to the stage.
Okay guys, okay.
I can clearly see that you can hear me well.
Welcome to another space.
I'm Jules.
I will be a host for today, as always.
I'm always your host.
So today we are joined by the team behind FortuneFos.
A project bringing together a gamify, NFTs,
and real world assets on Robinhood chain.
By the way, by the way, FortuneFos
is getting ready for public launch tomorrow.
September 15th.
So we are super excited.
I want to see what's going to be next.
Let me invite to the stage, the founder of FortuneFos.
Okay, I just send an invite.
Okay, Puria.
I hope I pronounced correctly.
How are you doing today?
Yes, that was a lovely intro.
Thank you so much for having me.
Thanks for getting super exciting.
I don't launch.
We got less than 22 hours to go.
So yeah, here it's due a quick little AMI
to tell the legacy folks a little bit about what
we've been building.
No.
Crazy, 22 hours.
I hope you guys ready.
I guess it's been busy weeks, it's for you.
Incredibly busy week.
Just closing some last minutes, partnerships, et cetera.
And making sure everything is going smoothly.
But considering the readiness that we've had for our product
for quite some time, there has never been any stress there.
So we're kind of grateful for that.
Because if you guys don't know, FortuneFos has
been a project that has been in the works since 2022
to one extent or another.
So yeah, now we are seeing all of the stars come together
with just the pieces with GameFi and RWAs
and what's happening on Robinhood.
And you know, truly an electric market being back,
which I haven't seen since like 2021 in NFTs
to be quite frank.
To give you guys a little bit of an intro about me,
I was a massive DJN in 2021, 2022.
Was effectively minting everything during that period.
I $600 X, a small NFC portfolio, up to millions of dollars,
burnt a million dollar in gas bars.
And yeah, one of the key collections that I
parked again back in the day, which kind of entirely
changed my viewpoint on crypto was called Wolf Game.
I don't know how many of you guys were around at the time.
But that was the first example of some kind of a crazy game
fi happening in the space.
And I remember just being the number one
holder of that collection on the day
for there was a smart contract exploit
that was discovered that put all of the NFTs that were
state into the contract in a form of locked state.
And at that time, there were like 90% of the NFTs
that were locked up.
And I remember just looking at my multi six figures back
and being like, is this real life?
But then also when I dug into a deeper,
I'm like, this exact effect could be replicated by clever enough
game mechanics and tokenomics.
And those became the foundational layer for Fortune.
So to give you guys a little bit of a breakdown
into category of the product that we are,
Fortune for us is not a crypto gaming project.
And I recommend personally anybody who is here
stays away from the genre of gaming in general,
because it is a bit of a delusional category.
But Fortune for us at a score, it's
built with a very degen centric foundation.
Meaning we embrace crypto for the hyperfinationalized
industry that it is.
And we are very aligned when it comes to the motives.
Because I was a massive degen and a flipper myself.
I was number the type to expect people to hold on to an IP
collection for years to come because they were going to
become the next marvel or Disney or on board the next
thousands of people.
It was always like if you are building for the people who are
here now, who are embracing crypto for the hyperfinationalized
industry that it is, then you're doing a great job.
That means you know who you're building for.
And when it came to Fortune for us, I was the target audience.
So I built this product for me and who I was was a massive
degen and a flipper who deemed utility as the floor price
going on.
Thank you.
Thank you so much.
Actually, this is all questions I had for the beginning.
But yeah, could you please explain why bears versus bulls?
I saw on the website, but I assume it's not just about
characters, right?
Yeah.
So bears versus bulls is the underlying theme of what we see
across all finance, right?
And the way that that translates into our universe is going
to come down to market sensitive gameplay.
Means different games that outcome is going to be directly
tied to market movements at the time.
And depending on whether it goes up or down or those
in favors of bears or bulls, it changes the macro thesis
in general.
And considering we have a few different games that
are going to be playable.
Yeah, there is going to be very delicate balancing.
And for people who read into our documents and actually
try to put together the game theory pieces,
you're going to see how much arbitrage opportunity
that's going to create, especially if you're
like trying to iterate it, et cetera, even aside from the games
that we have.
Puri, I have a question.
So how much of the outcome depends actually on skills
and strategy and how much depends
on what actually happens in the market?
It is going to be your skill on determining
how the market outcomes are going to come about, right?
So it is in some ways predictions,
but it is not going to be entirely based on that
because it is not going to be like do or die.
But this is high stakes game five.
So a good chunk of it is going to come down to your skill
and the different games.
And the first one that we have, or game number one,
is called thattle, which is going to be available right
after mint, which is going to include the core loop.
That one is going to be the most directly tied to market events.
Then the second one is going to be after around 7 to 14 days,
depending on how we decide we want to roll that out.
That one is going to be more of a social dynamic
display, right?
Meaning it is going to be the factions of bears versus the bulls.
And considering that these are two separate collections,
the holders of each of them can actually strategize together,
especially depending on, let's say, the number of lockups
that has happened from the game battle, right?
And decide what the best strategy is going to be
when it comes to conquering these RWA islands.
And then the third one that is going to be dual,
it is a very dejan-esque game that is going
to be entirely dependent on market outcomes,
which is effectively your weight-euring RWA
is on the price of Robin Hood stock going up or down
within a minute.
So super dejan that last one.
Got it.
Interesting.
So what should we expect tomorrow exactly?
So tomorrow is when our auction is going to be going live
for bulls.
As I mentioned, we have two different collections,
which are bears and the bulls.
The total supply of the entirety of the collections
together is 9,000.
Tomorrow is going to be the sale for the 3,000 bulls
going live.
