Commentators criticize a smoking Christian streamer’s “grape debate” stance, dismissing his rhetoric as manipulative and unimpressive despite some debate skill. - They accuse him of “larping” as a Christian and using faith for personal gain, clout, and manipulation. - They mock his chain-smoking on camera, saying it destroys his intellectual and moral authority, especially after age 40. - One speaker notes he might have been using a rhetorical trick—defending a position he disagrees with to “turn the tables” on his opponent. - They acknowledge that skilled debaters can argue any side, but argue he only wins against emotionally charged, less intellectual opponents. - They cite two lesbians who “completely annihilated” him, which shaped their negative impression. - The real key to debating, they say, is staying calm, listening for fallacies, and not getting emotional. - They still reserve judgment, saying “We’ll see how it goes” and admit they haven’t watched much of his content. Conclusion: Don’t judge a debater by one clip—but if you want real authority, drop the cigarettes and stay calm under fire.

I think that good. I'm just saying that he says he's a Christian, but what Christian could possibly take that position? I mean, I honestly, there's all kinds of Christians. I wouldn't mind to say if people are or not Christian, but it's just not a very Christian value. There's a lot of larping going on here. There's a lot of blasphemous invoking of Christianity for personal gain and clout and perception, right? And manipulation. Who's this? All right, whatever. We'll see. We'll see how it goes. We'll see how it goes. Yeah, I didn't know that he took that position. How long ago was that? I'm not sure, but the background had the same. It was the same background as the Pekal Jarr. Is that his studio? I have no idea, probably. I've never watched him at all. I've seen clips going around that I've clipped, but I've never watched him. I wouldn't watch him. He's trash. I couldn't sit there and watch somebody. Listen, if you're over 40 and you're still smoking cigarettes and you're trying to have some kind of intellectual authority or moral authority, I'm not taking you seriously. I'm just not. Not in 2026. If you're sitting there smoking cigarettes in front of everybody. If you're sneaking one, OK, I might have a little bit more understanding for you if you're sneaking one, because you can't quit. But when you're sitting there, chain smoking, like a fucking 75-year-old woman who is outside this, and you're like, yeah, I'm going to get Candice Ellen's. I'm going to get all of you. Right? If you're doing that, shit, I have zero respect for you. Zero. I totally agree. It's so trashy to... I haven't watched very much of him either, but I've seen a few clips come across in the last week. And just seeing the stream of smoke in between him and the camera, it's like, I don't know, like it's just gross. She did the right thing by making him... You ain't smoking around me, bro. I ain't happening. I wouldn't let him smoke around me either. I don't know. Ocaro, what's up? Is he on stage? I see like a clear Ocaro? Can anybody hear me? Yeah, I can see him on stage, but... I'm on bad service. He's like blacked out. I don't know, I dropped you down. Request to speak. What's up, true seeker? Hey, diligent. I just wanted to say, I saw that same clip of the whole grape debate with him. And I wanted to go back and find the larger clip because one of the commenters said that what he was doing in that brief clip was turning the... Oh shoot, not gonna be able to find the right words. Turning the tables on whoever he was debating against and trying to take their position in order to prove the other guy wrong. Does that make sense? Still manning. Yes, yes. So I don't know what the other guy says. Yeah, so that's a rhetorical strategy and debate. And it is... So he may... I mean, I wouldn't do it personally on that one, but if you're... Not with that subject. If you're declaring... But if you're... If you're absolutely horrific. If you're declaring that... That you are still manning and you're just doing it just to pass your debate skills, I can see why... Like I'm just being objective, right? Because a really good debater can defend a position that he does not agree with well, right? Right. And I think that's what he was doing. It's easier to go find the longer clip. It's easier to defend a position that you are very acquainted with, that you care about, that you read about all the time and you studied up on, right? Something that you're passionate about is easy to defend. It's much more difficult to defend something that you don't have a lot of knowledge about. I debated hit slap about IQ once, and I don't know anything about IQ, but I debated it in many ways. And it went well, like it was a good debate, and I have never read about that subject forever. It was just very general knowledge. It was more about rhetorical strategy, right? Right. And I think that's where... Wherein lies... You know, I have heard people give him respect in this regard about rhetorical strategy, but from what I have seen, I have not seen any like really strong rhetorical strategy. The only times I've ever seen him really do well against somebody, when it was against somebody else who wasn't really intellectual, right? They were more emotionally charged. I watched a lesbian just completely annihilate him, a two of them, actually, and I was like, oh, okay. So I'm not impressed. Maybe he is... And again, I didn't go watch a lot of his stuff, debates. I just watched a couple of clips, but maybe he's a skilled orator. Maybe he has good rhetorical strategy. Almost anybody can do that if they can... If they have calm nerves where they don't get worked up easily, because that's the number one killer of a argument is emotional, being emotional. And so if you can keep calm the whole time, keep your cool, and draw without stuttering, and don't lose your place in you, you listen intently so that you can pick up on fallacies in the argument of your opponent, right? These are things that you need to have a level and cool calm at about your... You need your wits about you to do this, right? Yeah, and I haven't seen a ton of his debates either because, to be honest, I can't stand to listen to him talk. I don't know how I'm going to get through this debate for a while, because the way he drives me absolutely... Oh, he is like a scummy fucking... Just... He is gross, dude. That guy definitely probably has had, like... I could just see him. He's got an ash tray next to his bed that is overflowing with fucking cigarette butts, right? All kinds of shit piled on it, likely. Right? He has probably pissed jars in the corner of the room, right? This is the kind of guy I think we're observing