an extensive run of crazy weather. But I do think we've been talking about for a little bit too long now. I like the message that Juliano put in the comments. I'm on holiday. I'm on the counter because I'm looking for a new place to leave. And the weather is shit. That's, yeah, I mean, that's summarized basically everything we said to each. Yeah. Basically, yeah, that, that just about sums it up. But I think maybe we should do some intros, we should go around the guys here a little bit about where they're from and what they're, they're building, etc. And then we'll sort of dive into it a bit more with some of the guests. So I would like to hear from Shaolin first, I think they were in there nice and early. And yeah, mate, what can you tell us about Shaolin yourself maybe a little bit? Yeah, what's up, man? Thanks for having us on. Appreciate it. And yeah, just to go back to the weather, English people like to talk about that for sure. But anyway, we'll move on from that. Yeah, so we, I think most people already know that we're in this space already, but we mean about three months ago. It's a free mint. Just being sore slowly building up, it was a tough time to mint. So we decided on a free mint, but kind of did it via mint passes. So it wasn't just like open to everybody. We kind of tried to select people we thought would be good enough, you know, not just people coming and farming for a white list and all that. So yeah, that was the kind of a crazy time I think Ramb was seeing the discord at the time. It was just nonstop chat all day, but you know, we didn't want to just do free because it would just get botted. It's a small election, like three or eight. So we sort of took about a month, slowly selected people. You know, it was all sorts of people. We didn't just do the normal thing, just pick big accounts. It was like people with like 20 followers and stuff sometimes, you know. But just tried to create a good bunch of people, good community. And yeah, so far so good. And that was kind of the start of things, I guess. From there, we did like a adrop for the holders, which basically was like four sort of clan badges that's called them for now, right. And the idea was we'll run a 12-month sort of game with these. So every month, you've got to collect a combination of the four. It might be like one of each four or one, whatever it may be. So people have to sort of swap trade, try to get the sort of the amount needed. And then they're just enter like a prize draw to win various things like this month, we gave away 150 pounds, ledger voucher plus one sold ago with it. Haven't actually announced next prize yet, but that will happen in the beginning of September. So that's the first thing we started to do, which was quite fun for the community. Since then, just slowly started, I mean, we're already built a lot of stuff around sort of meme coins and things like this before we even launched. So that was all I from day one because we wanted to make sure, you know, everything was in place as soon as people got the NFT. We didn't want people waiting around. But now would a meme coin stuff done. And as I said on a space every day when we started, it was like, I think around two, some are 2024, I think it was. And at the time it was like, you know, no one was talking about NFTs on a timeline. But if you've been around long enough, you know, things come in cycles, you know, there'll be one thing that's hot for a bit. Then that's just dead. And then it moves around. So we had plenty of time to kind of get everything in place, which is why I think the launch went pretty well. Yeah, so that was the start of it. And at the minute, we just started focusing more on the NFT side of the things, like different tools for people that like want to trade, get signals for all that sort of stuff. So we're currently building some things for that at a moment. Actually testing something in the discord at a minute, but yeah, that's kind of the beginning of things, man. So it's early days for us to be fair. Yeah, definitely. I think. I think that I want to say to Shaolin. Yeah. And this is something that I already said yesterday to another project. I don't remember who because I don't remember things. It's not only because the timing, and it's not only because of what you did to sell out. It's also mainly, in my opinion, because of the quality that you're offering to people. If I buy a Shaolin NFT, I feel I'm buying something that has value because it's high quality. And I want to give you, you, or your artist, praise for it because in my opinion, we should keep, we should have a certain degree of a standard for the quality that we put out there and you guys exceeded expectation, expectations. I don't you believe in my humble opinion. Now, I appreciate that because the artwork for us was kind of the number one thing. You know, we wanted to do something would be really good as a PFP sort of collection. The artist is, I think, confiding on X, if you type apes 94 or art of apes, I believe it is. So he did the metami or metami, however, people want to sort of talk about it, but very talented artists, I really liked the stuff he did. So we took a lot of time on the art. In fact, I think once all the traits were done, we generated around 1500 NFTs and handpicked from that down to 308. So I could get the most from the artwork, which wasn't an easy task. It took a good week of trying to decide what was what. But in the end, I felt that was worth it. It's worth spending the time. You've got good artists. They spend a lot of time trying to make everything look good. So when you come to sort of put it all together and get all the traits nice looking, I think it's worth sometimes rather than just doing, you know, spitting out 388 and going that's a collection. It's like, let's run a much high number and sort of curate that down to what we feel was the best sort of color pallets and everything. So yeah, we definitely took quite a lot of time on the art. I think a lot of people like the artwork, but that was one of the most important things for us to be fair. It's like, you could have all the tools all the TLCs, but if the artwork's not good, no one's really going to rock one, you know, rock that as a PFP, and then, you know, it just sits in someone's wallet, which I don't think I won't say anything about AI artwork, because I know some people like that. But personally, you know, I think NFTs, part of the beauty of that was the fact that you have artists creating these things. And, you know, they should get their props too. I love what coaches do, you know, that's like, you know, they're really like honing on that whole sort of angle, which are a speck man, because I don't think enough artists get the praise they deserve. It becomes all about the projects and the founder, but, you know, if you actually care about the artwork, I think, I mean, if you look in our bio, for example, I've tagged Apes, you know, I've put artists and now stay there forever, you know, because without him, again, you know, you're missing half the things, so I think that's pretty important.
