On September 3, the first results of Control AI's lobbying bore fruit.
Bernie Sanders introduced the Ban Superintelligent AI Bill,
and Control AI took credit for consulting on it.
Just five days later, on September 8,
his win Anthropics Cox and resigned and his warning went viral.
That very same day,
a British member of Parliament introduced an AI Ban Bill,
which Control AI takes credit for writing.
Then, two days later, on September 10,
that a private Democratic Party fundraiser,
Barack Obama joined in the Pylon,
and warned that AI is moving too fast in private hands.
And this scientist are telling us,
this is the crack's win that comes out.
If we don't act incredibly boldly within the next six, seven years,
this is going to be a reprobial damage done, not just in Nevada,
not just the Vermont or Massachusetts,
but through the entire world.
You're said in right.
This is an existential threat.
You know what the...
Am I right in saying that you're looking at potentially $300 billion
with the savings with this move?
Yeah, absolutely.
You're going to get hundreds of billions of dollars,
over 300 billion is...
Yeah, one second.
I skipped one.
I just found that Bernie Sanders.
I just threw it in there.
Here's what...
Here was the complimentary post by Mike,
speaker of Mike Johnson on AI.
Okay, the ones that run the frontier labs and the others.
And so all the big names that you know,
I think within the next week,
we will be together at the White House for important meetings.
When the president says the folks what he's referring to is
we've all seen this movie before, okay?
We're 49 days out from an election.
A catastrophe is created.
The media gets spun up.
Social media gets spun up.
Everybody says we're all going to be...
They literally said we're all going to be dead in ten years.
You remember when AOC said,
what was the climate change?
What was her stupid thing?
She said we're all going to be dead in ten years.
You know, this is...
What the president is saying is you're not all going to be dead in ten years.
Okay? That's a hoax.
At the same time, we have to say...
I saw a commend to your viewing what David Sacks did to give a CBS interview.
I think it was last night.
A lengthy interview about a half hour.
Following up on his social media post about 48 hours ago.
Remember he was the AI's R and the Trump administration in the second term.
And now he's the co-chair of the Science and Technology Commission.
And David Sacks who comes from Silicon Valley and knows this well.
He says, this is alarmism.
Listen, AI is serious.
We do need to make sure that it's done safely.
But let's...
Again, let's apply common sense.
If you are a company,
you're a corporation in America,
including a tech corporation,
you have a responsibility to make safe products.
We have all sorts of federal laws and regulations
that already insist upon that provided.
We also have products liability law.
OK?
So if you're Dario or Sam or any of the big providers,
those two lead frontier labs in the development of AI and what happens next.
They can self-police.
They can self-regulate.
They don't need the government to tell them to slow it down.
They want to slow it down.
They should.
But we cannot...
We cannot have a more torium on the development of AI.
OK?
Because then we will lose our edge to China.
And that has serious national security implications for you.
I'm right in saying that you're looking at potentially $300 billion worth of savings
with this move.
Yeah, absolutely.
You're going to hundreds of billions of dollars,
over 300 billion as you pointed out of savings.
A lot of plants were targeted to go out altogether.
And with the 2024 Biden rules that came into place,
they had set technological requirements on these plants
that they would not be able to meet.
That was by design.
And when a plant is unable to meet that infeasible target,
they would have to shut down.
This started during the first Obama administration.
And this is the biggest one that gets referenced most often.
But there were a whole bunch of different rules,
more than triangulating the coal and natural gas and more.
And with the message, by the way, telling coal workers,
they should just learn to code.
And telling states that rely on these sources of energy
that they're at a lot.
Oh, isn't it crazy?
For me, the inaction came out that same kind of information
we shared yesterday,
but gave it more context.
Stock traders, Tom, slow come stock traders.
All right.
Can you hear me, Tom?
How about Taz?
Yeah, I can't.
Sorry, I was in the morning.
I was in bed.
I was in bed.
I was constructing tweets in the background,
going after stupid rhinos.
There's the idiot state rep in Texas that came out yesterday
and said, oh, well, we might just abolish the railroad
commissioner commission completely,
like the whole commission, which includes
two other statewide Republicans
because he doesn't want both French to get elected.
The stupid knee jerk reactions here in Texas right now are...
Explain to me how it's railroad commission
of its covering energy.
I don't know.
Because 100 something years ago,
when they established a railroad commission,
they were more concerned with railroads
and they were with oil and gas activity.
That was the big thing.
And so the oil and gas activity,
instead of starting a oil and gas division,
keeping with small government,
they just put oil and gas underneath the railroad commission,
fast-forward 100 years later,
as of 2005, the U.S.
graduated college, the railroad commission,
no longer has any kind of regulatory oversight
over railroads in Texas.
But because Republicans are too lazy to rename the commission
and they don't want Democrats to know
that the railroad commission governs oil and gas,
they just kept the name, the railroad commission.
You know, typical Texas Republicans,
not very smart people, when I campaigned,
I told everybody we need to change the name of the commission.
We could do it one pickup truck at a time
over the course of five years
and it wouldn't cost us a lot of money.
Of course people were like, oh, well, we can't do that.
We have to leave it the railroad commission.
I was like, okay, whatever.
But you agreed with that comment that it's not.
We are in a humanitarian interdiction we're doing,
but it's Russia.
Well, you can.
It is the fact that there is less diesel on the market.
Diesel comes from refineries.
Iran doesn't have diesel refineries.
Saudi doesn't have diesel refineries.
Russia does and Ukraine is destroying them
using our tax dollars.
So listen here folks, your tax dollars
are being used in a foreign war,
an approximate war with China and Russia
to destroy Russian diesel refineries,
which produce diesel, which was being shipped to America
to keep our diesel tanks full
because your American politicians are absolutely retarded
and refuse to build diesel refineries here in America,
even when they know, hey, we're about to go blow up
a bunch of diesel refineries in Russia.
