The female human character story is resurrect her dead loved one.
The male story is he wants power, he wants to be king.
But then there's a skeleton who is literally just an animated skeleton.
A necromancer has sent on a task to go and acquire the stone.
But I don't, I'll ruin the story for the, you know, however many people are chilling
here.
The skeleton actually, when he gets the stone, he just wishes that he's dead.
He's like, I don't want to be alive.
I'm sick of this.
Yeah.
Well, he was like, I was dead already.
I want to go back to the other side.
He's, you know, I'm forced to do this.
And so he just kills himself.
And then there's going to be it.
Yeah.
With all the different, like the orca character, like, there's not really a, an in-depth story.
It's a rogue like.
So it's just you can have a bunch of save files.
Like, yeah, my orcs at level 27.
And then the way the game works is after, after you get to the first floor and defeat the boss,
congratulations, you win.
And then you can start back over whatever, whatever level you were, but you can find rare
items that unlock the catacombs, which is an infinite version of the game so you can continually
just upgrade your character and play forever.
That's awesome.
Well, it's cool to because like those kind of things, like you, you can have these like
light stories that you develop with each of the characters.
But then if obviously if it takes off, like, these stories will just kind of develop
on their own and you can kind of linger out with them too.
Yeah.
And the card system is fun too.
So I think because of how insane Astra is actually just took Astra just to go to computer
right now.
Yeah, it's literally that was one of the things I was like, I don't know if I can live stream
because I think GPT might just take the computer over and then click something stupid.
Who knows?
Well, we'll just get him a voice and then he can just jump in chat with us.
Oh, dude, it's insane, man.
It's crazy.
It's going to be exponential, bro.
This next year, I think we're going to see it faster than we've seen AI development
over the past like decade, like it's going to be insane.
I tweeted, AGI is already here and I don't think people, I think people overestimate what
AGI is meant to be and maybe I'm wrong.
But my understanding was artificial and artificial general intelligence is when the AI system
operates as though it's an expert in whatever you're asking.
So like if it is better than the average person at this task, it is generally intelligent.
But I think people are confusing AGI with artificial super intelligence where it rapidly improves
itself, which it may be doing now anyway.
But when I'm talking, I'm talking chat that point.
I think it might be, I mean, this is nuts.
So yesterday I said, hey, you know, we're working on a bunch of games and we made, you
know, like Ian's little silly game room thing.
But I'm like, I can actually remote control chat GPT.
I don't need to act to sit here anymore.
My phone shows me exactly what it's doing, shows me the graphics, the artwork, the code.
So I left and it's like, I'm going to get some food and I went and got dinner and I'm
just staring at my phone while I'm eating, watching it work.
And it's like, it was, I got to tell you man, when I'm talking to a contractor and I'm
like, hey, I need this task done and they don't respond for 15 minutes because they're
like in the bathroom or something.
Right.
That doesn't even happen.
Like, it's crazy because it's like, it's like, talking to a developer who's literally
there talking back.
Well, and I can't even imagine at this point too, like, like, I think you've been talked
about the stuff before, but it's like the only reason that it's not already taking over
like every industry is by manual, like manually, we're putting up the guard rails to try and
hold the economy together.
But we're like already at the point where if we wanted to and in the economy was of no
issue, we would just start having this like develop and learn and just take over like every
business, like anything that's not like hands on, like, you know, and dry-freeing and stuff
is going to take a while.
We need the robots and stuff, but it's going to be.
I think we're here.
Yeah.
Like, that a six months ago, the graphic design stuff was just not usable.
Today, the graphic design is over.
It's no more six fingered hands, you know, and I know people get really mad about it.
This is what's really crazy about AI graphics is that I see a lot of people online complying,
like, oh, don't do thumbnails with AI.
It's cringe.
You can't do it.
You cannot exist in a media space where people are producing graphics for free and you're
spending time or money to make graphics.
Oh, it's ridiculous.
I got people that are trying to go.
They're, you know, booking for college right now.
They're taking out loans to go to college and, you know, whatever, my girl's sister.
She's like talking about she's going to go do graphic design and I'm like, I don't want
to be a dick to her, you know what I mean?
But I'm also like, that's so stupid.
