I led the community at DASIBOL, my role coverage community growth, trader engagement and part,
part of our marketing strategy. So yeah, I work a lot on how we position DASIBOL and how we grow
the ecosystem around the product and how we turn user feedback into better campaigns and better
decisions. So thank you so much for inviting me today. Oh, thank you very much to both of you for
taking the time out of your busy days to come, share some some ideas and some thoughts with the
APTOS collective and the APTOS and DASIBOL communities. So we're all very glad to have you here.
So what we're going to do is we're going to ask some questions here and these questions were selected
from questions put forth by the signals, DASIBOL signals and they are some of the OG traders
in the DASIBOL community. And so these are questions from them. So we're going to go back and forth
and Sedol and Mattel will be answering five questions each. So we'll get started now with the first
question for Sedol. So DASIBOL as everyone knows here and some that may not be aware is an
APTOS labs incubated fully on chain central limit order book on APTOS matching settlement and risk
all run running on chain perps and spot our live including 24 seven equity ETFs index and commodity
markets. So the question is as DASIBOL grows in an increasingly competitive perps
deck market, what does the team see as DASIBOL strongest long-term differentiation and what do
you ultimately want DASIBOL to be known for? Yeah, no, this is a great question to kick us off and
you know, I think as you're kind of setting that question up, you kind of said a lot of it
on what we want DASIBOL to be known for. And so if I think about it, I would say we want
DASIBOL to be known for this fully on chain exchange for global markets across crypto, commodities,
equity perps spot where you can hold one account and where you can trade 24 seven. It's also a
place where you can have your capital work harder for you. And so kind of the breakdown is that
trading today is fragments it, right? And so crypto might live on one venue, equity somewhere else,
commodity somewhere else, and experience kind of changes depending on where you're trading it.
And so we're building DASIBOL around this different idea. One venue where traders can access
crypto, commodities, equity perps, ETF perps spots, and the markets are available around the clock.
The second piece is this capital is fidgety pieces. So a good example is that is we have DLP
escalator room. A trader can maintain, you know, their DLP exposure while using that position as
collateral for perp trading, which gives traders more flexibility with the same capital. And underneath
all of that is kind of what you said. The exchange is fully on chain. So the order book, the matching
the settlement are all verifiable. We don't want traders to have to take our word for what happened.
They can verify it, you know, themselves. And so the shorthand is for sure and answer is like,
you know, global markets better use a capital and execution you could verify. So I'll kind of
summarize it. Excellent. Excellent. Thank you very much for those details at all. Yeah, we love to see
the growth of decibel as it's becoming the basically fulfilling the optos vision of being the
global trading engine. So that has been great to see all the features and all the additions that
have gone on with decibel over the last several months. So this next question is going for Mateo.
So spot launched August 19th with BTC, USTC and APT, USTC yesterday, decibel launched spot F
Sol and XRP, which are now live as well. So the official materials frame spot us part of one account
with perps. You can hold the asset, hedge it, earn amps on spot flow and perps and spot share one
feet here. So the question is, with spot now live alongside perps, what opportunities does the team
see for spot within the broader decibel ecosystem? And how do you expect the product to evolve?
Yeah, thank you. Well, I think spot is important because the vision of decibel is much bigger than
just being a perps deck. The way I say it is, well, the goal is to make decibel more like a financial
hub where you can come in and have access to different markets and different ways to trade
all in one place. Curp or obviously great if you want leverage or you're a more active trader,
but sometimes you just want to buy an asset, hold it or build a position without using leverage.
You want to make your portfolio. So spot gives you that option. And I think that's where it starts
getting really interesting because over time you can imagine crypto, spots, perps, equities,
commodities, but maybe in spot we have that in perps. Well, yeah, maybe other markets and other
services all living inside the same platform. So instead of using five different apps,
decentralized apps for five different things, the idea is that you can do much more
your trading, directly on decibel. Excellent, excellent. Thank you very much for going through that
Mateo. This next question is for SADAL. So Am Season 1 scores organic activity, not raw volume,
DLP is a protocol native market making and liquidation backstop and DLP shares can be posted as
collateral at 90% credit. Users can now connect an EVM, Solana, Sway or AppTaus, Lobs, Wallet Petra,
or find from a connected sex and a positive USTC without a manual bridge. So question is what is
decibels top priority right now attracting more traders, improving liquidity and execution,
or strengthening long-term user retention? And how does the team measure success?
Yeah. So I wouldn't pick one to be honest, but I'll say this, execution quality is the found
data and then distribution is how we grow. And so retention tells us whether we're building something
that traders want. And so kind of bring that break that all down is that you can acquire all the
users you want, but if the liquidity and execution are poor, they won't stay. And so we know that.
