AI Summary

person who has that fire under them because that's going to rally the rest of the team. And Stacy, she might be that person. I'm not confident with Nessir, you know. Yeah, but Stacy, if you look at the signature block on that 66 page briefing, Stacy's the one who signed it. And if she argues the way that she wrote that, I feel very good about her representing him because you can feel like the passion and what she believes in their case. And like I said, you only need one of those people on the defense team. If you've got one, that significantly increases his chance. I don't think I forgot, I have to do this for YouTube. Sorry, you guys continue. YouTube, hold on. Continue, I'm sorry. Oh, I was just going to say that I think that their, their memo was the most realistic. Their timeline, what they think it's going to take was more realistic than the prosecutors and certainly way more realistic than Eric is lawyer. And it's flipped. Normally, you see in prosecutions, it's the defense is trying to put the gas pedal toward a trial date and the state's usually not ready. So it's an anomaly and it's unusual for me to see the victims attorney and the prosecution trying to shotgun this through trial, even though the prosecution said in their memo that they're still investigating the case. So that's interesting. But they want to go to trial as soon as next year, that doesn't make any sense. The aggressive hold on the aggressive nature of the of Eric a Kirk's attorney is wild to hear it. I mean, he was literally yelling at the judge. And I'm not even joking. He was yelling at that judge about getting this over fast. Yeah, it's crazy. It's unusual. You don't usually see a victim's lawyer taking up that much air time in a case. It's ridiculous. I can't overstate how unusual that you know this whole thing is unusual. But it's just adds to the anomalies that we're seeing in the court case. Now did they address at all this change of venue when you were there? No. Oh, it's feedback, isn't it? Can you guys, I'm holding on trying to get the yes, they talk about it, but just about the time. Okay, hold on. You two can't hear. Okay. What are you going? Do you want to give us a basic run down of the whole process? Let me get my sound going for YouTube because I don't usually do this setup. If you guys can kind of just discuss for a second what you've seen without me and then I'll cover it. Let me get the fix. So I saw Billy's tweet about the fact that I think it was the victim's lawyer who basically stated verbatim, Andrew Colvette's tweet, almost word for word, which I'm not surprised. So she said she was surprised. I'm not surprised. It's clear that they're working in conjunction with the lawyer. I also thought it was interesting. If you look at that memo that the victim's lawyer wrote, he said he was only writing it on behalf of Eric Hunter minor children. And I'm just curious if that means that there has been some sort of formal separation at least in this legal process with respect to Charlie for his parents because he made it clear that he wasn't writing this on their behalf. So I thought that was interesting for sure. Well, there was something that happened. Okay, there we go. I think that they can hear that. So they can hear me now on YouTube and let me get it so they can hear the space. Hold on. Shit. Okay. I know they can hear me on YouTube. There was something there. So they, Erica didn't join the WebEx online. We actually had a delay at the beginning because they gave the password for the WebEx, Erica Kirk's attorney or Erica Kirk gave the password for the WebEx to a representative of Charlie Kirk's parents and didn't tell anybody, including the judge. So they had some random person that was not on the on the approved list joining a secure WebEx and they had a halt because they didn't know what was going on. And the person on the WebEx didn't identify themselves. So we didn't know until like way later, it was crazy. Did they get kicked off or did they get to stay? They ended up coming back. I'm going to get into it when I go through my notes. I'm trying to see if they can hear. Let me see. What has the public reporting told you so far? You're the guy. You're the one that everybody's waiting on. Okay, they're all waiting on me. All right. I was just curious, man. I was just curious. I don't know. But they should have let the public see it. So it's crazy. They didn't even let you, anybody stream it. So you're literally with boots on the ground. I don't know why they didn't do that though, right? Like I was, I was really perturbed that they didn't do that. Sound on you who can't, we can't hear you now. You can hear you. YouTube can hear 100% nothing we have here is now. Public reporting. Okay, there's a fucking still no X space. That's all right. It's lagged. It'll work. It'll work. All right. Let me, I'm sorry you guys. I'm trying to get dialed in. Let me see. Macers, video capture. I think. Sorry. I'm sorry. I am. But I got it. Okay. Now I think I'm almost got it. Let me see. I'm not used to doing this. I think I'm good. I think we're good. Okay. Let me go through. So when we got there, somebody say something. Bottom right corner, please repost the space. Let me get into the notes here. So my shorthand is awful, but there we go. So 10, 20, 10, 23, 20, 25, pre trial, Tyler Robinson conference, Tyler's parents and the defense go. So the first thing they did when they got there was, which was interesting because they didn't do this last time. Other Tyler's parents, along with the defense, went into a conference room next to the courtroom as soon as we all got there as soon as they got there. And we went, we actually went up the same time as everybody, which they didn't keep us all separated like the usual. It was way different because Erica Kirk wasn't there. I mean, way different. I was able to