Like, that's the dumbest thing you could probably get into right now if you were looking
at like what we're mapping out for the future here.
Like that's not going to be a viable job.
Graphic design and everything.
No.
Like, thank you so for, for like this game, the card system.
So you'll, you'll defeat a monster and then it's like a, it's like a one in a thousand
chance they drop a pack of cards.
So it's particularly rare.
But the chests have a much higher drop rate for cards and then there's varying, varying
rarities and power levels to what the cards can do.
It's, it drew all of the cards, all of the art.
It like all I did was type it out and then it was like in a second, here's the image
and I'm just my mind is blown.
I mean, it's still obviously AI.
Yeah.
I'm going to get through that AI.
I look at you to tell to take the textures off because it just puts this thick dark texture
on everything it renders.
That's how everybody can tell, everybody can tell when you're flyer as AI because you're
not giving it specific parameters.
So I'm also surprised that it's not putting hot air, it's not putting hot air balloons in
it because that's one of the default images for AI.
Did you see, did you see Grums' game?
His, no, what, what, what, what did you put that up?
Go to Grums.
He, I think he dropped it yesterday and he's, he's doing more today's drop.
He probably already had it.
Yeah.
Yeah.
He dude, he's been working for six months and he's been just using claw.
Like he hasn't even tapped in.
I think he maybe just now started tapping into Astro with it, but he's kind of far in development
for that, but he's just been doing clawed with it and he has like, oh wow.
You're looking at it like full three.
Yeah.
Like it's insane, dude.
It's insane.
Dude, this is crazy.
And that's the kind of game I'm working with too or working on, but I was like actually
early enough just kind of messing around with my free time with it that I'm like, well,
I can actually, I don't need to use clawed anymore.
I can bring it straight to Astro and it'll be expensive, but like it's, I would say the
gaming industry is over at this point like or yeah, like GTA 6 took 15 years.
GTA 7 will be done in a month literally, literally.
You know, it's, you know, I don't, the, the gaming, a lot of people have made the argument
that we're going to go into a creative space now because of AI.
I think so, but it's going to be tough because why, let me say like this, my brother's been
working on video games using like soul and like older models.
And they're, they're not that good.
They roll out fable and they rolled out Astro and all of a sudden the work my brother did
and spent money with tokens over three months can be done in an hour.
So yeah, I'm explaining it's like that, that, that, that theory of space colonization
where they say if you were to get on Elon Musk Starship right now, you'd be halfway
to Alps and Tari when a human ship would pass you by because the amount of time it would
take you to get there, humans would have developed better technology that can move faster
than the ship you're on.
Yeah.
And that's what it feels like right now with all of this.
I was talking about my brother's, I'm like, should we even be spending money because in
two months when they wrote the new model, I'm going to be able to snap my fingers and
the game's done in 10 minutes instead of spending two days.
Literally, that's, I mean, I was trying to rate when the prospect of using AI to start
like using doing game development and stuff started.
I was like, oh, let me crack into this, you know, start working on stuff and every time
I like get a little bit started on it, it's like the next model comes out and I'm like,
oh, let's just restart because now I can do 10 times the amount that I could do before.
And it's going to be like that forever now.
Can you hear that?
Yeah, yeah.
That's, that's Astra testing a bow and arrow.
Yeah, that was test.
So it's controlling the computer and it was just running.
The funny thing is I originally tried having Astra.
So here's the first thing I did.
I said, let's do it.
Let's do two, like pixel art game and we'll just animate the characters.
The problem was with like 20 different weapon.
I think no, I think there's a, there's, there's staves, there's daggers, swords and maces.
So there's four weapons.
Then there's 20 different armor pieces and like unique.
So the problem was the Astra tried making it so that it would render a bow and then have
the pixel art carry the bow.
It doesn't work.
Trying to sync that up was very difficult because it's a drawn frame, not a 3D character with
joints.
And so once it said it's going to start rendering 460,000 additional frames to animate literally
every character in every possible combination of weapon armor and action.
This means if a vampire is wearing a fedora with a sword and he's climbing a ladder, it has
to animate frames for that.
I said, well, hold on.
Let's just redo this thing in unity where we can take 3D models.
Right.
That's what we're going to worry about it.
And it was like, okay, yeah, let's do that instead.
