Yeah, man, I see you buying.
Like I'm kind of the opposite right now.
And then like, I think I have like 84 packs,
like three boxes, 14 from the drop,
two promo cards that I haven't opened,
two BMW cards that we got at the venue.
Like I have an open shit, man,
and I'm dying to be honest,
but like I'm kind of patiently waiting
for all the information that come out
for the whole process on sort of,
I guess digitizing my packs,
just that whole vaulting process.
Like I kind of want all the info out there.
So I can just lay it all out on my desk
and I can be like, okay,
here's the pros, here's the cons to doing this.
So I'm kind of just patiently biting my time,
sitting back, watching everyone open kind of enviously,
but also just I just want to see just the, you know,
because I mean, dude, like again, we can get into it,
but if you're someone that just holds boxes
and you know this set one is gonna appreciate
and value over time unsealed,
because those grails are in there,
those chase cards are in there.
Why not vault it?
Why not get those a coin reflections?
Why not earn with your vaulting,
with your sort of RWAing, if that isn't,
if that isn't verb, like, you know,
if you're gonna sit on these things
and you're leaving on sealed and appreciate value,
you know, send them in, get them as NFTs
and just let them earn that reflection over time,
because I think that could be a significant amount
over a long period of time.
So yeah, I'm just kind of sitting and waiting
and I just want to see everything kind of like, you know,
presented over the next couple of weeks.
Yeah, like we're at that dude
and you know, as everybody knows,
like the Bordeops got 10 packs, AirDroped,
or we're able to claim 10 packs and Mutants,
we're able to claim two packs,
so I claim my two packs and I kind of got,
you're the same state of mind as you do,
like I'm not opening them.
Something that I learned, you know,
playing magic throughout the years,
it's a very expensive hobby,
at least magic to gathering is,
especially if you want to build a competitive deck.
So it's, you save a lot more money buying singles,
if you're collecting or building a deck
then you would like trying to buy packs
and hopefully open like the cards you need.
So I, you know, I don't know how to play
Mudwater yet, I look forward to learning a little bit
on how that mechanics work,
but something I've been doing dude,
is like, rare's, rare's are like five bucks dude,
like for most of them, I just decided to pick them up.
Pretty cheap.
So I got the full set of rare's,
I got the full set of uncommon's and,
you know, those legendaries and those procedures
are gonna be, I guess, cards that I look after,
you know, throughout the next 10 years are trade for,
and collect and ultimately I'd like to complete
the full base set and,
and plaque it put it on my wall, you know what I mean?
Oh yeah dude, that would be,
that would be so sick.
But yes, yes, I see your comments on your days,
yes you're right, if I do have the grail in here
in one of these boxes, and I send those boxes,
you know, the boxes are kind of like,
they're kind of fungibles, like, you know,
you send a box A in,
and you won't necessarily get box A back,
you'll get box like Z or something,
and if you had that grail in the box you sent in,
you will get a box back that is like 99.9%,
not the box you sent in,
so you may be deprived of a grail.
But ignorance is bliss, and I'm prepared to play those odds,
but yeah, but yeah, let's get into eight fest a little bit,
talk about the experience there,
you know, start bringing some people up
and get into mud water, see who's new out there.
Yeah, however you wanna run it,
well I'm just here chilling, man.
Yeah, I will say though, having it at the factory,
I don't know what you wanna call it,
that could mean that you have every rare.
If you think of it that way,
because you could get the box with any,
you know, it's not just the box,
it could be any box with any rare, any legendary,
so that kind of makes it even more of a mystery.
But yeah, I mean, we got some new folks
that have already joined us up here,
I think maybe we'll just pass the mic along
and we'll jump in the eight fest kind of back and forth,
but the first person that jumped up here,
and I believe we just got back up as J.P.Z.,
so I wanna say what's up to J.P.Z.,
happy welcome Wednesday, and how's it going?
Yo, yo, yo, happy welcome Wednesday guys.
You feel me GM, GM, GM, GM, GM,
you know, I'm at the airport right now
on my way back home from A first,
spend seven days out there,
that broke, it was, it was fantastic, bro,
it was a hell of an experience.
I fucking, I came home with at least over $1,000 of merch,
fucking, I came home with like a bunch of like two boxes,
one sign by people, so those are worth at least
a couple grand or something,
just something I got like a bunch of posters and shit,
fucking, I bought like some April merch,
like the events were just spectacular, bro, for real,
probably one of my favorite events was like Muddies
or fucking everyone, you got to see everybody,
you got to meet everybody, it was like a whole movie out there
like on the dock, the weather was like chill,
you know, it was like free drinks the whole time,
and then you got to like see Curtis right there
and post a get up bunch of like photos and shit,
shout out to my boy Cram down there, bro,
you know, he was chilling over there, bro,
and everybody like, if that was like, if that was so dope,
you know, I like, I people studio, you know, fucking,
they had like the burgers outside,
they had like a bar in every corner,
they had like a fucking, the ring and shit, bro,
I thought the ring was cool, I like,
I like, I like Offset's performance way more,
Offset's performance was dope as fuck,
and bro, yeah, bro, it was amazing, you know,
I think one of the best like the highlights of my trip
wasn't really like none of the events, right?
It was more just like being able to network and connect
with every individual, like from the jump,
I was just running around to every person
and trying to like, like get their Twitter, you phone me
and like, bro, I feel like this,
what you have to do especially if you're like a new ape,
you gotta make the connections.
So you know, bro, like every ape is good at something,
every ape has like a life outside of crypto.