here. If I had to guess... I mean, that's the vibe that I get. Hey, can I just jump in? Sure, that's a great point. Go ahead. Can you guys hear me? No. I have watched hours on hours on hours on hours of the whatever podcast, because I have ADHD and I stay up late at night, and that's what I do. I just watch podcasts all, and I went through a phase of watching the whatever podcast and exclusively, obviously, the ones with the most views on it, which tend to be him. And... Like, if you were to go on those podcasts are probably like eight hours long, and it's the same exact fucking... Can you swear on here? You can say whatever you want. Okay, it is the same exact fucking thing every single time. Like, when you went... A lot of you guys are new to him, and I don't know if you picked up on those small little, you know, freezes that he likes it. Yeah, so... So, let me talk for a second, or, you know, like, don't talk over me, or... Like all those different things, it's all the same. And I was talking about it with my dad. This is all just for a popularity thing, honestly, what I think, because he wasn't getting that much traction when he was on the whatever podcast, because he was the same thing. Every single time people started to get bored, and he only has the same listeners, so we needed to get out there, and TPU said it was the one way for him to do that, and it's just a popularity stunt for him. He's just trying to get more because he's probably broke a shit now. I think that, in my opinion, I think it's highly likely that the... The Gives & Go is cover for TPU essay, or donors, right? To cover for his donors. It's been my first thought, I was like, because he... You don't make that kind of... Wait, are you saying to your donors? If you could... Hold on, if you could... Let me finish, let me finish. Sure, sure, sure. Yeah, you don't make that kind of challenge, and then not immediately be able to back it up on that level, because your reputation, your credibility is... If you could just mute while I'm speaking, there's a lot of background noise. Oh my gosh, I'm sorry, hold on. That's okay, yeah. It's down in the bottom left corner. There you go. So, it is... I find it, in my opinion, I don't know this first effect, but I find it likely that he had donors propping up the money. That's why he got on Joe Rogan, right? That's because there's no bigger platform to issue a challenge on and make her look bad, right? There's no... That's it. The only other bigger platform would be Tucker, right? And I don't... Tucker's not gonna let him do that. Maybe he would. But it was definitely... It was definitely astroturfed, right? He was astroturfed to issue that challenge. I don't think he would go on Joe Rogan and issue that challenge without the money to back it up. He is. I do find him to be a grease ball, but he's not stupid, stupid, right? I don't... Intellectually, I don't think he's up to par... I don't think he's up to par on myself from what I've seen. And I... He tried coming at me on the timeline in his attacks when I was covering Penguins which his attacks were very weak intellectually, right? I didn't even waste any time with him. If I think that it is like a meaningful... Like if I could have some impact because it's sharp, then I sometimes I'll respond to them, right? But I didn't find any of the stuff that he was putting out like any kind of threatening or even provocative, really. Like it didn't intrigue me at all. And if you're not intriguing me and I think it's boring, then I'm not trying to be sound like pompous or anything, but I'm going to think that you're kind of dead, right? If you're coming at me, you're trying to challenge me and I find you to be boring. And I'm like, oh my God, this is all you got. You're supposed to be some... Some, you know, PhD... Debate strategists and this is what you got? Okay, I'm good. So yeah, I just... I am... I'm not impressed. I'm not impressed with the guy. And like you said, where did you go, Danny? Yeah, I'm so thrilled. I'm sorry. If you are debating the same people over and over, if it's the same, it's like playing a video game, right? If you play sit there and you play... You might suck at Mario Brothers. But if you play Mario Brothers for eight hours a day, for three years straight, you are going to be a fucking pro at Mario Brothers. But if somebody throws another game at you that you've never played before, you're going to suck ass. And that's kind of like what you're describing. No, can I go now? Are you good? Awesome, thank you. Also, I do enjoy watching a lot of you... Or listening to a lot of your stuff. I just wanted to say that. You know, give credit words to. But it's just very... I remember when... Because I have been a big Charlie fan for... I don't know, he got me into politics. Everyone says that. And honestly, it's true for a lot of people. And I had watched... Whatever, because it was just, you know, that like reality TV kind of style in the background and you hear shit and you're like, wait, what is going on? Let me replay that because it was always that dynamic when I was listening to them. And it never seems like legitimate and real. And I used to listen to that. And then I'd have my other, you know, thing which would be politics. And they're... It's like salt and pepper. It's like day and night, two different things. And once I saw him come into this realm, I was like, something does not seem right because this is not the kind of person that would... Especially being Charlie's company. It just made no sense to me. And I also wanted to mention, I don't know how many of you guys were listening to Vahala and all them do their stream tonight. His daughter is a lesbian, which is pretty ironic. And don't hold me on this, but this is what they were saying. I don't like talking about people's kids. I know. I'm sorry. No, I'm sorry. I don't allow it. No, we're not doing that. Well, let's go on. If anyone wants to hear it go on to there, because it was pretty interesting and it's kind of damning to hear him say what he said. So... Yeah, I'm sorry. You're better than... You're better than... It's just a policy. I don't know. I really talk about people's... You don't talk about people's kids. It's good to get checked if I need to get checked for it. Yeah. Yeah, I don't agree with bringing people's family members, especially kids, into these discussions. Right. And so, yeah. I wouldn't want anybody doing anything to me and I don't want to tell anybody else either. No, I'm sure. I get it. Respect. Yeah. He's just... Again, I'm glad that you've watched him for a long time, because I'm not... Like, what would you say his strongest attacks are when it comes to debate? Testing your logic. He wants to test your logic, because if it's not the exact...