Maybe we should fix the problem in America first.
Oh no, screw that.
Just press the red button, just blow them all up.
The hell with the, oh yeah, let's just blow them up.
Boom, blow them up.
All right, well, there goes all that diesel.
Oh well, I'm sorry, Republicans in DC
look like complete idiots for not addressing this
and I will not change my tune on this.
And the beatings will continue into a morale improve.
I'm not going to stay silent about it
because it is a major problem.
Major problem.
I don't care where 45 days for election
and I said to everybody back in April,
this isn't solved and this gets worse before the election.
You're not going to hear me shut up about it.
Of course, I'm going to continue campaigning
for Republicans, but you're not going to see me
stick my head in the sand because we got morons in DC
that refuse to do anything.
In fact, they just went on vacation.
They're not going to do anything
until the after the elections over.
That's how much these people hate you.
So when you see your congressman in person,
let them know how much you hate them
because they hate you.
Same goes for your senators.
Well, sounds like they'll hand off to you, Tess.
Whoa, yeah.
Well, I mean, the other thing to remember
and you know, I thought most respects for Tom,
but not to contradict him.
But the problem with diesel Tom is that the US
produces more diesel than it consumes.
And these companies are making money selling diesel
at a premium and shipping it out of the US.
That's the problem.
Americans come last when it comes to oil companies.
It is all about the mighty dollar.
And this is about greed.
The only problem right now with gas prices
and diesel prices in the US is corporate greed.
It's not, has nothing to do with Iran.
Has nothing to do with Ukraine.
So Chevron can unilaterally index on
they can just lower the price of diesel the puppet
they choose to.
Is that what you're trying to tell me right now?
They could put.
Change the price of the pump over there in Houston.
Todd needs $299 or $199 diesel.
Just change the price of the pump for Tom.
That you think they can do that?
Are you serious?
They could put the American people first
as their largest consumers and stop banking
on the fact that they're selling at a premium
to these other companies.
They're shipping out to other countries at a premium
and we're paying the price for it.
It's ridiculous.
And it's been this way for decades.
No, it hasn't actually.
We actually had the crude oil export ban
in place until Obama lifted it,
but that was just for crude oil.
Okay, and we've been importing 400,000 gallons
of diesel a day from Russia.
So hold on one second.
I gotta take the call.
I'll be right back.
Good morning, Patrick.
How are you this morning?
Oh, I'm just fine.
You know, I just wanted to say,
look, it's a global market.
And if you think that it, you know,
the price of diesel depends on how much we actually produce
in the United States, you're not paying any attention, right?
So the fact of the matter is,
and this is incontrovertible,
the war in Iran has escalated the price of diesel
in a ridiculous way by a self-inflicted wound,
by a moronic president who shouldn't even be in there
in the first place, who's a complete Jack wagon.
And he caused this.
One man decided to cause this problem,
and there's no way around it, right?
If you don't like paying, you know,
six and a half dollars for diesel,
you got one man to blame for.
It's a jackass and 1600 Pennsylvania evidence.
That's the guy who did this, right?
It's nobody else's fault.
You can blame, you can say, well, Biden this
and Obama that, whatever.
No, he's the president.
He decided to start this stupid, unnecessary,
more that's gonna get us absolutely nothing.
And we're gonna have to pay more at the pump.
That's just the way it is.
Whoops.
And if you see it differently,
I'd love for you to explain how it's different.
Well, what's the, who's in,
where's the, the Brent crude?
Where's that stock ticker at?
Because when you say global,
and that was the piece I played earlier,
I understand this two different, yeah, yeah.
So I don't, yeah.
But I'm talking about what you're paying at the pump
in America today, right?
Brent is the different situation, but yeah.
Well, I'm just saying,
because that was the piece I played earlier
that they're identifying the Russian Ukraine.
That's gonna be effective more.
And obviously because that's where that stuff comes from.
So one thing y'all need to know,
real quick, going back to the diesel that we export.
It's being exported to Canada and to Mexico
and to other markets because we're importing their crude
in order to make that diesel.
And so as a part of that trade agreement,
because we're importing it,
they get refined product back.
Yeah. So does that mean?
Which drives me so, so crazy.
So what we, we may not,
because we have oil in this country
that we can just decide that we're gonna use all of it.
We don't do that.
It's much more complicated than like your say it's off.
It is very complicated and nuanced.
And if you don't want to sell diesel to Canada,
then we probably won't be able to import any of their oil.
Probably they'd sit on it and just say,
well, if you're not gonna sell this diesel,
why should we do business with you at all?
So once again, you know,
if you want America to be truly
and 100% energy independent,
but we have to be able to produce
an insane amount of refined diesel in America.
That means we have to have more oil and gas production
domestically so we don't get hung up
in a trade agreement with a foreign country, right?
So if we, if we have trade agreements
with all these foreign countries,
every time we go to make a contract with a refinery,
they're gonna say, okay,
well, we need this much refined product back
if we're gonna sell this to you.
So if we go down that road,
you're gonna have to import and import and import
and keep on importing and you may never catch up.
Until you crank up the production in America,
and the Gulf of America and everywhere else,
and until we double or triple the amount
of diesel refinery capacity here,
it's never going to go down.
And every time a Russian diesel refinery gets blown up
by your taxpayer-funded missile that went to Ukraine
or whatever they're using over there,
you know, you are making the price of diesel go up.
We have to expand refinery capacity.
I don't know how many times I have to preach this,
you know, I need to start a damn match.
What if we do, Tom?
What if we do, if we...
