I I have kind of lost my voice but I hope you can hear me okay It's been it was it was a rough trip It was a learning experience for sure I Should have left a day sooner. I didn't realize House cars Super chargers were Tesla super chargers Going through Oklahoma I did the no toll okay, and you don't want to do that if you're driving a Tesla You probably want to go ahead and select the tolls Just want to say If you end up getting turns down the wrong road You may end up in the middle of nowhere where there is no Tesla's And you end up going into an RV park, you know, and that's where I ended up and Needless to say I did get a blessing though some an older man who felt bad for me Because he said yeah, there's no Tesla chargers in this area And he told me he's like go to the McDonald's, you know Up there by that loves gas station And I I did go but he gave me a hundred bucks said buy your kids some food I went and the charger the EV charger that was available was not available for my Tesla So it was an EV charger for you know the other electric vehicles or I heard you could get an attachment or whatever What not But I ended up going back to the RV park Couple times because that was it just like I went there like two or three times Because the super Walmart super center I went there and come to find out Because you have a 2016 to the 2021 your car needed to get a software update or upgrade from the dealership Which it hadn't had done and um I was trying and I was battling with trying to get it updated upgraded I have five kids you know in my hair and I'm trying to do it and I just I couldn't get it Funny thing is it did go I was able to get it to work when I got home but um Yeah, make sure you have that taken care of but uh I ended up missing my son's wedding because of all this mess uh I think that I I may be pursuing doing a documentary on it like how Terrible it is that we don't have These chargers available to us you know um It's just from personal experience. It's not been a very good one for me. So I do appreciate the prayers. I do appreciate everybody um Just being there for me. I found out that later They're actually in Oklahoma. There's a There's a Number you can call because apparently this is not the only time this has happened if you're stranded And you have a Tesla that there's these people that'll come and charge your Your Tesla Uh, but I found this out after the fact so you could get to a supercharger Which it was good to hear that there are people out there doing that uh, because uh, I was stranded at an RV park Uh, my best choice to go to to charge my vehicle to get my kids off To a supercharger which was like An hour an hour and 20 minutes away and that was in um Higgy Higgy Yeah, I can't say it. Higgy My toes so bad. It starts with an H Uh, Oklahoma So I went there. We got a motel. I missed my son's wedding. He said don't worry about coming I was too late And so I got to make it up to my master the honeymoon I feel terrible. I um, I Went to plan things a lot different So I appreciate everybody Just keep me in your prayers You know Miss miss so net I went out when I saw your picture yesterday. I think it was yesterday And if y'all don't know miss so net miss so net's one of the nicest people on x I've known her for a couple years now And when I saw that picture, I almost are a crime because and then after I found out you're going to your your son's wedding I said oh my gosh you you're there with your five kids And you're trying to charge your your Tesla at the RV park on a regular plug And I just like oh I couldn't believe it. I'm not prayed for you right then. I said to pray for you And I just felt so bad But see I didn't realize until this happened to you You're the first person that I know of that it's had these problems because you know Where I live I live in southeast Texas We have some super chargers around you know here And of course if I go to h-town and bigger cities there You know they're everywhere But just like you said when you get out in these smaller areas smaller towns You've got to be very careful because Whenever this happens and so net you can just correct me if I'm wrong I was helping one of my other good friends. She's buying a Tesla And I was doing research about you know the charging if she needs a super charger the 240 volt or the you know the 120 if you have this the regular plug-in charger that comes with the Tesla It'll charge your car anywhere from Three miles to five miles an hour with the regular 120 At 240 that really jumps it up So with you sitting there on the side of the road try with the regular just had it plugged in trying to get three miles per hour with your kids. I was thinking oh my gosh poor misonet Poor misonet is that about right the charging speed where you were where you were just waiting misonet Yes It was it was a 32 amp You could see on the on the other thing So it was a slow very slow charge Just the way to get to where it needed to be and then thinking you know Oh, I get it to here. I could go to super Walmart Super Center I could get charged up and then I can move on to the supercharger You know another supercharger and get to my son and It was very very taxing very upsetting To come to find out that my software system wasn't updated it and I yeah I need to be more prepared for these type of situations in small towns. It's scary It's very scary RV parks is where you can go That's that was my smart thinking guys like the only thing I could think of and Thankfully they do have those but I had to pay I had to pay $50 I and I was blessed that that guy gave me that under bucks because That that was God, you know, and I paid the 50 bucks So that the guy would let me charge it so I was in no issues there. I was just thankful for that I'm a thankful for the little things. I was thankful that I got to spend extra time with my kids We kind of had a little picnic and put a blanket out on the ground You know, I played my guitar. I you know, I actually got to sit and I played a couple songs with them Um, we made the best of it and I was just thankful the RV park was not like a bad RV park, you know So I was I was blessed there and and so the prayers were answered and And that aspect, you know, and I could have went a lot worse. So I am thankful. I am home Um, I'm more I'll be more prepared the next time You know, so I appreciate you Miss Sonnet, I know your voice is is going out, but I have another and again. This is this is This hits home for me from you know since I've known you and you're such a sweet person How many miles was the trip one way? I'm just curious because you live in Texas like I do How far was the actual you know where you're trying to go and and you know, what was your plan because it's just wild that this happened to you Well, see if I'd had a gaspia go I would have made it there right on time because there's gas stations everywhere You know the problem with the um, there's no super chargers. There's cars They are spread out so far. You have to charge up to 100 and the the band's not good for the battery to charge over 100 You're supposed to charge it at 80 you know, keep it at 80 But when you're traveling like out net kind of nick of the woods you want to you want it to be at 100 and um, I was Going it was a six almost seven hour drive to get to where I needed to be and so I just I couldn't make it Missouri if you were going through Missouri, Arkansas area. That's even worse Um, so like when you go in through Oklahoma, you want to take the tolls I just want to fair warn you if you're driving to test a take the tolls don't go no toll um You want to take tolls you know, where you hit up those chargers and don't get beer off on the wrong road because if you do in Oklahoma You can't get yourself turned around Yeah, you're if your charge is getting pretty low you're gonna end up You might end up where I was in the middle of nowhere and be like oh, I had the only place I could think of going as an RV park because there's no chargers, so That was that was fun That time Next time around I won't be leaving to go there the same day. I'll plan it. I'll go an extra day I just needed to work I had to work to make extra money so I could try and go on this trip the day before and And it's just not easy. It's For a working classes and like me. It's just not easy. I appreciate you guys Yes, ma'am and we appreciate you.
