But anyway, I feel like a girl saying that With guys that's usually easier But it's just, I don't know It's just different going to, like, you just don't even care I'll throw on whatever and I'll show up It's me You know what I'm saying? So if I show up, like I did today Like we were driving around, I don't know how much you all know this I told Mike and Lamb But the guy who basically raised me He's not my biological father Had nothing to do with my mom or anything like that We live in the Bible belt when I was younger He had a son about my age And I started staying at their house a lot So as I got older, my dad was an alcoholic So I leaned on him more than anybody else As far as a male father figure goes So to me, like, he is my dad I have my father, but it is what it is with him But anyway, he purchased a house on the lake Three houses down for me two days ago I'm no, no, we are not 100 We're not fist bumpin' No, we do not want this This is why I have what I have Is to get away from people And now the people are coming to, no, no But anyway So he was over here today And he was wanting to like drive around And like see stuff and this and that So that's what I've been doing all day Like showing him around, showing the side roads And all this stuff And I had a point to this And I lost it What were we talking about? I had a point where I was gonna bring home With everything with DDNYC But long story short, yeah I've been with him all day He wanna see these back roads and do this And do that And let's go this direction I'm like, dude, I got spaces Like, you know, then he's like, do you wanna go to the beach? The last week in August Because I got a time share that runs out I'm like, I've got New York You know what I mean? You've got New York I was like, I've told you about this before I'm going to New York And like, they just don't get it But it's just having people around that support you I think is good But I know he's like moving over here Because I'm over here So I just about me It's the view, it's the lake But I'd doubt if I had been here He would be over here as well So, you know, just being able to have that support Have people to lean on And that's kind of what we have Happening here in DDNYC On our, you know, online venture And taking this into web too as well And just having people you can count on That doesn't always mean that they're blood That was my point to this Because, you know, I do have my father He passed away, you know, a while back And it wasn't like I was upset Because of what opportunities I miss But not because of like if him being gone Like I felt bad about our relationship and whatnot So, my point with all this is Like just take this time to like network with people Build these bonds and just strengthen things Because families not always blood That's the point Like to me, that's my dad And if I needed anything Like if I was on the side of the road Or whatever If I called him, he may not be able to help me But he would make sure I had help Does that make sense? Like if it's something out of his room And I just feel like as we continue to move forward in this community And do these RL events It's very important for all of us to, you know, show up And whatnot And I'm just getting freaked out now Because Russi is down in listener I just saw that So somebody has my PFP And the name's Russi now They were lamey And I was trying to be serious for a minute To kind of bring this in to DDNYC And I even got my point back Now I can't even go down the shrub of a hole But anyway, all I'm saying is Make sure you're locked in for DDNYC And do your best to network And the mistakes I made last time Was I didn't network as much as I should have I didn't go around and talk to more people That I should have talked to I kind of clicked up a bit And that's not a bad thing I mean, I had a lot of fun with everybody that I clicked up with But I do feel like you got to kind of split your time up Go meet people maybe You've not talked to before or people that you do vibe with But you don't feel comfortable maybe because You've already hung out with Russ, LAM, and Mac, and Feifey, and Fire So it's easier to go back to those people When maybe I need to go hang out with Hofer's for a couple hours Unfortunately, maybe I need to go hang out with it You know what I'm saying like that type of stuff Fire, go ahead So I was just gonna say I think part of that was because We didn't say in the same hotel So that was mistake number one But I was just gonna agree with you and just kind of point out that You know, even even now here on spaces But obviously even more importantly, IRL And getting together at events is important But just thinking about like you were saying Like family isn't always just blood number one But number two, you have no idea what the person next to you And even next to you on this screen has to offer you You know, like what you can benefit from them What knowledge you can gain from them What resources you can gain And what resources you can provide And the only way that you start to learn those things Is by networking You know and by talking talking about You know what you're building What you're doing getting together Like example as Devon was talking last night And him and order are working on this thing together How would they have ended up connecting If they didn't decide to communicate and talk And find out about what each other specialty is You know what I mean? So you just you really have no idea And I think for me One thing that's been really heartwarming And surprising is how much we actually do connect Like I feel like a lot of you guys here are truly my friends Like I call you my friends And I feel like if something, you know, were to come up In any facet that you would be able to potentially help me with That you would 100% do it And you know you just can't have enough of that And you can't, you know, it's nice to be able to be that for somebody too You have no idea what you have to offer You might think that you know you don't have anything to offer You're just you But really you being you Is something that somebody else isn't doing You know, so just get out there You guys are network and like I said, bump in L Well, IRL is even better And like Russ said, you know maybe don't click up so much And just kind of get out of your own echo chamber So you can see those opportunities No, 100% And I also think that like D-D-L has helped this a lot as well Because like Devon I knew, I kind of talked to him But with this like testing stuff And then Jag and Hovers And just playing this game It kind of forces you to interact with other people You may not interact with Like I was playing with Kush the other day And then I scat Which I talked to scat a little bit because of sports And we have that, you know Bond there with sports But after playing that it's like me and scat Kind of started to talk it had more And it's just there's there's so much here That can be offered with networking That I feel like we got to take advantage of it And I'm sorry And I did not take full advantage of that In Las Vegas And I just feel like, you know Like to me like the people that I'm tight with on this app I mean they're like family to me Like if Lam or Mac or you know Fire or Fifi were to come to Kentucky I wouldn't have an issue like housing them You know what I'm saying them and they're like Wives or their kids or anything like that Like I wouldn't think twice about it You know which before in the past You know I'm maybe like I don't want them people at my house You know what I'm saying like why don't I mean It's from spaces I don't want you know what I'm saying like I don't know but I just feel like we can We can do so much and the The other evening I think it was last night Bart dropped a sub post if you're subscribed to Bart You saw that flow chart of arrows pointing in a direction Even though our community is not the largest out there Or we're not the biggest you know NFT project out there yet You know if you're moving in this