Within 48 hours of that, it's going
to be the Dutch auction for the 3,000 bears going live.
And then 3,000 NFTs are going to be reserved for market place
minting that players can mint using their endgame rewards.
OK, got it.
And let's talk more about the NFTs itself.
You guys have different character states,
like Nubis, fighters, et cetera.
Can you explain that life cycle?
Yeah, great question.
Each character, whether it's bearable in the universe
of force and force, can go through four different states.
And the core one and the most important one
is going to be the fighter NFTs.
These are going to be the unlocked NFTs
that can participate in the games on hand.
While the other three states, you have Nubis, Jell,
and martyrs.
For Nubis, it is going to be the locked NFTs.
So they're like the entry level NFTs.
They're going to be locked while it,
and they're going to require training by fighter NFTs
in order to transform into a fighter and be unlocked.
And the NFTs that participate in the games
and are unsuccessful in their missions,
they're going to get Jell.
And Jell is also a locked state.
And again, both of these locked states
are going to require to purchase fighter NFTs
in order to be able to unlock their NFTs.
And a Jell NFT, if they are not unlocked or rescued
within 14 days, they're going to be martyred
and locked your wallet forever.
Wow, this is interesting mechanics.
So you have mentioned that Nubis NFTs will be locked.
What player actually need to do to turn a Nubi
into an active character?
I know you have mentioned they need to purchase a fighter,
but is there any scenario they can do?
Yeah, so to give you guys a little bit of a further breakdown
of how people are going to be getting
Nubis versus fighter in the auction.
And then I'll jump into the questions that you asked.
Also, for tomorrow, the auction is going to be
that the top 50% of the bidders are going to receive
fighter NFTs and the bottom 50% are going
to be receiving Nubian NFTs.
And in order for a Nubi to be unlocked,
they require to be trained with a fighter NFT
for 48 hours, which is basically them being
staked together for 48 hours.
And also for the people who get Nubian NFTs
and are in the bottom 50% of the auction,
if they hold two and above, they're
going to be air dropped enough gold after around 30 days
to be able to buy a trainer pack and unlock one
of their Nubis immediately.
We're also going to add some kind of a co-op social layers
of that.
So let's say if somebody gets one Nubi,
they're eventually able to unlock there.
And the flywheel that that creates
is just the Nubis at the bottom are going to require
to buy fighters on day one if they want to unlock it.
30-day wait.
And also, out of the fighter NFTs, the unlocked NFTs,
we expect more than 90% of them to be
staked into our games on day one.
Meaning that leaves less than 10% of the supply
being unlocked on secondary markets on day one.
And from the NFTs that are locked inside of the missions,
we expect a percentage of them to get jailed and locked
and also require fighter NFTs, which
means a large percent of the supply just from our day one
holders is going to be driving further and further value
into the floor price.
So now, if you throw in the speculation money on top of it
and less say the floor price going up
and remaining 3,000 NFTs that are
minted by players becoming more and more desirable,
it is just an absolute flywheel effect that we expect
or to create the same effect as Wolfgame did back in the day.
Interesting.
Just out of curiosity, can players actually permanently
lose something through the game?
Like what's the worst thing that can happen to the character?
The worst thing that can happen to a character
is having a character that gets jailed inside of,
from one of their game missions,
and they're not rescued within 14 days.
Then you can lose that character forever.
So it is very important to keep in mind
that you're going to probably need multiple fighters
in order to be able to play the game optimally.
Because let's say if you only have one fighter
and you send it into a battle mission,
and it gets locked away and you do not have any way
to get your NFT out of that mission,
that is a permanent loss.
So you are going to be needing more than one
in order to be able to play the game optimally.
I see.
I see.
So it really depends on the timing
and you guys have to hurry up not to lose something in the game.
You got it.
And let's talk about the Robinhood chain.
Simple question.
Why Robinhood?
Well, we believe Robinhood was the only thing
that brought genuine excitement to the market
after quite some time.
If you were to look at the way that every chain functions,
every chain is only as good as the apps that are published on.
And if we were to go back with abstract,
and project penguins, and Luca, and what happened there,
most of the projects that we saw were consumer projects,
IP projects, and like cute game of five projects.
But what happened with Robinhood,
considering that Vlad is one of the, I guess, people
in the financial frontiers of the world.
And he's always pushing the boundaries there.
And just the concept of Robinhood being, like,
taking from the rich and giving to the poor, et cetera,
the foundation of the products that were being released
on Robinhood followed that exact formula, right?
Where they were actually breaking boundaries.
Where they were, you know, distributing value
to holders, et cetera.
Where previously all we were seeing from NFTs were,
well, not too, just get talk.
But a lot of like fluffy IPs and things
that genuinely didn't inspire any kind of excitement
within the people who were partaking.
We didn't see any kind of innovation
for the longest, longest times.
And of course, the risk on money had left
for, let's say, prediction markets and AI stocks
and precious metals for quite some time.
But there was nothing to actually be
excited about in crypto.
So Robinhood kind of inspired that innovation again,
which is why we're seeing so many projects coming out
with cool mechanics again, for to pose being one.
Got it, got it.
What was it specifically?
Oh, by the way, guys, are you getting any support
from Robinhood chain?
Robinhood chain unfortunately has not shown any support
to any of the projects that are launching there,
aside from cash cat as of now, or perhaps maybe
like the projects who are already proven to be
at the very top.
But we have spoken previously, like in the year 2024
with Adam Fern, which is the head of product
at Robinhood chain, who saw the project
and he really liked the graphics, et cetera.
But no, no projects, it is.