So we all have like our own niche and shit
and what we do, one guy makes rugs, you know,
like not the, not the, not the crypto rugs,
like the, you know, the rugs that I actually like,
because step on and shit coasters, you know,
another guy's a lawyer, you know,
another guy makes it fucking, you know,
hats and fucking shirts, you know, like another guy's just like,
you know, and real estate or something.
And there's something to learn from everybody.
So it was my duty to try to learn, like, you know,
get as many, put as many names to faces
to the, to the age as possible.
And that was actually like my highlight,
like those were my highlights, like talking to the people,
you know, trying to fucking at ape fest,
I try to talk to as many people as possible before ape fest,
because I'm feeling that when I was there,
I just wasn't going to try to talk to as many people
because I was going to be having fun,
which is exactly what was happening.
You found me like, so the shout outs to all the apes
that pulled up bro, shout outs to all the apes
that made that shit happen, you know,
like shout outs to rock soul and swiggy for being like the side,
the side painters there and, you know,
throwing up some del bass are shout outs to people
for, you know, allowing us to, you know,
being a studio and his humble about,
and you know, like apes run that shit bro.
So shout outs to the apes, what much love, bro.
Let's go.
Do you, was this your first apes?
This was my first apes.
Yeah, dude, it was, it was awesome.
I think we met.
We talked at first, that very first night
at the bowling alley, which was like my first event on Thursday.
And like, that was just crazy,
because I had just landed maybe like an hour before
and then I was like, all right, I'm going to go,
I don't have tickets.
It doesn't matter.
I'm going to show up.
And like I really didn't know what to expect from this eight fest
or that event.
And like when I walked in,
the place was already taken over by apes.
Like I was absolutely fucking shocked.
I walked in and I was like, damn,
everyone is here already.
Everyone's drinking beers, everyone's eating,
everyone's talking, you know, everyone's got like,
like they're fucking stickers, they're tags, like everyone was already,
like deep, deep in apes mode, like that first event.
And I just like, that was the moment I knew like,
you know, this apes is going to go super hard.
And I had to get in that mode because, you know,
it's intense, like rotating from conversation to conversation.
I had to like, I don't, I don't talk a lot
in my normal day to day.
Like I work like pretty much alone, like 50, 60% of the time.
And I just had to like switch gears
into that mode of just like, okay, I'm gonna,
I'm gonna make my rounds,
I'm gonna make conversation with everybody.
And yeah, J.P.Z. was one of those.
Gowt, super, super vibrant energy.
Had the one of one mutant hat on, dude,
I hope you enjoy that one of one status.
While it lasts, I have a feeling that head is coming.
But yeah, dude, it was super good vibes there.
And yeah, it was really cool to meet you, Matt.
I have a feeling you are not gonna miss
an AFS going forward.
No, no, no, I will not.
If I do, there was definitely a try to be in my life
that I would couldn't happen to what's in.
But yeah, I know if I didn't meet you, you foamy.
If I did meet you, it was absolutely a pleasure.
If I didn't, we're definitely gonna catch you
in the next events.
And much love, bro, shout out to the apes, bro.
We really took that fucking city over.
There's no way that they're not gonna remember
who the fuck we were.
So shout out to the apes, bro.
Yo, GPs, you thanks for coming up and sharing your AFS story, dude.
So glad you got to go.
And from my point of view, I was just hanging out
at home working.
And we got a lot of a lot of new club members
that have joined over throughout the week
that whether they saw it on the timeline
or just felt the urge to finally pick up an ape.
Lots of new club members.
And we got a few up here with us today.
I wanna say what's up to a few of them.
We have sunny days.
I think that's how I think I'm saying your name
correctly, sunny days.
That is correct.
It's going.
I'm still tired.
I did like all the events, they're almost all them.
But I found the doing the events is actually how I got to speak
to more people.
And then ape fast, like you didn't get to talk as much
to the people or connect.
I also thought it was funny at ape fast,
all the normal people that were maybe people's guests were coming
and they were looking at the stickers
and they're like, what are these?
Are we allowed to have some?
And I'm like, yeah, like you take some, leave some.
And all the stickers and stuff, I got so many
from a lot of you down below.
Like it's amazing having all those as like keepsakes
for the event.
I know I made stickers, pins and some prints
of one of our apes in the club's business.
So I gave some of those out, but I also made the volleyball
and one of our ape gals won that from the girls clubhouse,
Zippy.
So I have to ship that to her because she was so busy,
I guess, at all the events and I couldn't find her ever.
But yeah, everybody wanted that ball too,
but I know Dupes was trying to get me to make like 50 of them.
And I'm like, there's no way I can draw 50 balls.
Roxel was supposed to do a bunch.
And I was like, it's a lot of work doing that,
especially at an event.
Props to anybody that put on event.
Like everything went so well, ape games, the board labowski,
the waffle house, like every event was on point
and everybody helped.
So even they had people that prepared to help,
but all the other apes came in and helped.
So it was like really cool to see that.
So two days congrats on the ape.
So did you go to this thinking like,
yo, I'm kind of on the fence, I'm kind of on the fence
about buying an ape.
Let's see how this, let's see how ape fest is,
how it kind of resonates with you.
And like was that kind of the state of mind you were in
when you decided to come through for ape fest?
Like I'm just super interested in that journey.
You took that kind of convince you like,
yo, I wanna have my own ape, I wanna be a part of this.
Yeah, so when we heard about ape fast coming
and seeing all the promo, the collectors collect,
my husband, the opportunist was like,
he couldn't go, but he's like, you have to go
because there's gonna be something there,
whether it's an NFT drop or something,
it's really important.
And I've been to people's studios before.
