who sounded exactly like you, victory.
And I kept calling her victory.
And I don't think she's gonna ever come back
because I kept calling her,
you see how much I miss you.
Oh, I missed you too.
Some dice to get together.
Awesome, awesome.
Great.
Let's get Pingo on the mic.
And then we'll go back to Ethereum,
X, third time, so Charm, Pingo.
What is up on your side, sir?
Can you hear it?
Yes, loud and clear. Welcome, sir.
Okay.
Jamer Brown, thanks for having me.
Thanks to the host.
I'm Jay.
I'm Regenerate of Pingo.
So we are on the first,
I'm David Vodja on the 10th of the walk.
We utilizing the E-Walk on the computer sources
for AI and engineering development.
So basically we monetizing your unused bandwidth,
your unused HTTP,
and then you can get the rewards.
I did a symphony.
I decided to be here.
Amazing, amazing.
Excited to host you as well and clear, concise,
and right on point.
Ladies and gentlemen, please take notes.
Victory, Pingo, clear, concise introductions,
no BS and right on point,
because we need to allocate most of the time
to the actual conversation at hand,
which is new cycles in crypto,
because you open the X in the morning
and everyone is talking about the same story.
By the afternoon, there's a new explanation.
By tomorrow the conversation has moved on.
The something else is in hype.
So we need to be able to trace everything
and try to dissect how do we actually understand
and pursue news.
Let's go through some final intros
before we get Ethereum X back on stage.
Floring the honorable speaker for today.
What is going on?
Hello, everyone, and thank you for having me today,
as usually.
Floring from Openverse,
we're building a layer zero infrastructure
focused on connecting networks and applications
and digital values.
Thank you.
Amazing, amazing introductions.
Thank you to all that joined Ethereum X
welcome on stage.
Are you with us?
Last but certainly not the least.
I don't know what's going on on your side today, man.
It's like, do you guys hear Ethereum X?
Is this my glitch?
Is this on my end?
No, we cannot hear it now.
I cannot hear it.
Yeah, we can't hear Ethereum X.
Unfortunately, I love to hear it.
I think Ethereum is in listener.
He's not a speaker right now.
He has to request a speaker.
No, he's still a listener.
But he was a speaker just now.
He just moved back to listeners, I think.
But anyway, he'll be coming back if not his here a lot.
So we'll get him next time as well.
Meanwhile, let us talk about the new cycles.
Honestly, you guys know how the drill is going on
on this side.
We raise our own hand.
I call your name, you speak.
Let's have a normal civil conversation.
And the idea is to understand crypto a little bit more
each space at a time.
It's very simple.
There's no agenda.
There's a few questions I'll be asking,
but it's not a dictatorial space.
What makes a story dominate the crypto news cycle?
This is the main question.
Some announcements dominate the timeline
and with others, they're barely registering.
So what makes it an attention?
This is my first question.
What do you guys think?
What are the hallmarks of a good story or a, let's say,
announcement?
Flooring.
The floor is yours.
I think crypto stories spread as well when they combine money
and emotion and also the uncertainty.
Larger price movement immediately attracts the attention
of the people.
Fear and excitement then encourage people
to share the story before they can't fully understand it.
Certain narratives also return because they are familiar.
AI and tokenization and institutional adoption
can become popular again whenever a new announcement
supports the story.
So to decide whether or not something
lasting important, we can ask a simple question.
What has actually changed?
Can user success and new product,
has a working code, has been released to business now,
do something that it cannot be done before.
So what token version we prefer to connect
news with visible progress, such as protocol releases
and documentation and open source code.
Thank you.
Good point.
Good point.
And I'm really curious about the aspect
of what is it that makes it?
Because there's many different projects.
There's thousands, probably thousands and thousands
upon thousands of projects in We3 that go,
they pivot sometimes going to the AI sphere
or the theme or thematic zone.
But some of them dominate.
And yes, price action is definitely
one of the most important parts.
And I'm not going to shy away from saying, yes, price,
if you can pump the price, sure, that is up to you, Sir,
or Lady, Sir.
But one useful question is what actually changed these days?
Does the story affect what people can use,
or what businesses can do?
How a network operates?
Like, is there a concrete way to examine it?
Pingo, let's hear your take.
Yeah, I think this is a bit of a lot,
because if you have spent any time in the crypto platform,
like AI, like Telegram, I think,
we will start to notice quickly
that what's becoming a big story and what actually matters
are two very different things.