So the funny thing is when it when it first tried doing 2D pixel art in unity, it was
like, here's what I'm going to do.
I'm going to animate each, each limb so that it can, we'll make our own 2.5D animation.
It was probably the most horrifyingly off putting animations I've ever seen.
Where like the head was too big and the arms moved like like train pistons and the legs
to and I'm like, that is not a human being walking.
That is a nightmare.
So I was like, I told it, no, no, just download some, we'll just buy animations and then
skin them.
So that's what it did so far, but it's funny.
I'm going to, I'm going to, I was a bunch of people who have requested to come in.
I'm going to prove someone at random, I guess.
And you can just, you can really say whatever you want.
I don't even care.
Hey, sounds good.
I'm just getting ready to go out for lunch with the girls.
I mean, you're still here.
I ain't taking you out.
Richard Barry asked first, I think.
So bring the boy up here.
You're in, I think.
I've never done a space on a desktop before.
So I have no idea.
And then Richard, Richard asked for approval and I have approved you to speak.
Awesome, bro.
I appreciate you having me up here.
Yes.
Yeah, I was just listening to you talk about the AGI is pretty much here.
And I think you, I think you're mostly correct because it's almost, it kind of seems
in the way the direction is going, kind of like the parable at curve of the technology
and the way it's going because I've been working on, so I've made video games in the past
with like RPG maker 2000.
I'm pretty sure it's until the age, you know what I'm saying?
Like, you know, I'm 40, I'll be 41 this year.
And the fact that you can just like put out like a description and just make a game.
I feel like it's partially here, but maybe like we're close.
I mean, I'm kind of like, I don't really know what we're at yet because so I've been
working on an anime where where like there's pretty much revelations in the Bible to make
Jesus look like, you know, he's Goku, he blessed back to hell and stuff like that.
And so, you know, and makes a little bit of fiction where, but historical accurately where
you know, Hitler comes back out of hell or Mal's dog and that kind of thing.
But the hardest part that I've been able to see is that or or in my situation is that
you know, like the storyboarding is extremely hard because if you just go with the flow of
whatever they have available, what on sedans, then it just makes it look really uncanny.
You know what I mean?
Right.
Yeah.
It's annoying too.
So I'm using sedans and it costs me for a high definition 30 second.
What I would say is just there's not even a point sometimes in going longer than five or
10 seconds when you're trying to make video because the longer you go, the more errors
you get in it.
But it's, it's, so I rendered it for this game I'm making.
I create, it cost me so far about $100 in tokens to see dance render the like the one minute
long opening scene because getting it perfectly to vision means three or four renders.
And then it's like 15 bucks per render.
Yeah, yeah, that's pretty well.
The kettle reminds me of I was like trying to do the, the, the, the honesty competition
with Grock that recently was on X and dude, I used all my tokens within like one hour
trying to render scenes and it just wasn't there yet.
Like I used all my tokens and everything like I didn't even give me, it gave me a couple
of good scenes, but I couldn't put them together to make them seem seamless.
You know what I mean?
Yeah, this is what's really annoying.
So I, I use Venice for a very obvious reason.
They sponsored us.
And that's like the easiest.
So I didn't bother looking for other companies that run these models.
I'm like, I got one already, you know, we work with them.
It allows you to grab the final frame of a video to start the next video, but it doesn't
keep the other elements.
So if there's multiple characters or their voices, but Venice does have a few models that
can do that like see dance RSV or whatever.
But getting it to seamlessly connect is actually, like you have to do that editing yourself.
Yeah, yeah, I feel like we're maybe like six months away from it being able to edit itself
in six months probably.
Or maybe less, I mean, hopefully because like at this point, like so, so you know, I've
been using like Capgood.
I used to use, you know, I used to use all different kind of, I used to use Adobe Premiere.
Like what like in, when I was in high school, but man, like you're just using that.
Like it's the, the models that are out now seem like it's going to outpace whatever you're
able to produce with Adobe Premiere because even Capgood uses see dance.
Like I was able to, the first time I used see it or the Capgood AI, I thought it was
actually connected to see this.
They're using other people's technologies.
And eventually I think it's going to kind of combine all into one at some point.
But then, but you know, my video game idea.