And so execution quality is always going to be found data though. Most of the foundation is there,
distribution becomes the growth engine. And that is why we're investing heavily in builder codes,
affiliates, wallet integrations, partners that already have traders. We already have
1.1 billion in volume that's already routed through our builder codes as we announced about a
couple weeks ago, which is just the early signal that decibels does not have to acquire every trader
through our own front door. And ultimately retention is the scorecard. And so that's how we kind of
look at it is that we care about whether traders are coming back, whether they trade multiple markets,
whether partner integrations are continued, generating activity after day of announced.
So we're not optimizing for followers. We're optimizing for traders who find a reason to keep using
decibel. Excellent. Excellent. Thank you very much for going into those details there.
So for the next question, this one is for Mateo. So on September 11th, decibel listed,
Mawn, LDO, pump, morpho, Anna, and uni perps with a max leverage of five to 10 times.
The points, the amp points also give a market exploration bonus for thinner or more exotic pairs.
So the question is emerging tokens and meme coins can generate significant trading activity
very quickly. How does decibel think about identifying and listing these markets while maintaining
the standards it wants for the platform? Yeah. Well, I think the main thing is just giving trader
taxes to the markets they actually want. Meme coins are a big part of crypto. And when people are
running interested in a token, of course we want to pay attention to that and move fast.
But at the same time, we want to make sure the market works well, you know, works well on decibel.
So liquidity and pricing and execution are still very important. And I think later on when we have
a lot of more markets, the challenge will be choosing the best ones and making sure the overall
experience stays strong. So for me, it's really about having a lot of variety including meme coins,
but yes, still keeping the quality high. Thank you for answering that. Yeah, it makes the
makes total sense. And I really appreciate the care and discretion that the decibel team basically
utilizes when picking what assets to put on the platform. I mean, we see thousands of meme coins
launching every single day. And with decibel, it's actually about quality, not quantity. So that's
excellent to see. So for the next question here for Sadol. So for the most recent stats,
decibel has done 7.5 billion plus and volume over 29 million trades and less 75 plus markets
across Purge and Spot. And as you stated earlier, Sadol, 1 billion plus of decibel volume has come
through Belder codes as well. So the question is, with decibels trading volume continuing to grow,
what do you think will be the biggest driver of the next stage of growth?
I think distribution. I think the next phase of decibel growth comes from becoming the trading
engine behind products and communities that already have users. And so our own interface matters,
but it should not be the only way someone reaches decibel. You know, Belder codes let you know,
Wallace, Apps, bots, agents and other products route, you know, trading activity into decibels
will participate in the volume that they generate. And again, like you said, and like I said,
we've already seen more than a billion volume right up through Belder codes. And for example,
an integration like Trio shows that model where their users can access decibel markets from a product
that they already used. And so that's huge for us. And I think that will continue to be something
we can tap into more and more. And I think the second growth driver is market breadth, right?
Someone might come for BTC, but someone else may come because they want exposure to gold or oil
or in the video or an ETF part at the time when traditional markets are closed. And so,
you know, that is, you have to cater to that as well and make sure you are having the market breadth
out there to attract all different traders who are coming in from different places. And then
last y'all kind of say is this capital flexibility, you know, thing that we talk about. The more
trader could do from one account without constantly having to move capital between your products,
the more useful that venue becomes. And so that's what we're really trying to do there as well.
And so we just think that growth compounds through distribution, market breadth, better use of
their capital rather than relying on one big acquisition campaign, basically.
God, and thank you very much for that. Those details, so doll and yeah, I mean, it's excellent that,
of course, decibel fully on chain trading decks and has 75 plus markets. It really has something
for all kinds of traders to basically come and experience what AppTaus is all about with, you know,
the almost free gas fees and lighting fast execution. It's really great to see. So this next question
is for Mateo. So decibels public site on the roadmap for Q4 in 2020, 2026 and beyond lists,
things like token launch, broader, broader bridging, institutional integrations, RWA spot pairs,
and exploration of prediction markets. The launch thesis, of course, was a unified
on chain venue for much more than crypto purps as you both have already stated. So the question
is what does the successful version of decibel look like by late 2026 or 2027?
This is a good question. Well, for me, as I said, it's really about giving traders the best
experience possible. So yes, having good liquidity, competitive pace, more markets to trade,
another time more services inside the platform too. The idea is that people can do more and more
on decibel without having to jump between different apps all the time. I also think the social side
is really important because driving can feel pretty individual sometimes. So things like competitions,
leaderboards, community features, and just more waste for traders to interact and make the platform
like a lot more fun. So yeah, I love decibel to be a place where people come because they know
that trading experience is good. The markets are there, the fees make sense, and there's also
strong community around it. Basically, not just a place where you come to make a trade on lip,
but some traders actually want to stay and spend a lot of time.
Awesome. Awesome. Thank you very much for going through that. And yeah, I mean, a big shout out to
yourself, ghost, dev, boy, the entire decibel community, everyone that shows up every day to make sure
that decibel is a great place for people to come and experience community of traders.