And the understanding of the gap is
like, generally one of the most useful scales
you can develop in space.
So even though what makes people share a crypto story,
I think that harness an effort for me,
at most, basically, of course.
I would say, I think it's about, I mentioned,
like fear, excitement, boom, or so on.
So if a headland triggers one of the four things,
I think it will spread.
And I don't think a story about the, like,
protocol processing, transaction, blockchain,
technical things, blah, blah, blah,
will become more efficient.
And you know, that doesn't really move people
almost generally.
But I'm really sure, I'm really sure,
that a story about like major hack,
like Bitcoin crossing you all the time
high, or about the government trying to hunt something.
I think that stuff will travel at likes with you.
It makes people feel something right.
And if you talk about the price movement,
as the biggest amplifier of all,
we know that how we can publish a real
a top full piece about the project technology.
And it gets a few hundred raise, maybe.
But I think that the moment that the same projects
talk on, like, for example,
goes up to 30%, 40%, 80% it'll be
then suddenly everyone wants to know everything about it.
And then the price, I think the price will create
another like the graph day.
And then it turns what might have been
a niche development into something
the world time list is discussing.
And there's not about this crypto-special phenomenon.
I think the market have always driven media attention.
But in the crypto, the feedback loop
have been raised between another day.
I think it's probably higher than anywhere else,
like rather than stock, bond, gold.
I think the stuff that's generally a machine of headlines
and also quick intercepts the critical system of romance,
many years, over years.
Well, interesting take indeed.
And well, the interesting part is how do we
separate information from hype?
Because the story can contain accurate facts, accurate facts,
and still have readers with the wrong impression.
Like a few discussion points on this aspect would be,
in my opinion, what do you check before trusting
an announcement?
There was a time in 2021 when the NFD craze was going on,
people would do announcements for announcements.
And that is an interesting way to pop up hype.
It would be like, I'm going to announce something crazy
tomorrow.
So Frank Degas, for example, would post something like that.
And then he would rally people to the announcement.
An announcement itself would get so much more views
and so many impressions that it would be like, it's a great
tactic.
But it doesn't work all the time.
If you're screaming for the wolves every single time,
they might not believe you.
Yeah, go for it.
I agree with you.
And we asked about why certain narrative
keep returning.
I think it's about because the underlying tense
and the group, you mentioned before,
between regulation and freedom, like speculation and utility,
and blah, blah, blah.
I think those tension never of a few resolve.
Like you mentioned about the offer by Sears, maybe a big F,
ACG, and Vermont, and Stavecoins.
I think they can back the cycle because the core conflict
has nothing, said the right.
And they are not returning because they are out of use.
I think they're always returning because they're
unfinished with us.
Yeah, yeah, that is for sure.
Ethereum acts.
Are you up on stage finally?
Is this the moment of truth?
Or do you guys see Ethereum acts on stage?
Yeah, see, we see him.
I see him being unmuted even, but he's not talking.
So I don't know what's up, man.
I have no idea what is this bone that X is picking on you.
It's not your day.
What can I say?
Moving on to another question is who shapes the conversation
itself?
Like our feeds reflect the accounts we follow
and the content platforms that put in front of us.
And this is important because X has a specific algorithm
that it changes very frequently.
So how much influence do prominent accounts
have over which stories get attention?
For example, we were talking about it
from the growth side.
The KOLs have become somewhat of an outdated practice
because there's so many KOLs that just
came to system or have fake followers.
And I think the projects have caught on onto this.
I'm really curious about the aspect of how do we look for news?
And how do you guys sort the news?
Floring, would you like to tell me,
how do you, when you look through your timeline,
how do you, let's say, how do you scroll through or stick
through what you should be paying attention to versus what
doesn't matter?
Usually the news that I see X especially,
they are keep coming back from what I interacted the last time,
last days.
So the algorithm, it's keep providing me
the same type of content, what I was looking for.
And trying to find more accurate sources,
I look carefully about how they speak.
So if they use terms like we are exploring,
we are testing and product is live.
So I checked the evidence also, the link that
are provided in the news.
And if there is already a working product or a documentation
that I can read more code about it, and users also
can verify that.
And the projects I think should explain both the achievement
and also the limitations, because the Hona's communication
builds more trust than making a development
sounds revolutionary.
So at first I tried to find the original source,
then you identify what's available.