park my SUV in the parking lot. I was able to, we were able to sleep in the SUV for a couple of hours when it was cold and raining. Like you don't usually get to do all of that. Usually you have to stay right there. You can't leave. You can't have your car in the parking lot after five. They were way more reliable. It makes it easier on everybody. I wish it doesn't come back to any of them. I would be honest with you. Like it is so much easier for everybody when she's not there. It went way smoother way way smoother. So Tyler's parents and the defense go into a conference room with the prosecution. That was at about 1230 when we first went up there. And I imagine that was probably like the beginnings of maybe a deal or like some kind of conference. I don't, I'm not really sure. For my, when I understand the pretrial, if they're going to cut any kind of a deal or ask for any kind of a deal or offer any kind of a deal, it's usually as a pretrial as we'll see the first one. And then only a retard takes the first deal that they're offered. They don't, you got to wait for the better deal. Statistically, I look this up. Statistically most of them happen when a trial date is set. Because that's kind of like when you're starting to get into the nitty gritty of things and you've kind of had some time to negotiate things out, see where the tips are. You have all the discovery in or most of it and you have a good idea of what you're looking at. And that's where like a lot of these deals will happen. So that's good thing. Cool. I'm glad skipped out. She's good. Okay. Am I good? Okay. The YouTube's good. Everybody hit that like button over on YouTube. Help me share it out. Again, Octavio, can you hear me? Yes, I can hear you. Okay. Am I right about that? Usually the prosecution offers, this is usually when they have everything, they offer a better deal up front and as time goes on and they have to put more work in it, the deals get worse. But I think this is different because if you remember in the memo, they haven't received everything and they also said they're gearing up to do motions to compel and send their own subpoenas. So the way I read that, it appears, if you read between the lines, the prosecution is playing discovery games with the defense. That's what that means and they're probably not likely going to take a deal until they've seen everything. And what do they get? I mean, really, you just got life without, I think like the different variations we might see here is like the death penalty, then life without parole, with no appeal, without the possibility of parole. Yes, it would just be them taking death off the table I would imagine. Yeah, so like how much negotiation room do you really have? Not much. Except for it depends on how weak the case gets for the prosecution, through, right? I mean, if more evidence gets released in the public that shows that he's innocent or makes it appear that he's innocent because of, you know, increases the reasonable doubt in the public pressure, is that put the prosecution in a, like a, like a, a pressure point where they're going to likely cut a deal just to get the conviction in? It really, yeah, I guess it depends on the prosecutor and it'll also be interesting to see how the judge might rule on this motion for change of venue because that could potentially impact it. But the state, once they have somebody in their sites, they're highly unlikely to dismiss, especially now that they've literally got a sitting president who is essentially also trying to shotgun Tyler Robinson all the way through to a conviction. I think the political pressure is way too high for the state to even consider reducing charges, dismissing the case, going easy on Tyler Robinson. You have the president, the president's son, the vice president in Erica Kirk, who is the head of one of the largest political action organizations in the world, all shot gunning. She was calling him an assassin just a few days ago. I mean, this guy doesn't have a chance. I could not believe the president tweeted on him. I'm like, how do you get a fair jury then? You know, yeah, that's why I don't think a venue's going to make a difference. I don't think a change of venue will make a difference. I mean, California might help. Well, you can only go into any other county in Utah, but it still has to be a new ton. I don't think Utah's that big. It's not. No, it's not. The concentration is, yeah, it's just not. And the more rural you get, the more likely you're going to get politically aligned people with Trump. Okay, you can't hear everybody in X. YouTube, bear with me. I'm going to get the sound going. Just give me a moment. Okay, just give me a moment. I'm getting everything set up. I'm not used to doing this like this. I'm just doing the best I can with what I have at the moment. So yeah, let me get this going. I just had to get this up there. There's a link down below now. Let me post that. Okay. Yeah, so, yeah, I just wasn't really even ready at all. I didn't prepare to do this. I didn't really have time. I'm tired. We stayed up most of the night. Actually, everybody else got some sleep. I only got like two hours of sleep. So I'm a little bush. But I think let me give this and I'll get into the notes. Are there a lot of people in the courtroom? Like did a lot of public comment show up? No, I mean, there was 30 spots in the courtroom and there were 30 spots in the courtroom and none of them. There was only about maybe 10. 10 members of the public in there and they didn't all make it all day. I think after the first like major recess, we lost like we lost like half. We lost like half of the people. It was really weird, man. Really, really weird. I don't it was so strange to. Oh, there we go. Oh, video caption devices. Yeah, to be there this morning and there's only three of us in line. Especially when.
